Seriously though. There are so many celebs that have to R.I.P. lately. This is just so depressing it's ridiculous. And they were all really beloved by many. What a horrible few days in American history. I pray that there are no more anytime soon.

Less than half an hour ago, hero to many in the music biz...Micheal Jackson has died of cardiac arrest. Please...let's refrain from any jokes are illict comments toward or against him. He was a great musician, and he deserves to rest in peace. It is quite unfortunate...he has been the inspiration to so many, the sudden death was rather a very saddening thing.

That's 3 in a signle week...Farrah Faucett, Ed McMahon, and now Micheal Jackson. I pray that we have no more anytime soon. I don't think America can handle so many so fast.

Yeah, about what I said about being around more often. Well...tried that, but now I actually have to make a total 180. I'm under some heavy stress. Generally, everything I do is running together. I'm always busy, either helping someone around here or Yiffchat, or I'm in real life helping people, and just generally always busy doing things for people. Which, is good, but it's worn me out. But I've also given so much I'm starting to lose who I am. I'm not really the fun-loving fox that I was before, but I'm out to fix that now....

...so as of today, I will not be around for a whole 7 days, until Wednesday. So I can take time and take perspective. I just need time to recover my thoughts and time to recover myself so I -can- be who I was. Ever since December, I've been killing myself and bending over backwards to help every single being to come my way. Sooo...yeah, I'll be out for a week so I can be myself again and go back to being the happy 'ol me that I used to be.

I'm not dead, I'm still around somewhat. I apologize for my random disappearance lately. I've been really busy trying to balance girlfriend on the phone, sleep, friends, and online time, and as of now, sleep seems to be prevailing over any and everything else, especially since my Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays are eaten by me having to wake up early to babysit my grandfather in dialysis. So yeah folks, hopefully sometime in the next week or so I'll be back in full swing around here.

There are lots of ya that I direct this to, but I bet more than half of you I mean it to won't see this, but either way, I am sorry that I haven't been around much, and hopefully I can get back to talking to you all soon

My dear nephew  onegaki is on a huge quest right now. He's on an adventure to get an outfit for himself for every single day of the year. And I'm helping him out, even started him off in getting him an outfit. He has a few, but we're aiming for 365, and I'd love your help with ideas and support.

It's true too. Rather pathetic if you see it from a 'little people's' point of view too.

For a while now, there are artists out there that I felt I'd be honored to do a trade art with. Not only because their arts are amazing, but because I thought it would be a good chance to continue the practice of my calligraphy arts. I thank dearly all those who reply to me. Even with a 'no' or a 'no thank you' or anything like that. Although it's slightly painful to get rejected in even the rudest of ways like 'I need money instead' or things like that, it's nothing compared to as painful as it is to be flat-out ignored.

I don't know what it is or why they'd do it. Is it because they think that they don't need to, or is it just that hey don't want to? Either way, it's really rude, and a rather annoying spit in the face for us aspiring artists, or just normal furs willing to make a new friend.

As Tanuki stated, not every person wanting to be your friend wants to mooch free arts off of you, all they want is *gasps* real friendship with someone they think is a nice person. But ignoring that person altogether is more or less proof that you weren't worth talking to in the first place. I'm not talking about those that scan their mail and read it, then wait a little bit to respond when you're less busy, but...when you read it, it's BS not to reply, plain and simple.

But it did. I couldn't fathom that my own mind could be invaded by a lion, but it was. has actually hypnotized me for real. Not only that, but did it...over the interwebz. It was actually a really good experience, 'specially since I was having a rather stressful day. Sooo...I said waht the hell. Well, I got to go to some kinda garden, which, actually gave my body total relaxation...and after I snapped out of that garden...he had control over meh with that word, The Garden. Which, was completely different for me. But I liked it!

Okay, part one, I started my 2nd account, now I just gotta start deleting/submitting onto that account now. For all of you that care, my new account is  calligrafox. My Forest Dwellers smut will be uploaded on there, and as of now, I'm very likely to start writing more furry and less smut. Of course I'll continue update Forest Dwellers from time to time, but I will also start on other projects too. Please, only watch if you're genuinely interested in reading the stories, nothing more. I'll keep this account strictly to pictures, both for watching/faving, and for putting my own up.

So as of late, and I don't know why, but I feel that...I don't think we writers really get much credit here in the fandom. At least, it really doeesn't feel like it. Talk about underrated underdogs of the group. Because...I dunno, it kinda runs through my head that, many in the fandom are have some sorta small attention spans when it comes to stuff. Do many of us really care to stick to a series? Are we writers really considered 'contributors' to the fandom?

So my thoughts...

FIrst off...definitely splitting this one account into two. I'm probably going to leave this one as is, just delete my writings, and after a little bit of time, scrap my callig drawings I do for others. I got a couple reasons that I do that. One, is because my watchlist is populated with people that enjoy the pics of my character, not so much for the story that I have written on here. And that leads to the second reason, because with the arts on here, it kinda pushes my story series to the back of the list and makes it easily unseen. So yeah, probably around next month, I'm gonna have another account for my writings, I'll notify you guys when I do.

Second, I know that it's a bit tougher for us writers to really get much recognition on this site anyways. Not blaming anybody, but to be totally honest, it's just hard to get seen when there are only 4 available slots to see other's stuff. Yeah, I know that writing is much less common than art, but at the same time, that also does help other writers if there are plenty of slots that can be seen, since they can hang around for a while on the front page. So...I am also considering peetitioning for an 8 slot display for Writing, Music, and Poetry as well. Yeah, it may fill up the page, but the outcome for the individual contributors would be more positive than negative.

I understand that SOME people claim to love how we writers are in the fandom...but think of the other side of it too. Yeah, they SAY that we're needed in the fandom. But if you think about it...yeah, it happens, but how RARE would it be to acutally see a writing - art trade? Personally I've only seen a couple...which only proves in itself that we writers are really underappreciated in the fandom. I mean, no, you aren't writing FOR people, but at the same time, it feels kinda messed up that you work so hard and recieve little to no appreciation for it. Personally, I have few that even give my writings a 2nd glance, So in truth...a real question is, are we really worth that much to the fandom, or are we just some extra accessory to the few furs that actually CAN find imagery in words instead of it being blatantly right there in their faces?

Any thoughts, questions, concerns, talk to me, lemme know what goes on with your opinions on my thoughts on this subject.

Not only gonna say that his music is...well...in one word...the SHIZ...but he's one of the sweetest people I know. Did I mention he's also my big cousin? Anyways, that week's what I call my "Golden Week" due to the fact that on the February 12, is my birthday, 14 means Valentines day with the lover, and the 16th is my 2 year anniversary with her. I'm freaking excited. Yes, after all this time, this is only my 2nd journal that's actually pertaining to myself. And the first when I'm actually in a good mood! Hehe.

*Maverick, as a cub, has a huge arsenal of G-strings, why? Because he knows they're cute. His favorite, though, is definitely the light blue ones that are the same hue as the tip of his tail and ears. That pair also has a really cute heart over the crotch.

*He always wears clothes that are white, blue, gray, or silver, not all at once of course, but those are his colors of choice.

Excellente! I've been running around the internet today, and practicing a bit, and I like the end results.

I'm in the process of learning and practicing MANY new fonts...well...at least what I'm able to do with these kind of calligraphy pens. I'm not using the quills with ink well yet...not ready for that level yet, and I don't exactly have a good enough work area for that just yet.

But for now, i love the ones that I did download, and you'll be seeing a bit of my practice drawings, as well as the requests that I do.

Hmm...maybe now that my stuff is gonna look a little more professional, and working harder to pull it off, I may actually start commissions soon...

Alright my dear adoring watchers. I'm curious about something. Mav's poor and jobless at the moment, and thus, and I do not do the anthro/furry art in general yet, still learning.
