So some of you might not know.
Posted 12 years agoI fancy myself something of a writer. I did NaNoWriMo last year, and hit the goal. I'm doing it again this year. As of the posting of this journal, I am sitting at 26,731 words, with 23,279 words left to pull off by the 30th of November.
So I suppose I'm putting this here as a reminder to me, and something of a self-pep talk.
You're halfway done with your novel, Marcus. Don't lose your energy now. If you need to write different scenes in a different order, do it. No one says the novel has to be -done- by the 30th. It just needs to be over 50,000 words. So keep at it, keep writing, don't get discouraged, and don't let anything stop you.
And if you do stop, you're going to look back at this journal and kick yourself in the face every time you read it.
So I suppose I'm putting this here as a reminder to me, and something of a self-pep talk.

Posted 12 years agoRumor has it there is hacker on FA, hacking people and blocking our friends to make them block us. You'll then be banned from FA.
Write the same warning in your journal to protect not only yourself but everyone! Here's another warning: If I'm being a jerk, saying stuff like "Shut up", "Get lost" or "I don't want to see you on my homepage anymore", that's not really me. That's the hacker.
Write all of this down in your journal too!
Please do this, it's for the safety of everyone!

Posted 13 years agoSo, for the three people I've got watching me, I decided I'd like some input. I haven't been doing much writing lately. In that I mean 'not at all'. So. I was reading over a skyrim forum, and someone was doing something rather novel. Writing 'journal entries' from the perspective of their Wood Elf character. So I was pondering perhaps doing the same for one of my Khajiiti characters. Maybe. So to that end, I figured I'd ask who you all would be more interested in hearing about.
Ja'Harik, a psychopathic vampire Khajiit who only ended up saving the world from the dragon-based apocalypse solely because -he- enjoys screwing around in said world, and thus had no intention of letting Alduin mess up such a sweet deal.
Deeji, a fairly compassionate Archer-Ranger type, who got mixed up in something far too grand for her liking. She generally let's her moral compass guide her. After growing into the role of the Dragonborn, she goes from thinking this is all far too much to expect of someone like her, to being the Hero that Skyrim needs.
I may make other characters as well. Maybe even a request, if preferred. But Ja'Harik and Deeji are going to be the main antagonist and protagonist respectively, of the upcoming Dawnguard expansion. With Ja'Harik becoming a Vampire Lord, and Deeji joining the Dawnguard to oppose said Vampire Lords.
So. What think? It was an idea which sparked in me the small flame of inspiration!
