Started thinkin about how I sometimes see 2D artists get into doing 3D, and theeen eventually all they do is 3D.

Wonder if I have watchers who are disappointed I'm just uploading 3D stuff and not drawn stuff? I wouldn't be surpriced x3 I can't see the future, but for now I don't really see me completely switching to 3D happening. But yeah 3D kinda gives me a way to do sooomething when it comes to being creative, when drawing is being frustrating and not working out.

Those who've been following me for a long time know that I often dump a bunch of pics in a short-ish period of time, but then I don't upload a thing for next like half a year xd It's cos drawing is at times heccin frustrating to me, I'm too much of a perfectionist so when things just don't work I just gsdfgdfgjdfl die inside. But uh yeah, 3D stuff has kinda been giving me a way to do atleast sooomething furry art wise when drawing juuuust isn't working out.

Anyway uh yeah, what I'm trying to say is, is that I'll definitely be uploading drawn stuff when I get some done again x3 I don't plan on replacing my art with 3D.

So hey, any big Road Rovers fans in my watchbase? I'm gonna be adjusting their heights slightly, how would you rank Hunter Exile and Blitz in height? I'm thinkin Blitz > Hunter > Exile, buuuut yeah, what do you guys think?

I'm kiiinda thinkin about trying to do 3D models for Road Rovers (anthro forms), I haven't done a full on human shaped character before (that Gaomon is kiiinda close) and I'm a bit worried of how things will go haha, so hey, wondering if there's anyone who'd like to collab? Kinda send the model files back and forth, work on stuff together, improve stuff the other has made, etc. We could keep the models either private afterwards ooor make em public. I'm probably not looking for full on pros here, buuut yeah I do require that you've made models from the scratch before and know how to handle Blender for the basic modelling stuff. Also yeah, looking for active communication through Discord or Telegram so that the project won't drag along too slow.

I'm looking to make:
-Models with Blender, or in .FBX (or some other) format that works between our programs
-Exile, Hunter, and Blitz. Probably the same body for all three, atleast for the start
-Cartoony models, close to the original look of the series. Strong but cute looking doggo studs~
-Low-ish poly, I don't use sculpting tools and don't do well with super high-poly stuff
-Flat textures, using topology to mark the seams of colors and so on
-Models that work with MMD (MikuMikuDance). I think it's pretty close to what .FBX can handle. Relatively video-gamey builds

I by myself am up to completely handle:
-UV stuff and textures
-Conversion to MMD

I'd prolly need help with:
-Checking and improving stuff. Are fingers aligned and shaped right, are the snoots and ears of the characters the right size, do some bits require denser topology, etc
-Colleen, I can help with making her but I don't wanna make her all by myself. Could probably edit her from the base of one of the guys? But yeah, I definitely wanna make the guys first and foremost
-Armor, I'm not sure if I wanna make naked or armored models or both? Kinda leaning towards just armor, but if both I'm gonna need help, especially cos of:
-Weight painting, it's kinda painful xd I struggle with this the most
-Shape keys for face control
-Material settings for Blender. I'm mostly used to just doing that stuff for MMD

I got Road Rovers on DVD, I haven't watched too many of the episodes (yet another case of me liking characters more than the series they come from haha) but yeah could grab some screenshots or whatever for reference, incase some stuff shows up that can't be found online. Stiiiill yeah, if my partner likes it I'm definitely more comfortable calling them names than having them call me names. Still, even I don't go that far with this stuff, or atleast haven't gone that far so far.

Overall I'm definitely more into respect, understanding each other, and positive dirty talk, as opposed to degrading or humiliation (especially verbal). J-pop/Vocaloid - inabakumori - Lagtrain

This was the first song I found from inabakumori, and yeah I think like many I too have kinda... moved on from Vocaloid music x3 still, this is super nice, Kaai Yuki's voice seems to work super well and is nicely unique from the more common Vocaloid soundbanks like Hatsune Miku and Luka and so on. Another song by inabakumori! I listened to this for the first time only a few days ago, but hecc this too has a super nice feel to it x3 haven't checked what the song is about, but hell to me it's all about how a song sounds like. There's even been cases when I've been listening to a finnish song but haven't really listened to the words at aaaall, only to have someone else mention how dumb the words are haha



J-pop - Frederic & Akiko Wada - Yona yona dance

This has been my feel-good song for a good while now! Music and lyrics are pure Frederic, about just feeling good and wanting to dance, and heck Akiko Wada's voice just works super well with this! I was really surpriced to find that the singer is an older woman, ofcourse it doesn't really matter but yeah with the nature of the music video and the style of the song itself I was surpriced! Anyway, super good song, I wanna sing this with someone and just dance the night away without a care in the world x3



J-pop - Frederic - Sukiraism

I mentioned Frederic already so hecc I suppose I gotta link something fully from there too! There's sooo many songs I like from them, Oddloop, Rererepeat, Only wonder, Hello Good, Owarase night, Nightstep, Togenkyo, Kitaku beats... but yeah hey yeah, figured I'd link Sukiraism here. The way the chorus doesn't go all the way first time around, and eventually does, heeeellyeah it feels so gooood, kinda like with Simple & Clean where the "hoooold meeee whatever lies beyond this morning" doesn't come up when the chorus plays the first time. But yeah, all of Frederic's songs have such a good vibe to them!

First watched/listened this one only cos of the thumbnail's furry character interesting me to click, super glad I did. Honestly the videoside of this kinda shocked me the first time around and I've been feeling myself slipping towards what shows up in the vid (I'm not good at handling life lol), but yeah, I just love a bunch of things about both the video and the song itself. It sounds goooood, the video and lyrics hit me, aaand... yeah, the artist makes other good music too, I definitely gotta listen to more stuff from them x3

Just a nice christmas song from currently-my-fave-non-japanese-artist Dadi. Me like many others have noticed that christmas just seems to get lamer and lamer the more you age, but I really want to try and keep a hold of it's magic and the happiness it brings, positive things like that are important to me. I've had my dragon character/almostfursona thing as my avatar for the longest time, switched back to fox again x3 now if only I could change my name without changing my account...

But uh yeah, I don't draw my fox fursona that often, like uh almost at all. He's kinda "boring" and I just wanna draw buff studs~ but I mean, he's absolutely me, I don't wanna change anything about him x3 I know people have different views on what a fursona should be, for some it's a cooler character they wanna be, a better version of themselves, or maybe a side of themselves they wanna amplify and bring out more. -Weakness: Unrealistic - I've definitely noticed some of this in myself, hopes and dreams too big, hoping things just work out even though shit's rough and shouldn't honestly realistically work, and so on

-Weakness: Self-Isolating - "Mediators long to connect with others, but they don’t always know how" is definitely meeee. Definitely an introvert, I do really wanna connect with others and form strong friendships but I'm just not good at it, feels awkward or forced or whatever, dunno how to be natural. And yeah, then I just don't really approach anyone (atleast not privately) aaand eh yeah. Definitely feel lonely and isolated pretty often, I don't really mind it (me-time is comfy) but ehhh yeah.

-Weakness: Unfocused - this is meeee, too many projects (and dropped projects). Honestly, the way the website has this written is 100% me.

-Weakness: Emotionally Vulnerable - I think random people's negativity etc doesn't catch onto me that easily, but eh yeah if it's about friends I definitely catch their moods easily. This is pretty much just the same thing as "Empathetic" but in a bad light

-Weakness: Desperate to Please - Rarely honestly. But absolutely when it's about a relationship partner, I just want the other to feel good, man ;___; when I've done something wrong to a bf I'm the one who will keep repeating "I'm sorry" aaaall day

-Weakness: Self-Critical - goes with "Unfocused". You see this most with how rarely I post here sometimes, when I've once been able to draw something great I compare aaaall my future art to that, when I don't succeed in making another good piece I just haaate myself lmao. Perfectionism is horrible xd


I also read a lil bit of that "Romantic Relationships" bit on the website but so far I'm not sure if I agree with it. Will read more and uuuh yeah guess we'll see if I make another journal about it huh? (edit: now that I'm reading it, yeah there's definitely some truth there)

It feels like reporting stolen art is useless now, atleast if the art in question isn't from the one reporting (as in, if I report art I know is stolen from someone else). What's the point of even having a section in Upload Policy about users only being allowed to post art made by them or for them (or, with permission) if it's not being reinforced in any way? Might aswell delete that point lol

I once reported some photos stolen from other websites, got a response but it was basically "oh well yeah the one who own the rights need to do the reporting" and the photos stayed up and the user in question didn't get a warning or anything. Right now there's an user who posts Patreon-exclusive art from others, I've reported them almost two months ago now, the trouble ticket got switched to another reporting category buuut that's been it so far, I'm guessing absolutely nothing will happen to it or the user in question next.

So uh yeah, I guess uploading stuff from artists who won't be around to report is all good. Might aswell make an account and upload all of Karabiner's old art or something. I don't feel like alerting the staff anymore when I find users doing something like that.

Yeah uuh holy shit 15 years here?? I've been registered here for more than half my life lmao x3 Before FA I was on DA but only for a year or something. I even had a Sheezyart account for a lil while, and when Furry Art Pile was a thing I was there too. 33-35 - tailmon trilogy
38 - a good episode for yamato & gabumon
45 - metalgarurumon first appearance
48 - mugendramon battle
50 - millenniumon battle
54 - the best filler episode
67 - the final battle

You might also wanna watch episode 66, though the animation in that one is kinda lackluster, the highly detailed mega digimon are barely animated in it xd

Overall the absolute best episodes are the big battles, 24, 50, and 67.

Episode 9 and episode 54 work pretty well as a combo too, they both tell about Orgemon and what happened to him after episode 9.



There's more episodes I semi-recommend too, thooough some of these are recommended only for like 1 or 2 good moments in the episode:

Not much nor do I have much to write about this dream either, but yeah had a dream in which FA held some sorta "Werewolf Weekend" online event. Artists were asked to draw werewolves during that time, and FA hosted a stream showcasing everything werewolf related, from like movie clips I think to people drawing. All I did in the dream was sit on my computer with snacks and drinks all set up lmao, but yeah I did think about drawing Bernard from OK K.O!

My current pet peeve in furry art: artists drawing Shirou Oogami with wrong fur patterns ;__; one would've thought that furries know how to draw him by now, but they still get him wrong. It might be that I myself like to get things as accurate as possible (struggled with the patterns for my Feral Jon pic cos of this) so it bothers me, but eegdfghdf

Anyway, Shirou's body isn't two-toned, it's all white. He only has turquoise fur on his head, hair, and the end portion of the tail. You can see him naked in the last episode (12) of BNA and in some earlier episodes too, but yeah the last ep got the best ref for him in full.

I don't mind if artists use each other's ways of drawing a character if there's no official ref, like uh I mentioned Jon Talbain and we've never seen how his fur patterns go below his mid section so there's many ways fans do his patterns, but yeeah in Shirou's case there IS official material to take lead from to get him drawn accurately.

Got and watched the movie finally! It was pretty aaalright overall, like 7/10 kind of alright, the evil-wolf-bro-Scar-whatever kinda made me think of Eggman at times designwise, lol. The model quality for human characters was kinda outdated (except for the icecream man), buuuut hey the animals were more important for the movie anyway, the wolves especially looked gooooood~ x3

The biggest problem with the movie is definitely the amount of characters, they don't get enough screentime or complete their small character arcs. I watched The Incredibles a day later, aaand yeeeah the problems with 100% Wolf really shined through (in a bad way obvs). We got (with ways to fix things):

-Asshole ginger kids. They bully, they randomly decide to dye main character's hair, aaaand then they are dropped from the movie. They suddenly reappear at the end "yeah we were locked in the attic :)" There's nothing fun about the characters.
---How to fix: Kids can be and are assholes and doesn't need a specific reason IRL, buuut for a movie, make their motivation to do their bullshit clearer. I don't remember if they were the kids of the main wolf villain? But that would make alot of sense, the main wolf villain wants to keep his position as the leader, the main character's an obstacle for that. Another way to fix these characters is just to delete them lmao, worst characters in the movie

-The dog capture duo. They were given some emphasis trying to capture one of the main dogs, buuut then they were pushed back to be background characters.
---How to fix: Eeeither just give them more screentime/dialogue, or replace either one of them with the dog-wig-scientist lady I'll mention next.

-The dog-wig-scientist lady. She holds a dog kennel and plots a scheme to turn dogs into wigs with the main wolf villain (wolves hate dogs in this movie). Honestly not a bad character, she gets alot of screentime, but her own personal motivations aren't really explained... I guess her being bald is her main motivation?
---How to fix: Give her a monologue or a song or something where she makes her motivation and plot crystal clear

-The ice cream man, honestly one of the best characters in the movie. Wolves (or uh, werewolves) try to stay hidden while being sort of superheroes in a city of humans, buuut this guy witnessed a werewolf years back and has been on a hunt ever since. He also stole a moonstone thing that glows near them. Throughout the movie he picks up clues and finally finds out who the werewolves are. Pretty neat!
---How to fix: He has a weird monkey plushie thing he speaks with like crazy person. Maybe do something else? It wasn't the charming. Maybe the the plushie has a voice box instead, Buzz's "inner voice" or whatever worked well in Toy Story 4. Also, he could have some sorta rivalry or relationship with the dog-wig-scientist lady.

BASICALLY, there's too many villains and they aren't fleshed out well enough (except for the ice cream man) and it bothers me. Most of the villains are in some related to the main wolf villain, could've just simplified things or whatever. The problem kinda persists with some story elements too:

-What's the moonstone again? Just a wacky stone that glows near werewolves?
---How to fix: Make it be a key to turning into a werewolf first time around, or something. I thouuuught that was the case but whoops no it isn't! Or maybe it is??? It wasn't communicated super well. Bad MacGuffin.

-There's a scene straight from Bolt where a character teaches the main character how to be a dog. We're introduced to smell-o-vision where one can sniff and then kinda "see" what's been there, the main character sees seethrough dogs PISSING on the street, all like "wow I can smell everyone...!" It's never brought back, even tho there was a couple of spots where it would've been useful and neat.
---How to fix: Don't show it's a thing, or bring it back. I know the scent thing is just in a quick "how to be a dog" montage, but it aaalso kinda showed up earlier, when the main character first went into the city.

Eyyy here's somewhat of a pointless journal about things I like (and dislike, but trying to concentrate on what I like) about bunch of different furry art sites I've used. On top of what I list here I've also used Furry art pile if anyone remembers that one (I barely do), aaaand I haven't even touched FurryNetwork. I've just found myself thinkin about what good I find on each site so hah yeah wanted to write this stuff out x3



Furaffinity - the "it works" section:
-I'm real happy those popular-categories are coming! Adding visibility to artists new or popular is always great.
-Being able to disable notes is awesome. I wonder if they could make it so that you can still note others and then they can respond via notes even if they are disabled... ooor maybe the system already works like that?
-The "Commissions" tab was such a great but simple addition. I wish the same page also had a toggle/view for if commissions are open or closed (for each category). A little "payment options" box could be neat too.
-Honestly everything just works pretty well here, buuut yeah it's all rather... well, outdated and barebones, not as much as it used to be, but still. Hoping for a proper group system, name change system, and maybe multi-file submissions.


Twitter - the "fame for a day" section:
-Great for getting attention and visibility even if it's often only momentary
-Doesn't work as a gallery - it's can be super difficult to find out what an artist makes overall if they only use Twitter and half their posts are like pics of their cat or lunch or whatever


Deviantart - the "it used to be good" section:
-Whiiiile I don't really like DA nowadays, I gotta admit the front page does quite well find images I'm interested in seeing. Whatever neural network system they use to figure out what stuff I like seems to work pretty well honestly.
-Groups used to be great - watch a group, go to watch/new submissions page to see what new stuff there's to see (now you need to check em individually and it suuucks).
-Gallery folders still work great. There's a basic view you can decide what shows up in, and there's an "All" view that just shows everything. Sofurry lacks this "All" button and I hate it lmao
-Watchers only submissions, while sounding great on paper, suck, since you can just watch an artist, check the submission and instantly unwatch.
-Page customization, even though worse than it once was, is pretty great. You can reorganize the boxes your site has, remove/add them, and so on.
-Thumbs were amazing. Why did they get removed??
-When watching someone you used to be able to toggle what material you wanted to see. You could, for example, not follow someone's journals. This feature too, was ofcourse removed.


Sofurry - the "it sounds neat but doesn't work as expected" section:
-The groups system of this site (at times called Pools) is simple to use when you want to add your image to multiple groups, but unfortunately groups are almost useless since there isn't any sort of "watch this group" button or a "new submissions in groups you watch" view.
-Market - a dedicated place to advertise buying/selling art is nice, but it's... eh, well the whole system feels like it's a big WIP. Can also be abused, whenever you update your request it's bumped back to the top of the listings.
-Being able to add tags to images by others is great, same with Inkbunny
-Realtime notifications is great. Inkbunny might also have them...? Not sure.
-Characters -system, while kiiinda hidden and such, is pretty neat. It's like a lightweight version of F-list but hey, it does the job.


Inkbunny - the "hey wow these features are real nice" section:
-Multi file/image submission is biiiiig, I love this feature
-Related: Being able to upload a .zip file with all the files you wanna upload into a single submission is really great.
-"Block guests" setting for submissions is nice, on FA I need to set pics as Mature if I wanna do that
-Keyword suggestions is great, same with Sofurry
-Being able to block keywords is also great. Like uh, most know that Inkbunny allows all that cub stuff, buuut you can just block away most of it by blocking the right keywords.
-Being able to hide submissions without deleting them completely is nice.


Weasyl - the "thumbnail creator is cool" section:
-Thumbnail creator thing is amazing, while uploading a pic you can then crop a section to use as a thumbnail, fast and easy


Sooo uh, what would my dream website be?
-Frontpage with new, recommended, popular, and maybe "random from 24 hours" sections
-Quick to browse "new from artists/groups you watch" section with hopefully a couple of settings to view everything in bulk, or seperated by artists or groups.
-Easy to use groups. Something like a mix of Sofurry and Deviantart (old DA specifically). Could have closed and open groups to make everyone happy with what's offered.
-Bunch of settings when uploading a submission (from ratings to tags to visibility), multifile submissions.
-Scheduled submissions, I'm a big fan of this on YT atleast.
-A nice keyword and category system to find stuff what you're interested in.
-Integration to other sites, for example being able to show your Twitter feed and Discord/Telegram groups on your page.
-Some sorta stream notification, WIP, and reminder system to keep that stuff away from regular feeds. Maybe there could be some type of sub-submissions so you don't need to upload a completely seperate thing for each reminder.
-Toggles for when you watch an artist on what you want to follow. Maybe you could "super-watch" someone too, which would make their new material show up on the frontpage, or something like that.
-There could be bunch of other features too, buuuut the emphasis I feel should be on visibility for all artists, and on the other hand on being able to follow the artists you really want to follow x3

Plot is probably alright but executed poorly, things are rushed and not explained completely, and not all digimon have a proper digivolution scene. The whole series has this overall ehhh feel to it compared to the original, just like Dragonball Super had compared to Z.

Buuut like with Dragonball Super there's some amaaazing moments, and the full proper digivolution scenes that are there are really damn good! Music is also super good. And there's alot of Weregarurumon in the series, so that's more than enough for me to keep watching~

My FA name comes from Master + XVmon, thaaat's Exveemon but in japanese and finnish versions

The "Master" bit I remember taking from "MasterTyrannomon", some Digi that appeared in the original PS1 Digimon games. I was a kid and pretty much thought "what a cool name prefix" or whatever, kinda like there's Metal- Were- War- Kaiser- etc. Master I guess sounded cool to me soooo hey slapped in that in front of XVmon, I didn't really think of the meaning of the word back then (note, I'm not a native english speaker)

Now my FA name is criiiinge but I'll manage with it haha x3
