Ask my OCs: More New Characters Added
Posted 5 months agoFor those who are new or didn't know, I have this journal where you can ask my OCs questions, and I'll sketch things out to answer some of them when I have the time.
Because I keep coming up with new characters, it is time to update the list with my 3 newest ones.
The new ones have been put in a list separate from the others for easier distinction. The journal where you can ask the questions can be found at the link at the end of this one. Thanks to all who participate. I also intend on working through some of the previously asked questions in the near future. There are a lot of questions that I hope to get to at some point

Show me your OCs
Posted 9 months agoHey,
Been wanting to try a little something for a while, but I've always said "when I'm less busy". Well, turns out I've been busy for the past few years, and I don't want to have that keep me until who knows when.
Basically, I wanted to try a fun little thing where you show me your OCs (or a select few of them if you have too many like I do lol), and if I see any who speak to me, I'll do a little bit of fanart of them. Now, it won't be anything glamourous or involved most likely. Just a relatively quick sketch or headshot depending on how things go. Been wanting to experiment with expressions, so the latter goes hand in hand with that. Might have color added if I feel they add to the character's whole vibe.
Feel free to leave links to any OCs you wish to be considered in the comments. Gonna challenge myself to doing at least one a month throughout the year, provided I get enough for that. (maybe 2 for February if I can't squeeze one in this month) Obviously, I won't be able to do every one. It'll be up to my discretion and preference.
Probably a good idea to put their personality or something about them as well.

What content do you want to see?
Posted 12 months agoBeen having trouble thinking of ideas for personal art lately. Probably because most of my attention has been on owed stuff. Thought I'd reach out and ask what kind of stuff you guys are interested in seeing. Maybe that will get the brain working again.
Any specific themes you would like to see more of/more often? Maybe certain characters or fan art? Any of my OCs you think I should draw more often? Or perhaps there are some types of pics that I've never tried before that you are interested in seeing me try out. You can leave any and all suggestions in the comments.
Can't promise that I'll be able to deliver on the suggestions, but I'll take them into consideration.

Ask my OCs: New Characters Added
Posted a year agoFor those who are new or didn't know, I have this journal where you can ask my OCs questions, and I'll sketch things out to answer some of them when I have the time. Added some more to give them a chance to be asked things. Didn't put them down before because either they felt too minor at the time, didn't yet exist, or I wanted to get more art to link to. But now there are some that I would like to potentially draw again.
The new ones have been put in a list separate from the others for easier distinction. The journal where you can ask the questions can be found at the link at the end of this one. How's it going?
Posted a year agoHey everyone. I noticed that it has been almost a year since my last journal. Things have gotten a lot busier for me since February of last year. I started a full-time job, and that has really left me drained when it comes to certain things I used to have the energy for. It's kinda why I never mentioned it here until now. Nowadays, I go to write a journal only to get the feeling of "nah, I don't really feel like it", and put it off until, well, never I guess. It's the same with replying to comments. Granted, I do better with that, but still, there are some I neglect, and it makes me feel bad. I've missed the interaction I used to have with people through journals. Been wanting to get back into that kinda thing.
So, for now, I wanted to just see how you guys are. Hopefully the things I post is still of interest to you lol :3
Do anything fun or interesting lately? I recently came back from FanExpo, which was a fun time ^^ Now it's back to trying to get all the art I owe done.
Sorry to those who are waiting on commissions. It's been hard to balance everything. I let stuff on Patreon get out of hand, and now I have so much to catch up on. But I'm making some changes to how things are going to work over there, so hopefully things will eventually begin to run a bit smoother. I want you to know that I haven't forgotten anything I owe, and it will be done eventually. As soon as I am able. Art has just been hecka slow as of late, and it's really frustrating. I know most those this concerns have no problem waiting, and I am very appreciative of that. Still, it makes me feel bad making people wait.
Anyway, that's about it for now. Gonna try to post journals to interact more from time to time. Hopefully that resolution doesn't end up abandoned.

Raffle Winner
Posted 2 years agoFirst of all, thank you to all who decided to enter. Unfortunately, there can only be one winner, and that winner turned out to be
gashren
Congratulations to the winner. I will contact you in the near future so we can discuss the details of the prize. Please bare with me if it ends up being a few days. Been really bad at managing notes and messages and stuff lately, but I'm working on it.
Thanks again to all my watchers that made it possible to hold a 1000 watcher raffle in the first place.

Let's try this out (Ask my OCs)
Posted 2 years agoMy brother
jimfoxx posted a journal doing this and said I should do one as well. I've been wanting to do this for a while, but didn't know how much participation there would be. Might as well try, right? Figured this could be a fun way to potentially draw more of my OCs as well as discover more about them. Please excuse the older art in some of the links. I haven't drawn several of the characters in a while. That's kinda why I'm doing this.
If you would like to ask a character something you can put the name of the character as well as the question (or questions) in the comments and I'll aim to draw a response to it in the future. Might be just colored sketches for now, but that could change. Questions can be serious or silly. Anything goes as long as they're kept SFW.

1000 Watchers!!! (Special raffle time!)
Posted 2 years agoFinally hit the big 1000 a while ago. Been so busy that I kept procrastinating making a journal about it :P
Firstly, I want to thank all of you who decided you like my art enough to hit that +Watch button. An even bigger thank you to those who regularly comment on my stuff and those who honored me by commissioning :) You all keep me motivated to continue doing what I do.
I told myself that when I hit this milestone, I would do something special art-wise to either celebrate it or give back to my supporters. Even though I am super busy at this point in life, I will choose to honor that decision.
And so, I am holding a raffle.
To enter, simply leave a comment on this journal. That will give you one entry. (If for whatever reason you don't want to enter but still want to leave a comment, put an X at the start of the comment)
I will reply to your comment with a number that will be your entry for a random number generator. The winner will get a free 1-character colored wing-it.
Please note that the turnaround time for the prize is indeterminable for right now. Super busy with stuff, both art related and irl, but I still wanted to do this as a thank you to you all.
Next goal is 1500. Hope to see you there whenever that may be.
Thanks again. <3

Commission prices set to increase after the 15th
Posted 2 years ago(Meant to get this out earlier, but ran into some distractions)
Hey, I know I previously said that prices would increase in January, and that last opening was the last chance for the current prices, but I thought I'd give one last opportunity for anyone who wants to snag something for the current prices. Anyone who contacts me/contacted me about a commission before the 15th will be eligible for the current prices.
The prices after the increase are still subject to change, but for now, I'm thinking that this will be the deal:
Sketches will increase from $20 to $25 per character. I want these to remain a relatively cheap option, so they won't be increasing as much as the others. However, I will probably be changing the amount of time spent worrying about line cleanliness. They are sketches after all, and putting in work to clean the lines kind of defeats the purpose while increasing the amount of time and work spent on them. I'll still aim to make them not a total mess, though lol.
Lineart will increase from $25 to $35 per character, and flat color will increase from $35 to $45 per character. This bigger increase is because I still want to put the detail I tend to do into my work, but the motivation to do so with the current prices is lessened due to the amount of time it takes. With these new prices, I feel I would be better motivated to put in additional detail.
Any thoughts on the prices? Do these seem fair? Feedback would be appreciated. I still struggle to know my worth, to be honest, but I'm trying to get a balance of fairness for customer as well as for me the artist.
And if you would like to commission for the current prices you can do so by sending me a note.

Rating Your Furry Crushes
Posted 3 years agoHey. Been a while since I've posted any fun journals. Lately it's just been business related or about struggling and other heavy stuff. Wanted to fix that and try interacting with you again. In the form of a game of sorts.
It goes like this: You put some of your crushes in the comments below. Can be as many as you like. I'll respond with my thoughts on the character and a rating as to where they would fall on a tier list for me. (on a scale consisting on F, D, C, B, A, S, and Highest)
I'll be putting a few of my current ones here as well so you can do the same if you want :P
Mae Borowski (Night in the Woods)
Porsha Crystal (Sing 2)
Robyn Goodfellowe - Wolf form (Wolfwalkers)
Oleander (Them's Fightin' Herds)
Rosa (The House)
Trish (Snoot Game)
Heather (Over the Hedge)
Not necessarily "crushes", but male characters that I am fond of:
Stitch (Lilo and Stitch)
Beerus (Dragon Ball Super)
Jake Long - Dragon Form (American Dragon Jake Long)
Blaidd (Elden Ring)
Brooklyn (Gargoyles)

Update
Posted 3 years agoMaking this journal quick because I meant post this last week/earlier this week but every time I went to write it, I lost the motivation.
I've been dealing with some mental health issues lately, and it's been killing my motivation for art. I decided to take this week as a break from artwork to try and recharge my drive, and I think it's been working. I'm feeling the urge to draw coming back little by little, so I think by next week I'll get back into things. Though, I won't be drawing on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and every other Saturday until after Christmas. There is a reason for this, and those days specifically, but I'm going to keep it private for now. Just know that it is definitely what is best.
I'm sorry for those waiting for commissions. I really don't like making people wait, and if there's anyone who wishes I were faster, it would be me. I just need to take care of myself right now. I ask for patience, but I assure you they will be finished. I'll do my best to keep every commissioner updated.
Things will go back to normal soon.

Just something I needed to tell myself
Posted 3 years agoI feel defeated
Weighed down by crushing addiction
Behavior I thought I had overcome
Feels like I will never be free
I feel empty, angry
My own mind is my enemy
It whispers lies
Traps me in a loop
Makes me hate myself
Overwhelmed
Self-loathing
Crushing uncertainty
Beaten down
Can I still rise?
Feel like giving up.
Don't want to give up
How long will this endure?
How long can I endure?
Still, I say
God is good.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow
Praise Him all creatures here below
Praise Him above, ye heavenly hosts
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost

Posted 3 years agoBeen thinking about trying to do some kind of "ask my characters" thing where I take questions and I draw their responses to some of them, but I wanted to get a feel for how much of an interest people have in that. If enough interest is shown, I'll go ahead and do it at some point.

Commissions open!(plus special discount event)
Posted 3 years agoHey all.
Taking commissions again now that my queue is significantly decreased. Only taking sketch, lineart, and flat color for now. Don't think taking on shading is a good idea at the moment.
Also, the month of November is now Pawvember over here. Any commission that is paw focused will be eligible for a 10% discount. Additionally, I'm really in the mood to draw Paw Patrol characters, so commissions involving that will also get the 10% discount. (Note: the discounts do not stack. A paw focused Paw Patrol picture still only receives a 10% discount)
Reminder that my prices will increase next year, so this is a chance to get something for the current rates.
Prices per character are as follows:
Digital Sketch:
Headshot: $10 Halfbody: $15 Fullbody: $20
Page of 5 sketches: $60
*This is a page of five individual sketches. They can be of one character or of multiple, but they are separate 1 character
images so they will not be interacting with each other and backgrounds are not available for this kind of commission. Color
of lines varies or can be requested.
Lineart:
Headshot: $15 Halfbody: $20 Fullbody: $25
Flat color:
Headshot: $25 Halfbody: $30 Fullbody: $35
Mawshot:
Sketch: $15 Lineart: $20 Flat color: $30
Backgrounds, complex characters/poses, and add-ons may be subject to additional complexity fees
Reminder of will do's and won't do's
Will do:
Anthro
Feral
OCs
Pokémon
Digimon
MLP
Most other fanart
Male Bondage
Mawshots/Vore
Pinups (as long as they aren't too explicitly lewd)
Dakimakura designs (depending on the pose)
Feet/Paws
Macro/micro
Chubby/Fat (within reason)
Tickling
Cub (SFW)
Might do:
Humans (not very experienced with them, but I can give them a shot depending on my mood)
Will not do:
Explicit nudity/porn
Scat/Watersports
Vehicles (again, not good with them)
Unrealistic Fatfur
Diaper/Babyfur
If interested, please send a note. Any questions can be asked in the comments.
Slots are unlimited for now but that can change depending on a number of things.

Commissions will open again next week. Also, Pawvember?
Posted 3 years agoHey all,
Like the title says, planning on taking on more commissions next week now that I finally got my queue down to only one left. Prices will remain the same for now, but they will be increasing a bit come January. So, this will be the last chance to get one at the current rates. Don't know when in the week they will open. Gonna have to think about that, so keep an eye open if you're interested. Number of slots are to be determined right now. Have to see how things go. Most likely unlimited unless things get way out of hand lol.
Also, I'll be holding a special commission event for the month of November. Pawvember! Basically, any commission that is paw focused will be eligible for a 10% discount. Additionally, I'm really in the mood to draw Paw Patrol characters, so commissions involving that will also get the 10% discount. (Note: the discounts do not stack. A paw focused Paw Patrol picture still only receives a 10% discount) I just thought that this would be a fun thing to do. Similar to the Goretober event I did last year. I think I'm going to try to do more of these special events from time to time. We'll see.
Well, that's the deal.

An Invitation
Posted 3 years agoHello all,
Tomorrow is National Back to Church Sunday, so I just though I’d post this quick journal as an invite to join the service of the church I attend. Just in case anyone is interested. The service will be streamed on the church’s YouTube channel linked here: https://m.youtube.com/c/HeritageCom.....hurch/featured

Commissions will soon be closing temporarily
Posted 3 years agoSo, long story short, August really hasn’t been a productive month for me. Kept having distractions, interruptions, and dips in motivation. As such, my work on commissions ended up being slower that it usually is, and recent additions to my queue has inflated it to a point where I have to come to this decision.
At the end of August, I will be closing commissions until I get my to do list down to around 3 or so. Don’t know how long that will be, to be honest, but I will do my best to get things done as quickly as I can. Until then, I will still be taking commissions (up to 3 or 5 more) for any who are interested.
Lineart only, though.
If you do choose to commission, keep in mind that my queue is currently pretty large, and that I’m not the fastest artist when it comes to turnaround time. Add in a current 9-5 job, and that slows things down even more. Just a heads up and full disclosure for any who are interested. I do my best to keep customers updated on progress and any delays, and I always keep the progress of my queue up to date on my page.
Another bit of information is that I’m considering a slight increase to my prices when I open up again, but that is still up in the air. We’ll see.

900 Watchers!!!
Posted 3 years agoIt's a bit late, but I hit the 900 Watcher milestone earlier in the month. Haven't been able to get to posting this until now because my new job and other work keeps me busy. Thanks to all of you who have stuck around, viewed my stuff, favorited, commented, commissioned, and all that jazz. Would probably not still be on here for this long without some of you. Here's to the next step in success :D
Only 97 to go until I hit that sweet 1000 mark. I'll probably be doing something special of some sort when that happens.
Thank you all once again. Hope you all are doing okay.
And I thank God for allowing me this much success, as relatively small as it is. As with all blessings, to Him be the glory.

It’s tough, guys.
Posted 3 years agoGonna try to keep this short.
Basically, with the new job, my motivation to draw has really taken a hit. I have finally gotten my queue down to a more manageable level, so I think it’s as good a time as any to get a little rest in so I don’t suffer a massive burnout like I did earlier. I have decided that I’m going to take the rest of the week to step away from art (will return to it on Saturday). Gonna take these next few days to recharge and focus on other things, such as writing. After that, I’m going to smack myself back into gear and go headlong into progressing to get owed work done. God willing.
To all who are waiting on things from me, I appreciate your patience thus far.

Looking for Character Suggestions for Paw Pics
Posted 3 years agoI have a couple of unfinished poses sketched out for pics of the paw variety, but I don't have characters assigned to them yet, and I'm having trouble deciding who to draw for them. So, I'm asking any paw lovers out there for suggestions. I'll pick a few among them that I think could fit the poses I have. No OCs, feral only, since the poses are as such. Male or female are both acceptable. Canine is preferred because they will fit the poses better, but feline is also possible.
Feel free to suggest as many as you want (though, probably don't overdo it XP)
I may also pic some to consider drawing in the future as well.

Update 2: Life is Changing
Posted 3 years agoHey, so I'm going to try to keep this brief so there is not a wall of text to go through like the last one.
Point is, I recently landed a temporary job that's going to be going on for at least 3 months. Starting Tuesday, it will be taking up most of my time during the week, so time working on art will be drastically decreased during that time period. I don't want to stop art completely, but I'm going to have to work around this bigger obligation. I will do my best to develop a schedule that still allows for drawing at least somewhat so I can still get stuff up for you guys. Still brainstorming it, but I'll figure it out.
Regarding commissions, I will still be working through my queue when I can, and I will still be taking commissions. It will just come with the disclaimer that the wait time will be longer than usual. I appreciate the patience of those who are still waiting. I am doing my best to get things done. I just have so much to juggle at the moment, but I'm getting through it little by little.
Patreon will still be active for the time being, though I'm most likely going to change the tier rewards up a little.
Apologies for no uploads last month. I just felt like I needed to build up a backlog so I can keep the upload routine going in the future. Monthly uploads will return for now, though, sometimes it will be 5 rather than 10. Stay tuned for some uploads tomorrow, if all goes well. Normally, I upload the last Saturday of the month, but I am probably going to have to drop off my computer to be fixed over the weekend, so it's going to have to be tomorrow instead.
That's it for now. I'll keep you guys updated if anything else changes.

Update
Posted 3 years agoSo, my break away from art is over, so now it's time to go back to work.
The problem is, after trying to draw today, I found that I'm still having trouble drawing stuff. It feels almost like something just sucked the skill and techniques out of me. I don't know if it is all in my head and I'm just trying to do too much or what, but it's concerning me. I can't really afford another break, nor do I really want to take one. I want to draw. It's just harder for me right now for whatever reason. So. There are going to be some changes coming to adapt to my current situation.
1. Regarding Commissions.
I'm still going to be working on them, don't worry. I know progress has been slower than usual for an extended period of time, but I want any of you who are waiting on stuff that I am trying. It's probably going to be slow going for the foreseeable future, but I'm going to be doing the best I can to chip away at progress whenever I can. Before, I used to work on one to three commissions at a time, dealing with my queue that way. But right now, there is a lot that I have to juggle. My queue is probably the largest it has ever been. With the trouble I'm having on art, I don't feel like I can afford to spend time devoted to a few pics at a time. So, I'm going to be working on a bunch of commissions little by little, in no particular order. If I hit a snag on one, that way I can just shift and make progress on some others in order to hopefully knock some items out. For those of you who have lineart commissions or higher, once the rough sketch phase is done, progress should speed up.
I will also be adding work for Patreon and personal stuff into the mix as well. Just having a whole bunch of stuff in progress at once rather than focusing on a few at once like I used to. I know it might sound a bit counterintuitive, but from my perspective, it really is the better option for me right now in terms of progress.
I just ask for your patience as I deal with this current predicament. Believe me. I wish it was different.
2. Regarding Uploading:
As some of you may have noticed, I used to do monthly uploads in batches of 10 pictures, but over the past 2 months I've only uploaded 5. The reason for this goes in line with the above and the reason I took a break. Drawing has been slowed down, so I have been reducing the number of pics per upload in order to try building up a backlog to eventually get back into the 10 pic uploads without stressing about producing 10 each month. I have a fair number of art sitting around waiting to upload as part of that backlog, but it's not a big enough safety net yet.
Even uploading 5 takes away from the backlog by a significant amount at the rate things are going. So, unfortunately, I have decided that there will be no art posted this month. Monthly posting will resume in April, but for March, I just want to focus on compiling that backlog that I've been trying to get. Art will still be posted to Patreon, so if you would like to see any art that I manage to get done during this month (as well as stuff not yet posted here yet), my Patreon can be found here:

3. Regarding schedule
My old schedule was as follows:
Monday: Personal art/Commission lining or coloring
Tuesday: Commission work
Wednesday: Commission Work
Thursday: Commission Work
Friday: Personal art
Saturday: Patreon work
This is going to be changed. Now, Monday - Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday are going to just be scheduled as "art days" where I work on anything I can make progress on like stated in the first section. Thursday's I'm going to be taking time to work on some writing projects that I've been wanting to get going including a Fantasy novel that I've been working on gradually. I really want to make writing become something that I periodically post (not as regular as art, but more often than "once in a blue moon"). It's what I went to college for, and what I like to do, it's just that art has been where the money is so to speak. Hoping to start getting some stories and projects off the ground. Don't know who would be interested in that, but it's something that I want to do to fulfill myself.
Thinking about also offering story commissions at some point, but that all depends on interest. Let me know if that is something you would be interested in.
Well, that's about it for now. Sorry for the long post.

I didn’t want to do this but...
Posted 3 years agoI think I need a break. Ever since the new year started, it has been taking longer and longer for me to finish a drawing. I am having a lot of trouble getting things to look right and up to my usual standards. Commission progress has been a lot slower than I would like, and I’m sorry for that. I don’t want to take time away, because it will delay commissions even further, but I think it’s what I need right now. I feel so burnt out. I get tired halfway through my art time, and sometimes I get a lot of anxiety simply sitting down to start working. Add on some computer issues (I swear, if it’s not one thing it’s another with that thing) and it’s just a lot of stress that I need to unwind from.
I’m going to take a week off from artwork starting tomorrow. I’ll pick things up again next Saturday or so. Sorry to those who are still waiting. I’m hoping after taking this break to refresh, things will start moving a bit faster.
Really. I hope so. Because I don’t know what I’m going to do if it doesn’t.
Thank you for your patience.

Computer Troubles
Posted 4 years ago(Posting this from phone)
So my computer randomly decided it was going to be a b**** and not work properly. Don’t know what’s going on, but commissions and other artwork is obviously on hold until it gets it’s freaking act together. Sorry.
