Adding Bluesky to thine arsenal
Posted 9 months agoHey everyone! Wanted to update you all on some things as I try to get back into drawing!
Main thing, I have added Bluesky into my posting cycle. With Twitter/X continuing to fall from grace, I feel that Bluesky would be a good addition into our movement for safer spaces for the community. With that, I have been working on that account going. So be sure to check it out and follow! I am working on finding mutuals as well to follow so be sure to let me know so I can get my feed up again x3

Fitting the Frame (resuming)
Posted a year agoHey everyone, hope all is well. After some time, Devon and I agreed to resume Fitting the Frame. We are in progress of creating the 20th chapter that we plan to have ready to by Sunday the 8th or Monday the 9th.

Fitting the Frame (on pause)
Posted a year agoIn light of recent news with the tragic passing of Dragoneer. Me and Devon's heart goes out to everyone close to him. This is a sudden loss that will affect many as he has been a pillar of our community for so long.
Out of respect of his passing, we will be putting a pause on Fitting the Frame to allow everyone to grieve and process this. We will keep you all posted, but we find it is best to put a hold on this, especially given the nature of this story.
I hope you understand and thanks as always for your support for the story.

Fitting the Frame (Delay)
Posted a year agoHello everyone, hope this journal reaches you all well.
Corgsdale and I have been working away for a bit now on Fitting the Frame, and we are excited as we wrap up the final chapters of the story. This has been quite the journey and I am glad to have Devon to work alongside on such a project. Despite our busying schedules, we have still managed to get chapters out (with a hiccup here and there... haha).
Unfortunately, Devon has been going through some rough waters as of late. Along with personal and family matters he's had to focus on, he will have to move out of his apartment and will be forced to live in his car soon. Because of this, its put a strain on a lot of things, Fitting the Frame included. Because of that, we decided to put the story on a brief hold to allow Devon to catch some air and work things out before we continue with the story.
We are sorry about the delay, life throws us some pretty damn bad hardballs sometimes. We will keep you all posted if anything changes, but for now, Chapter 18 will be released on Sunday, July 14th.
If you would like to support Devon at all, please check out his journal and lend some support if you can. He additionally has a journal where you can purchase some of his items he is selling to stay afloat, anything will help him. Thank you.

I'm back for the summer!

It has been a long while since I have informed everyone on what is going on with me, my absences, and why I decided to art dump and dip for months at a time.
Many of you know already, but for those who don't, I have been working on my bachelor's degree for the last four years and am approaching my last semester in the fall. These past 8 months have been absolute hell for me as I have been fully taken up by classes. This summer will still be fairly busy for me as I work on the final big year-long project that I have been working on for the last few months as well as my internship. But now I have some spare time to draw here and there, which I am so excited to get back into. This does though come with some rather bad news...
I most likely will not be doing commissions this summer... I know there were quite a few kind people that asked about commissions this summer, but with my workload already taking up so much of my time, I worry taking on a ton of slots will just lead to inconsistent completion dates and possible burnout. I will reaccess the situation later this summer, but for now, I am not planning to open up commissions as of right now. I MAY take one here and there upon request, but I do not plan to open up slots or anything big. That being said, if you have a commission idea that you really want to share with me, it does not hurt to share and if it is something I can do, we may work something out.
I am again going to make a commitment to try and keep dumping art here until we have finally caught up with my Twitter. I deeply apologize for that as it has gotten this out of hand. Every few days, I hope to post about 4-5 pieces so keep an eye out for that. If you want to see all of my art that you may have missed, feel free to check out my Twitter here.
Thank you everyone for your patience these past months and years. School has proven to be a huge commitment and I look forward to the time when I can fully engage with you all and post more freely. I hope everyone has a wonderful start to their summer and I look forward to interacting with you all once again, I have greatly missed it...

Running from Corpulence Updates (Audiobook and Alt. Endin...
Posted 3 years agoHey everyone, it has been a minute since I have written to FA. School as well as plenty of other things have kept me busy and have made me not fully focused on FA, so I do apologize. I hope you are doing alright and appreciate you taking the time to read this journal. Many of you have asked me over the last year what is going on with the Audiobook and Alternative Ending for Running from Corpulence. I wanted to write this journal out to clear the air and give you some concrete answers on what is going on.
There will be good AND bad news...
I will start with the bad.
The audiobook that we were putting together will unfortunately not see the public light. In the simplest terms, this audiobook project was something we bit off more than we could chew. The amount of time
that it took to put this together was longer than expected. We left the project on the back burner for too long which led to the project either needing to be redone or to try and polish the old stuff we had from before. All in all, after careful deliberation from plokishmok3 and our editor @devonthefirewolf, we decided to cancel the project. To all of the people that recorded voice lines for the story, thank you, from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to help us out, and I apologize for not following through with the audiobook. Also huge apologies for those who were looking forward to the audiobook, especially after waiting for almost a year and a half to hear the status of it. This was the best thing to do as I have become way too stressed about it as it sat waiting to be done.
There is some good news to this though, not much, but there is.
The alternative ending (bad ending) will be released to the public next week Friday (2/11) and I am swearing by it. We have the completed chapter written out and WIP art for it. This ending will NOT be canon to the story and is rather a different ending to the story. I know a lot of people wanted to see this but never released it because it was going to come with the audiobook. Since the audiobook is no longer being finished, we can release the alternative ending free of the audiobook. The alt ending picture will not be fully finished but rather colored and sketched as I don't want this art piece to be closely affiliated with the story. This chapter will either be adult or mature-rated as we do not want the chapter to show to non-users and general FA audiences. It makes the most sense to have it be apart from the story.
Thank you once again for all of your guy's patience over the year. Running from Corpulence was a wonderful project to work on and I am saddened that it has to end like this. It was an honor to work with plokishmok3 as he is wonderful to work with. I also want to give a huge shoutout to devonthefirewolf for assisting with the audiobook and helping edit it. I appreciate the time he put into it and am truly sorry for him for closing out the project. This project will mean a whole ton to me as this has formed Maz into someone who can embrace being fat rather than run away from it. The book has a lot of meaning to me and am thankful to be a part of it.

So it's been a while.
Posted 4 years agoHey everyone, I apologize for the inconsistency with activity the last few months. As some of you may know, I am in the middle of the college semester and with everything being online, many would think it would be easier, but we were wrong. This semester has taken me away mentally from art and it has left me with so many projects that have needed to be finished. I want to reassure everyone that these projects will be finished but I will not be able to work on them till the semester is over (end of April). I still have a ton of art I haven't posted on here so I hope to keep you guys occupied with that while I have been away. Along with that, I am sorry for not being on top of comments lately. I love each and every one of them and that is why I do my best to respond to everyone. I will do my best to manage furry stuff and college next time as I tried to bite off more than I could chew this semester. I thought I would update everyone on where I am at so if you have any questions feel free to ask. Thank you for reading everyone and have a great rest of your week.

Going on a Short Hiatus~
Posted 5 years agoHello everyone! I have been absent a lot lately and I am sorry I have not been able to update you guys on what has been going on. I am sorry if I bore you with this stuff so the TLDR will be provided for those who live on the edge~
What is going on?
With everything going on with the virus, most colleges were moved to online for the remainder of the semester (including mine). This left instructors to move all of their content online which took a few weeks. Now with everything moved online, it has been crammed into a shorter time frame, leaving all of the students to finish twice the work in half the time (some worse, some not). Now with finals coming up, I have 2 very large projects that are due in less than two weeks, along with an English paper and exams for my 5 classes.
I thought I would be able to handle all of it and be on FA to make more art but the stupid derg must raise the white flag and let go on on something.
Like many other students, I am not very good with online courses and this has made it difficult to learn and get projects done. Along with that, my projects are already extremely late, but I wanted to make sure that I got my commission list cleared and upcoming work done as well. Yes, that means that Running from Corpulence with
plokishmok3 will still be uploaded on time~ While classes were still being shifted, I was able to get the project done early.Along with finals coming up, I am moving to my own apartment in Mid-May with
alexcharty17. For how exciting that is, it is being vastly overshadowed with the end of the semester and the work along with it.So, with most everything explained, what does it mean? Well, for one, I will not be able to make art for you guys for a few weeks while I try to get my stuff together. I will not be on FA, Telegram or Twitter to respond to messages but I will try my best to get to them in a somewhat timely manner. For now, commissions will be closed for now as well. After the semester ends and I get moved, I should be able to open everything back up and start back up on art and hopefully some fun summer projects I have had in mind~
Again I apologize for this, I really wish I can still make art as this makes me happy, but I have to swallow my pride and admit that it will be impossible to take on all of this at once. I will miss all of you guys for the time, and I hope you don't forget about the little chubby derg with glasses. Love you all and thank you for hearing me out~
TLDR: College work and future apartment move-in have gotten overwhelming and I will not be returning till early to mid May. Running from Corpulence will still be on time and I will miss you all during my absence~

Wowzers, such a big number I would've never imagined achieving with my newbie art! I have been so thankful to be able to express myself with art this last year and I would've never of thought of reaching out to so many people out there. Not only that, but the amount of people I have been able to meet and talk to has put such a smile on my face lately. Being able to talk with friends, supporters, and inspirations has been one of the best things to happen to me. So thank you all of you for being such an impact on my life.
