Status Update - COVID, Pneumonia, and Gradual Recovery
General | Posted 4 years agoAs you may be aware, this month has been... slightly less than active on my part. I've effectively written nothing barring some minor commission work today, and now that I'm better of health, I figured I'd give the full rundown of what took place.
In the first couple days of July, my mother was tested positive for COVID. Predictably, within the next few days, my father fell ill, followed by myself; while our symptoms were light and entirely manageable at first, so much so that I still did some writing work, things quickly progressed to the point where I was completely knocked out and unable to do anything whatsoever on account of serious nausea, lack of appetite/eating, and incredibly poor sleep. This culminated in me spending a good four days not eating anything properly, which worsened into bouts of vomiting, which led to me being hospitalized for five days.
While at the hospital, I was informed that I had developed COVID-induced pneumonia. I wasn't on a ventilator, but did end up receiving oxygen to keep myself stable, and am currently being weaned off medication while undergoing breathing exercises; I still can't lie down on my back without some serious pulmonary distress.
Thankfully, everyone involved made it through. Both my parents have made a recovery and, despite my medication being foul, I've rested up and recovered enough that I can return to my regular work.
Thank you all for your patience. The smut will be flowing soon.

Status Update - COVID Positive
General | Posted 4 years agoAs per the title, I've recently tested positive for COVID-19 and am now suffering what seems to be the worst downswing of the disease. Will be out of action for a few days.

Pricing Update - More Affordability!
General | Posted 5 years agoIn order to make sequels and multi-parters more affordable, and given the recent change to pricing, the cost for multi-part stories have gone down. Rather than a flat +50% for every sequel, pricing is now incremental:
---> Part 1 will cost regular price (15$/1000 words)
---> Part 2 will cost 10% more (16.5$/1000 words)
---> Part 3 will cost 20% more (18$/1000 words), etc.
---> Part 1 will cost regular price (15$/1000 words)

On Pricing (Part 2)
General | Posted 5 years agoHey everyone, just offering an update on the pricing situation.
Effective immediately, I will be increasing my rates from 0,01$USD/word to 0,015$USD/word.
IE, 1000 words will go from 10$USD to 15$USD.
As noted in my Terms and Conditions, this change will not affect anyone on the commission queue or the waiting list (hence why it has a cut-off point listed). However, anyone coming into the list from this point forward should consider the pricing change to be in full effect.
Hopefully this way I can further secure my financial stability and move forward to doing this full-time as a long-term option rather than a short-term one. Once again, thank you all so much for your support, and I hope we can move forward to even greater heights than we've achieved already.

So about FLO...
General | Posted 5 years agoI'll be honest, the UI design got me; plus the fact that it actually has a bloody Literature tab, so RESPECC FOR WRITERS for once.
In the meantime, you shouldn't expect me to stop posting here; far as I know, FLO is just going to be yet another chapter in the many attempts at moving away from FA that goes absolutely nowhere... but I hope it isn't. If only for variety, really.
