My kitchen's 40kg window fell on me. Ouch.
Posted 5 years agoNo need to put too much detail into this, but basically my kitchen's window became far too heavy for those tiny hinges holding it for over 60 years... and it fell down on me just as I opened it today.
Tried to slow its fall, so my feet dodged the impact, but my drawing left hand got cut by the sharp plastic corner, when trying to hold it.
Nothing too serious nor painful, but I clearly need to let it recover and commissions will sadly be delayed. >n<
I'm sorry for all of those in my commission queue, I can't wait to resume work as soon as I can take these bandages out. Streaming might even return!

Since I've not been posting anything lately on my page whatsoever I started to feel quite obligated to at least open up a new page in my journal.
So, in fact, barely anything was done with PanFTR's Glaceon since the last time I streamed it a bit. Furthermore, I tend to get lazy about willing to resume it.
But that doesn't mean I was doing NOTHING. Actually, even if we take away the fact that University takes me even more time than Highschool used to ( don't think about the American school system automatically, since I'm not from this country and you know how each country deals differently with school ),
i did some other kind of contraptions. Some of the geeks among you guys might have heard of Super Mario 64 Online, right? Well you might think it was dead, Nintendo killed it etc... but actually no, and Kaze Emanuar, it's creator along with me and a few other people are still developing it for future features, such as PVP, tag mode or Prop Hunt, all in SM64. My personal implication as of right now is a custom map for the PVP mode as well as trying to turn Pokemons into playable characters ( Even tho I need to redo everything from the start for some technical reasons, I did a successful import of Treecko in SM64 ). And that's time consuming. When not only you have to model, paint and design your 3D models in the Nintendo 64's limitations, but you have to understand the tools hackers made for that and a bit a programing. But I'm really motivated into finishing this! We might even see more characters in the future for SM64... Fursonas I'm looking at you... ;)
But for now you can just say that Glaceon is on hold but I'll more than likely resume its development in the near future, because I just can't let a cutie like this stay unfinished. And he/she wants to taste Pan so bad ^w^...
Well, glad I got this written, sometimes I just get lazy to do these simple things. Yawn.

The (not really) bad news is that since I'm now in University I have far less free time than before to do art 'n stuff. But the GOOD NEWS, is that i've purchased a brand new laptop to work with, but who's quite powerful and able to stream and play heavy games. And since it's a LAPTOP, i can now work again on my FA account from my room. And guess what:
I've re-installed Flash 8 and other things. This means that INDEED I'm making a new monsta for Barb/PanFTR ( I haven't decided yet which one should I work on )
Expect some streams to come where I'll eventually unveil what I started making. I hope to see you guys again in there soon!

An unexpected hiatus :/ - Extra infos/update

Sorry I haven't been posting stuff for weeks, I've been in the middle of exams ans then right after that the computer I mainly used for drawing, scanning and posting art somehow died and we managed to revive it under Linux. Hopefully with a Windows Virtual machine I might have a chance to resume Flash animating ( I personally have a few ideas I can't wait to try :D ).
However I still won't post things as fast as I've been doing before, because there will still be some parts of my holidays where I will not be able to take care of my FA stuff.
This said, here's something else to discuss: I am soon going to reach 100 watchers, and I want to THANK YOU ALOT for this great support.
With this in mind, I want to know from you guys, down in the comments, what you like the most in my stuff, and what would you want to see from me in the future.
I want to make sure my main work appeals to the most of you :)

Making Barb/PanFtr content from Linux?

You guys probably noticed that one of the only reasons my account exists ( and got some unexpected popularity back in time ) is to create monsters for
Alsnapz 's Barb or PanFtr. But unlucky me, I've made so far only one and it lacks content. And it gets worse with the loss of an old HDD ( by that I mean it is ded ) I cannot continue working on my only monster, unless I want to redraw half the animations on a December 2015 backup.
But anyway this isn't why I came for. See, since July 2016 my laptop died out of short-circuit ( I've been helplessly trying to isolate the keyboard's ribbon from the motherboard otherwise no buttons would work ), I'm almost computerless. All I have now is a tiny 8 years old laptop with Xubuntu installed. As I'm desperate to find anything to resume animating monsters, I just began to search for Linux compatible programs that can turn my work into swf files with actionscript, and I found "Ella" ( Elegant Light Linux Animator ).
It seems to do what I need it for but cannot test it right now at all this stuff requires the admin rights that I lack. I wanted to know if any of you guys run Linux aswell and would bother give Ella a try and tell me if Barb/Pan would support swf exported from that program? So I would be sure I'm about to ask for the installation of the right program. If you guys think of anything better, please let me know!

Memories of Vore

Watching this show made me wonder what was the first media containing vore I ever saw.
Duh, its hard to remember. But I've got this:
An apocalyptic Dinasaur movie ( no idea about the name ) where you got a scene when someguy is inside what looks like public toilets ( a small cabin ) and then a huge 10-15 meters high T-rex drawns in and somehow the power of his stomps ( he's just approaching ) is enough to make the cabin's wall fall apart like a wooden crate would break apart in Crash Bandicoot. No more surprises here, the T-rex notices the man who can can't believe what he sees and then get quickly grabbed and gulped down. Also, it was happening at night.
If someone could help me figuring out what was that movie, I would be really grateful, thanks :)
( I'm pretty sure I watched it aged 3-5, yeah I was young, and I can tell that I already looked at this scene with a different eye than non-furries. in other terms, even though this was certainly a 12+ age limited movie, it wasn't scary at all to me, and that's how it happened for any media containing vore I saw/played after that. )
And you, what was the first thing vore-related you ever saw as deep as your memory goes?
Now I'm even getting curious how us humans happen to either born with it, or to become furry with particular events in our early days/months of life. I wonder if any people made researches and studies about it. If you heard of such people, could you tell me? :p

Posted 9 years agoDamnit, we are in May already and I haven't done any other monster for Barb. I suck :/
But to be honest, I'm kinda lazy to imagine a new original monster... let's say I'm not much creative for that.
Do you guys have any ideas, or wish to have a particuliar monster for BarbFTR? I would gladly make from OCs in priority.
Otherwise, I'll scratch my brain, over and over...

I just don't want to expect things that will surely not happen, so best thing to do is not thinking about it.
However, I hope that people who's Valentines Day matters will have a great day. On my side, I'll share my affection with that SNES I bought ( For 64 euros lol ) a couple days ago... I'm probably weird for some people, but keep in mind you are always weird for someone in this Planet.
