Harvey is a 6 foot rabbit, 9 or 10 when stretched out long, as rabbits do. He is a pooka and mount for one of my other characters (Yes, it's just what you're thinking if you know fae folklore), I would love to see him drawn with a brown leather saddle and lots of very elven/fae styled bags and pouches.
I want to say my budget is anywhere up to $30.00 USD. I don't really want to spend more than that but will still entertain more expensive offers if I like the art style!

Need Characters for Some Experimental Art
Posted 10 years agoNeed some characters for experimental art again. I do this a lot and sometimes I don't follow through because the experiment as it is just isn't turning out the way I want it to.
This time however I'm going to do my best to stick to it until I like the end result. Again this is a type of Art Request different from my norm and will be artist choice. Honestly though, I would like to complete quite a few of these to have examples on hand so please consider applying!
The Experiment:
What I want to do is some full page scenes. Scenes that I can put together for an illustration portfolio as I have recently been applying to a lot of children's book freelance work and small book companies. These scenes will have backgrounds and details up the wahoo so they will probably take me some time.
How you Can Supply:
Since I already have a lot of human characters of my own to use for human sampling, what I would like from my followers are some anthro and feral designs to work with. If you have some fairly fleshed out characters you would like me to experiment with then please consider them for this. I need a bit of a grasp of the character to properly out them in a scene.

Art Reflect... art requests, webcomics, uncertainty
Posted 10 years agoI have opened my art requests many times over at various intervals for various things, and I do wonder if it makes me seem unreliable...
I know I don't get through as many of the things as I try to and only now have I established a kind of speed and turn around that I can cope with.
My Halloween challenge was a huge let down as all my days off when I wanted to draw dried up as money became super tight.
I wanted to open an art challenge kind of thing that would allow my followers to pick through some color palettes and pick a species for me to draw... kind of like a custom PYOP adopt request. I thought of keeping it open all year and just plugging it repeatedly when it came to art requests instead of making more and more new posts. I'm not sure how this will go over or if people would be interested. I don't want to keep seeming like a flake. (I have a lot of started pieces and such that I am very earnest about finishing!)
Ever since the forums went down and had to be rekindled, I haven't had a single commission and that really bums me out. I used to get 1-2 a week... I'm not relying on FA or commissions for income like many, but I do feel like it motivates me to try harder.
I have until May 2016 if I want to really push for making a webcomic. I have many scripts started and laid out and now it is a matter of choosing the right one. I need to choose a storyline that is interesting and not so ho-hum as a slice of life as many ofmy stories come out to be... my girlfriend has sat down with me once or twice and told me to take the fantasy living under your nose approach or the super far in the future space approach. Both are good I think, one being way more confusing and a commitment than the other. I think I would be more comfortable with the more modern timeline as the scenery and world building would be easier for me to draw.
I have made a lot of progress this past year and I am quite pleased with a lot of my work. I realized that I am still super more fond of drawing humanoids than furries and still found I struggle with muzzles and noses. I would like to put more things into practice and develop my drawing speed a bit more. The reason requests take me longer after all is because of my uncertainty when it comes to drawing furries. I think I am putting more concentration into "looking right" and less heart into my work to make it flow.

I am eager to develop some of my anthro and human characters. Most of my anthros are in a modern day setting, bordering high school age and a little higher. I have some characters who are looking for friendships as well as more in depth relationships.
As far as human and humanoid characters go I am actively always looking to develop my mages, werewolves, fae, and djamphirs, who all live in a modern day Earth setting hidden from the view of humans. I have countless seeking friends, relationships, and even rivals and enemies.
I rp in a prose/lit style, spanning 4 sentences or more per response. I do not care for one liners. I believe character interaction dictates character response versus forced relations by the player. I wouldn't mind rping over multiple platforms like Skype and even over time text message. Notes and messages on social platforms are also ok.
If anything might interest you please comment below with some characters you might limeto interact with and we can discuss things! I'm very sociable and always willing to hear about other people's characters.

Featured Comment: I recently started following craigosaurus, and let me say I am never disappointed! I really love their artwork and color palettes. There is a unique appeal to the style they have, drawing short muzzled/muzzle-less furs with such long and squishable feet. Their artwork comes off as pretty elegant to me, and I really enjoy it.
