It's been a while hasn't it? I moved into a new apartment and started up my job again as I had transferred. I'm unfortunately feeling the money hurt living off of my own means and hope to possibly get a second job, but we'll see how that goes. For now, finishing Maxilla is one of my main goals because I just wanna run around and be myself when I can, you know? So far, my plans keep falling through to get my head all banged out so I'm still a paper bag. I promise you for both my sake and yours that one day you'll be able to run up and hug my silly krag self for real, and not the paper bag face me.

Tomorrow marks the 1 year anniversary of when Maxilla entered my life and made me feel more whole. ;w; I can't believe Maxilla is 1 year old, it feels like yesterday I was drawing my kragoc for the first time and solidifying their design to truly make them a part of me. I'm so surprised, like holy cow!

So, on Sunday the hunt for a proper person to talk to about my problems begins. I'm both scared and worried as it's always been really hard for me to talk about what's hurting (it's a long story) and it's time for me to look into some professional help. My friends whom I have told are very proud of me for stepping up to try and combat the problem and maybe find out once and for all why I feel the way I do. One can only hope for the best.

If I were to open for a couple, after I draw up a little TOS, would anyone be interested? I don't have many examples so it would be a shot in the dark, but I could do badges or a little digital picture, would that interest anyone?

So, my tablet pen is dying I believe, not the tablet itself. If you shake it you can clearly hear a rattling inside. It still works, it's just the buttons on the side will randomly press themselves and the pen itself will lag showing up on the screen and skip and jump when I drag it around. Sometimes the pen pressure will suddenly not be set and just make fat lines everywhere. Then it'll be completely fine. I've got a regular Intuos 4 tablet and tablet pen, and I'm hoping to get an art pen as a replacement. I really wanted to open commissions, but those may be limited to traditional things as I don't want my tablet to completely stop working and then I'd be unable to complete anything, which is why I've been putting things off, hoping my pen would get better. :c I'm hoping things sort out soon.

SO, with life as busy as it's been my plans to make Maxilla into a suit had been put on the back burner. I was getting to feel like I would never get him for real, let alone me make him myself... But, life has been good to me with my current job and the amount of hours I've been getting. This is also my last year living at home possibly, so I figured it would be this year or never. I felt financially able enough to put down my first payment on Maxilla arms, legs, hands, and feet from one of my absolute favorite suit makers! Once they officially open I will announce who they are, but I am absolutely certain that I've put Maxilla in the arms of someone wonderful and able to make amazing things happen. I will be taking on the task of my head and tail however, and hope to have a partial by my next major con, which is AC '15. I'm not certain if FWA '15 is too soon, but I'm not even sure if I can go to that yet. Even if I don't get him done by then he will most certainly be done by MFF '15. I'm so excited AHHHH. twt I also plan to wear a substitute head if I don't get it done myself if I have the rest of me done. xD

This MFF has been the best MFF I've ever attended. I'm hoping to have a suit next time around, but with everything that happened, I can't wait for FWA. That'll be my first of that con, but this weekend will be forever in my thoughts as the craziest con I've ever been at.

I can not take you seriously when I see Google Images copy and pasted into your art and you don't credit where they came from. ESPECIALLY when you are making money off of it. You're not learning anything by not trying to draw it. Makes me sad. Please always credit where things came from if they are not yours.

I had a blast! Not too much play money on my side unfortunately, but I had an amazing time nonetheless!
