Sorry About The Hold Up
General | Posted 14 years agoDue to my current unemployment, financial and technical difficulties have arrived and I've been trying to deal with such problems. My tablet's cord has been severed, so I'm waiting for the replacement cord to arrive in the mail. However, I invested in pens and markers for a reason, so I'll be doing artwork the old traditional way again.
Calamity: I'm so sorry for such a huge massive delay. I'll get right on your requests the best I can.
Caldaq: Same to you.

A Murical Happened
General | Posted 15 years agoI totally excelled at a job interview with a local floral store. I start tomorrow at 2 pm, learning what I can for four hours. Retail with flowers, candies and bakery goodness X3. So excited, I can't express in literal words. In three years time, hopefully, I will be a florist ^^.
Holy Crap
General | Posted 15 years agoI finished the Wild Night Ad, finally. With all the computer trouble I've been having, it seems so close now.. Granted, I fear my progress took too long, since the Con is only two more months away. That's not dead-line friendly at all.
Here's hoping I can get it onto Youtube...
.................Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand dammit... :.;.... the creative world of cyber entertainment hates me. *cries*

Hurrah for Oklacon
General | Posted 15 years agoSo I decided to invite two friends to come with me to Oklacon. We couldn't leave until about 6, but we were delayed because one of the two wanted to take a shower and then we needed last minute supplies from Walmart. So! We head out around 7:15-ish pm, and managed to get to Oklacon around 2:15 am. Yay for
caldaq, who welcomed us first off, aside from the security officer there.
Hitch #1: Couldn't pitch up tent due to the fact there weren't instructions included with the packaging, and appearently, I didn't have all the parts.
Miracle #1: There was an A-frame with some vacant beds.
Miracle #2:
Corsi was nice enough to help me move all our crap into the A-frame. ^^ Which was awesome.
We wake up around 8 am the next day, and get registered. I catch up with my favorite Furry-leberties:
JugularJaguar and
Okidoki. I settle down a bit to sell a couple commissions, all's good. Caldaq was sweet enough to bring pure sugar Dr. Pepper to my table ToT which was marvelous...too bad my town doesn't sell those packs. ...I don't think >.> Anyway. Basically, I make $20 in an afternoon. I bought a couple things: A bunny face hat, which is adorable on a deadly factor and an octopus steam punked necklace. Later on in the afternoon, I find
AshleyFableBlack and her hubby coming up the hill to the Turkey Roost, so I couldn't resist to give her a glomp and a twirl. I made her wedding gifts, two braided collars; one having a heart lock for Ashley's and her hubby's collar had a dangling key for her lock ^^ teehee. Yes... it was genius. After that, I relaxed at the A-frame for a bit...came back out, discovered the true location of the Artist Alley..which ironically was next door to my a-frame. There I was able to hang out with
Taillone for a bit, and promised to doodle with her the next day. All the while, at this time, I was on my way to a Calamity Party in a cabin clear across the park. Which was fun.
At this time, J4 was resting in our a-frame from a stomach ache, and her sister Flairona was soon going to join her. I decided to stay up a while longer and hang out with anyone I recognized. Which was
Corsi , with him, I tested my fireside manor and played "Werewolf" for the first time. Yeehaw.
Hitch#2: When I finally called it a night, Flairona throws up (from her top bunk) four times in one setting. Apparently she ate a bad burger around lunch time and just now gave her grief for it.
Hitch#3: Flairona starts crying because she's embarrassed and guilty. Thankfully, Caldaq was able to calm her down with his soothing voice.
Miracle #3: A nice man helps me pack all our stuff up as the sisters go to the bathroom to clean up.
Miracle #4: We pack up smoothly, in fact, we broke a record in jamming the car up with junk.
We head out, exactly 24 hours from when we arrived...Weird. Anyway, I end up driving for 5 hours with no sleep since 8am that previous morning. WHoohoo...J4 had to take over the last hour of travel, because I couldn't do it anymore without swerving all over the road.
Hitch #4: On the way home, I accidently took the wrong junction, so I wasted a whole hour of driving in the wrong direction.
Miracle #5: I find a Love's Station with a girl who knows a short cut back to I-40 and a straight shot to Amarillo.
Miracle #6: A super super nice man gave me $20 for gas...I cried on him. I felt so stressed from the lack of sleep, the pressure of getting my ailing friend home before she gets worse, and the fact my tires may blow out from under me because their pressures were low; for that gentleman to help me get home, it touched me deeply and I couldn't thank him enough.
Miracle #7: We managed to get home, all in one piece and before noon.
That's my weekend in a nut shell. Basically. Yayyyyy.

Update
General | Posted 15 years agoI now have a paypal account. I'm not sure how to have customer interaction just yet, but I have faith it'll work.
Commitions
General | Posted 16 years agoOkay, since I'm officially a bum again, I figured I could work for myself to get some pocket change for the outside world. However...I'm still a little iffy about how Pay Pal works, I can take checks in the mail I suppose >> As long as we agree not to share my address with strangers I don't know. Got it?
Due to my lazer pad being out of order, traditional drawing and coloring is what is available to be had with the finished product.
Basic character sketches: $5 each
Basic Character inked: $10
Basic Character inked and colored: $15
Groups ( 2 characters, plus) inked and colored: $20
Groups sketched: $15
Just so you know, I DO NOT DO: Baby porn, scatology, snuff, inflations or necrophiliac actions.
I WILL DO: Ratings from G to NC-17; straight, bi and gay. I can do tenticals, and some genres of bondage. Don't expect me to put dirty talk in there, I'm no good at it. There are occasions I draw zombies, but I'm yet to convert that into Furridom, so that'll be an interesting challenge.

A Year Gone
General | Posted 16 years agoI dedicated a year's worth of effort into an animation project, in tribute to my fallen fair father.
It is a video I hope to post onto here, since it is animal themed. Assuming I can figure out how to transfer it to a flash file...bah. I'll post it on facebook and have you see it that way. I'm too tired right now ^^:;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lh5RIENwj2U&feature=related
not the original music I wanted. In fact this "audio swap" I had to do that was long enough is so zenfully boring. However, it's still a finished product.

So there I was...
General | Posted 16 years agoIt's about 5 o'clock p.m., I'm heading out for work with an umbrella and Dr. Pepper in hand. It's raining cats and dogs outside with a bit of hail ontop of that. Long story short, I get on the highway, going the speedlimit on a waterlogged pavement, I hydroplaned and rammed into the concrete seperation wall. I felt the collision, a spin, another collision and a few more swerves. During the third spin off, I get it to my foot to push on the brake.
When I opened my eyes, there was white powdered smoke that filled the compartment, both airbags had been deploid and my dashboard looks like a toddler's jigsaw puzzle.
Conveniantly, there was a valliant man who stopped in the middle lane, got out of his truck to see if I was okay. A fantastic realization, no one else got themselves involved in the collision coarse I had made for myself. This man was in a tan jumpsuit with an imbrordered badge I hadn't seen before, helps me get out of my car and I gather my wits on the hood of his truck. I was shaking like an abandoned leaf on a Wednesday.. Since it (the badge) had Hellocaptors and an Appachie (the air vehicle) sillowhets on it, I assumed he was in the airforce for some reason. Of coarse I asked him once I stopped shaking enough to gather an audible breath. He was a Marine. XD
I hugged him for two reasons: he helped me. And he and his comrads had done so much for this country, I was so grateful one was spared long enough to help me. The big deal was, ontop of that, I had never met a real marine before (that was still in service and not retired) and I had just left my Mom watching NCIS...I love Gibbs... Anyway.
I crawl into this dude's truck, I call work, the line was busy, so I called home instead.
"Hey mom! Guess what?"
"Oh no, what?"
"I got in a wreck!"
Yeah... not the greatest line to give your mom on a rainy evening.
A couple paramedics come, ask me questions about my well being. Please view the pictures I've posted. For the most part, I lost my FAVORITE pair of glasses while in the car, my visual injuries ached like crazy, for the most part, I was okay. I didn't even have a headache, if you can imagine.
I figured the hospital would give me a doctor's note, so I decide to head out to the ambulance to ride to BSA.
I shook the Marine's hand and smiled so greatfully and I asked his name.
"Ray," he smiled back, glad that I was okay.
"Well, Ray, I'm Heather. Thank you so much for helping me." and I gave him another hug.
Of coarse on the way to the ambulance, I turned around again and hugged him for a third time. I stepped onto the ambulance, got belted in and "Logan" as I read on his name tag was going through hoops to get an accurate reading of my blood pressure.
I was...I think...139 over 82 I think...whatever that means. At the hospital, I go through another blood preasure test, a few brief interviews with nurses, a cop...paper. You know how it goes. Registration then the waiting game that lasted 5 hours.
My mom came about 10 minutes after I was seated in the waiting room, 10 minutes more, my exhuasted big sister comes to see me. About an hour and a half later, Big Sis is convinced going home and taking a nap would be a good idea. Mom suck by me. I was bored out of my skull though...so I call a couple friends to assure them I'm still breathing and all that, just to pass the time. it was about...9:00 p.m that we were upgraded to a gurnny room. about 9:15 p.m, a doctor finally had time to see if I had fractured anything. Thankfully, he deemed me healthy enough to go home without x-rays and such. 3 advils a day was what he suggested.
So there's my great adventure, and webcammed proof of my tale!

Trip
General | Posted 17 years agoI'm heading out to Arkansas with my mom for fishing and relaxing purposes and will be gone for a few days (as if I update enough for any difference) from the 8th to through the 13th.
So Neko, if you have an impulse to call me, you know where I'll be.
Love you
Mayu.

God I'm lonely.
General | Posted 17 years agoI need some testosterone or something around me or something.
Sure I have guy-friends to hang out with but it's not really the same. I tried eHarmony, but ditched that because I wasn't getting anywhere with it and for some reason it made me nervous. I have a guy in another country head over heels for me, but I don't feel the same way. He's a puppy dog and I don't want it to be a pitty-relationship, you know?
*sigh* Oi! What's a gal to do? I'm new in this place, no one's going to read this execpt for a couple of people who know me here. And for some reason I can't access the forums to maybe get somebody's attention there.
Neko, you have connections right? Oh sheesh that was desperately pathetic of me. I'm just ranting for the hell of it really. What's a personal page without at least one journal entry, right?
Anyway: That's all I can randomly come up with for now.
If any male out there is looking for a plus sized rabbit, give me a pm. I'll be glad to hear from you if I don't sound like I'm selling myself.
