ANNOUNCEMENT - Support our new comic on Patreon!
Posted 5 years agoToday is an important day for the Noéyihn team (artists working on adventures of my original characters): the release of the first pages of our new comic "Codename: Statyk" and the launch of our Patreon page!
This new adventure is a collaboration between me (story/dialogues) and LoreGattyas (art), to offer you a +60 pages long comic.
This is a new adventure of Yetshi as bounty hunter, focusing on action with a bit of humor. The story mostly take place in a new space station where he'll discover new technology that could be helpful in many areas. Among these projects, one seems not right. His codename: Statyk.
This is meant to be a SFW comic, focusing on relationships and fight scenes. There is no fetish content in the story, but LoreGattyas having artistic freedom on this project, it still could happen.
LoreGattyas is working on it for free, but I think he deserves something more than just views and positive feedback for the incredible amount of work and quality he's offering. That's the reason why I decided to create a Patreon page, to show him our support.
By supporting our work each month, here is the list of thing you can unlock:
* Early access to our comic pages 1 month before public release - 2€
* Work in progress stuff (sketches, traditional inked pages) - 5€
* Short videos showing digital creation process - 10€
* Cameos of your character in the comic - 25€
Also, all users giving 10€ and above will receive the PDF version of the whole comic once finished, even if you have supported us a single month!
Interested? Follow this link and start supporting the project: https://www.patreon.com/noeyihn_team
This is not a Patreon exclusive comic (first pages will be released publicly in January 2021), so don't feel bad if you don't have money to show your support, but we expect feedback from you once the comic is out!

November news
Posted 5 years agoFirst of all, thank you all very much again for the birthday wishes! Your French gecko enozar is maybe older, but he's also sillier! If you want to see all gifts I've received so far, please check latest posts here: http://fanart.mctaylis.fr/
And now, let's talk about a few things:
As I mentioned in a previous journal, I'm working in collaboration with a comic artist (LoreGattyas) to soon release a new adventure of Yetshi.
Script and dialogues are now done and art process as recently started and we plan to have around 60 pages or more at the end of the project.
But as you know, hard work deserves a fair reward and that's why I'm going to create a Patreon page to support this big project. Rewards will go from early access to pages earlier, sketches and even the possibility to request art from us.
I will let you know when the page opens.
Yes! I recently reached the awesome amount of 1000 followers on Twitter and to celebrate this milestone, I just opened an art raffle to give you a chance to win a free commission!
If you have a Twitter account and are interested to get free art, click on this link and follow the rules: https://twitter.com/mctaylis/status.....14706521022464

Summer Collab is done, what's next?
Posted 5 years agoIf you missed the news, the 2020 edition of my Summer Collab (started in June 1st) is now done. Even if putting 118 characters together on the same beach was a bit tricky, working in collaboration with 49 artists was an amazing experience that I will certainly retry next year (or later, depending of what future reserves).
Now that's this huge project is complete, what's next?
Created 10 years ago, Nolhann (formerly Dyshi) and Aurore (formerly Sirena) will soon be seen in remakes of old drawings of them. These, will be as well, accompanied with comparison pictures, showing their evolution over years.
A few months ago, my friend and artist LoreGattyas worked on a new canon story, adding an important event in the everyday life of the McTaylis family.
Tomorrow, I'm going to start releasing the 11 pages of this comic (2 pages per day), stay tuned (and don't spoil others if you have already read it)!
A new canon story of the adventures of Yetshi is currently in preparation, drawn by LoreGattyas and written by your silly French gecko. I can't give any release date nor details for now, so wait and see.
Lot of questions have been asked about my lore, lot of them have been answered, but it's difficult to know where these answers are, especially when you're a new follower. I may have found the best solution to fix this: my own wiki.
A place where you could find complete details about characters, locations, artifacts, culture, technology and more. Coming soon.
I often receive private messages asking for commissions. They are currently closed but I may open a few slots in the next weeks, so stay tuned.
About trades, I made changes regarding who can ask for one:
* Silly Crew members (from my Discord community server)
* Mutuals (artists with common interests and art experience)
I just want to avoid receiving bad quality art made in a few minutes without any effort, that makes me think you only want free art from me.

Posted 6 years agoFirst of all, I would like to thank all amazing people I met during these last 10 years: followers from DeviantArt, FurAffinity and Twitter that helped me to evolve as a furry artist, with their feedback and support, you rock, stay awesome!
Also, special thanks to all members of my Discord server and especially to the Silly Crew: I had a wonderful year in your company and hope to have even more fun for next years, love you guys!
Taking a look at all these styles I experimented over the last years, it's now hard for me to appreciate art made between mid-2014 and 2016. I'm not sure that simplifying so much my style was a good thing, in fact, I feel it was more a waste of time: I did not improve thanks to it. One year later, I decided to mix my early 2014 style with the 2016 one and got something I was really comfortable with, that I'm still using nowadays.
Actually, I tried something different in early 2018, but my brain wasn't really okay with this change and one night, decided to create a nightmare where Yash, in a 2017 style, was drowning and something was telling me there was only one way to save him. Yeah, that was horrible, but that made me realize that deep inside of me, this previous art style was the one I wanted to keep. Thanks, brain!
Yes, I was enjoying being a Yoshi, but years after years, I was feeling less comfortable with it.
Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy this Nintendo character, but using a copyrighted species with no permission for characters representing me, honestly, that sounded wrong for me.
I know that a lot of you were against that decision, but Yash and Yetshi are my sonas, they have a strong meaning for me that you can't understand. They're a part of me and I'm the only one to decide what to do with them.
Looking deeply into my interests, my species had to be based on my very favorite one: lizards, especially geckos. So I designed for my sonas my own sub-species of geckos: enozars and gave them skin colors based of my favorite ones: green, blue, yellow and orange.
Then time was needed to get used to draw them, experiment different type of snouts, to have the cute twins reptiles they are today!
Though, after the discover of all of this, I was already followed on DeviantArt by a hundred of watchers as a SFW artist. I was ashamed of sharing my fetish art, fearing that my followers judge me on my interests and run away, leaving me alone. But I really wanted to share my fetish art, get feedback on it, ... so I decided to create a secondary and secret account on FurAffinity: Growshi.
After the very first posts, my muscle and foot growth creations were getting more popular that my general SFW stuff (that I was now posting on this secondary account)!
Seeing the positive feedback on this account compared to the main one, I decided to try something : let know to my DeviantArt followers that I'm also a fetish artist.
I was prepared to receive negative feedback and even leave this website if necessary, but the opposite thing happened! Long time watchers were very supportive regarding this news and at this moment, they opened my mind.
There is an advise I learned from this experience and that I would like to tell to new artists: whatever you create and as long you enjoy doing it, continue! Even if you think your art doesn't worth it, there will always be someone to support you!
That was really fun to do and I improved a lot drawing them, but sadly, some winners didn't show me their joy to receive free art, not even a "thanks"...
That's really disappointing and because this kind of people, I'm now going to reserve free sketches to friends only. I'm sorry, but it seems that taking requests from people you don't know well is always a bad idea.
Anyway, if you still wish to get a drawing from me, another solution is still available and show that you want to support me: commissions!
I'm currently doing a -30% sale on my prices for the end of the year holidays until the first weeks of January.
Anyway, new requests will be placed in queue as all slots are already taken. Of course, reduced price will be applied to your commission, even if I work on it after sale ends!
Since the complete reboot of my lore and with the creation of a multiverse, a lot of things have been added or changed and need to be (re)explained. A big part of this new stuff is gonna be shown in one big project: a complete remake of +30 pages of my 2015 comic "Jailbreak", telling an adventure of Yetshi and Draeter as treasure hunters, searching for an old electric artifact lost in an inhabited island.
A lot of motivation and support will be necessary to complete this big project, would you be my Patreons? Once I'm done with the detailed script and storyboard, a Patreon page will be created to support me during the creation of each page. As rewards, I'll offer you the possibility to get early access to sketches and project files, cameos and even commissions!
I'll give you more information once I'm ready to work on it.
This project will help me to know if I'm comfortable enough to work on nothing even bigger: "Codename: Statyk" comics, telling the very first missions of Yetshi as bounty hunter of The Agency. Though, it's just an idea for now, let's wait and see what's gonna happen during this new decade!
Also, special thanks to all members of my Discord server and especially to the Silly Crew: I had a wonderful year in your company and hope to have even more fun for next years, love you guys!
2010-2019, art retrospective
So, what did I accomplished during this decade? I'm not going to give you a detailed story of what happened each year, but 3 points which seem to be the most important parts for me.Art style progression
Experiencing different art styles is a common thing in artists' life, in order to find the one you're the more comfortable with. It took me almost a decade to find mine, some experiences helped me to evolve and some were just fails.Taking a look at all these styles I experimented over the last years, it's now hard for me to appreciate art made between mid-2014 and 2016. I'm not sure that simplifying so much my style was a good thing, in fact, I feel it was more a waste of time: I did not improve thanks to it. Yeah, that was horrible, but that made me realize that deep inside of me, this previous art style was the one I wanted to keep. Thanks, brain!
From Yoshi to Enozar
I've been known for many years as "that French guy who draw good looking anthro Yoshi characters", but when I started creating my characters, I didn't know that I was going to create a big lore around them and possibly get copyright issues because of their species.Yes, I was enjoying being a Yoshi, but years after years, I was feeling less comfortable with it.
Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy this Nintendo character, but using a copyrighted species with no permission for characters representing me, honestly, that sounded wrong for me.

Being part of the furry community and creating fetish art
Yash has been created in 2009, but at this time, I had no idea that I was now part of the furry community. I was even unaware that a huge amount of people were sharing the same interest than me in what we call "fetishes". Honestly, I thought I was an unique case in the world.Though, after the discover of all of this, I was already followed on DeviantArt by a hundred of watchers as a SFW artist. I was ashamed of sharing my fetish art, fearing that my followers judge me on my interests and run away, leaving me alone. But I really wanted to share my fetish art, get feedback on it, ... so I decided to create a secondary and secret account on FurAffinity: Growshi.

End of Free Sketches & return of Commissions
Free sketches have been running for a whole year but it's now time to end them.

Next projects: new comics, Patreon page and more lore!
The new decade brings new projects for my art galleries. As usual, i'm planning to create short comics with and without fetish content, such as the famous "Yetshi Muscle Growth Show" and silly situations of the everyday life of my characters. But that's not all.Since the complete reboot of my lore and with the creation of a multiverse, a lot of things have been added or changed and need to be (re)explained. A big part of this new stuff is gonna be shown in one big project: a complete remake of +30 pages of my 2015 comic "Jailbreak", telling an adventure of Yetshi and Draeter as treasure hunters, searching for an old electric artifact lost in an inhabited island.

Discover all fanart I received since 2010!
Posted 6 years agoOver 380 pictures of my creations (received from gifts, trades and commissions) grouped in the same place!
Similar to my Fetish art archive website released a few months ago, I just released a new own-made gallery which group all fanart I received since 2010!
Why did I make this?
* Sometimes, artists delete their art gallery and never reappear, lot of awesome art is lost in the process.
* Sometimes, artists never release the art they do for you, because they forget about it or think their art is not worth a public release.
I think all fanart I received over all these years deserve to be seen by anyone, whenever they want. Whatever your art skills, I will always love the art you do for me.
That's all the reasons I want to keep everything at the same place and I hope you enjoy these pieces as much as I do! :3

10 years of Yash, 10 years as furry
Posted 6 years agoToday is a very special day for me: not only because it's been exactly 10 years since I've drawn my first sketch of Yash, but also because it means I'm part of the furry community for the same amount of time!
Nowadays, I do have an awesome community all around the world, composed of old like new watchers, buddies and close friends. I wasn't expecting to live such an amazing experience when I joined the furry community in the first day!
To my community, all Silly Crew members: words cannot express how thankful I am to all what you've done over these 10 years, you're freaking awesome! Thank you! :la:
Back in 2012, I made lot of drawing of Yash and Yetshi as raptor, with slightly different colors. I was planning to make it a permanent change, but watchers told me it was a bad idea, that they wanted me to stay a Yoshi and so I listened to them...
Over the years, I still had the feeling they would look better with new colors but was always fearing watchers reactions... until last year when I realized that they're my sonas, I'm the only one to decide what I have to do with them. Sorry to those who still hope I go back to the Yoshi species, I'll stay a cute enozar! =P
You may have noticed it, from today, Yash is getting a fresh haircut: shorter hair and beard, but the 3 long spikes on the front stay the same! A mix of first year and last year designs for a very special event (note that Yetshi gets the shorter beard as well)!
A note to the community
Lot of changes have happened during this last 10 years: besides a lot of experimentation in my art style and character's creation, I've met amazing people who have always been here to support me, made me feel more confident to share my fetish art and helped me to find my artistic identity.Nowadays, I do have an awesome community all around the world, composed of old like new watchers, buddies and close friends. FROM Yoshi to Enozar... another fact about this change
Did you know that switching species is something I had in mind from earlier than 2018?Back in 2012, I made lot of drawing of Yash and Yetshi as raptor, with slightly different colors. 10 years of evolution
My art style has changed a lot over these years, right? Lot of experimentation that finally made me step back to the style I've created in 2017, with some adjustments. Let's see its evolution: https://sta.sh/01ucxwxntsjgYou may have noticed it, from today, Yash is getting a fresh haircut: shorter hair and beard, but the 3 long spikes on the front stay the same! 10 years of fan-art
Because it's always a pleasure to see a drawing of my characters drawn by someone else, no matter art skills and styles, I want to share with you a selection of 10 of my favorites drawings of Yash I received during the last decade: fan-art, requests, trades or even commissions: https://sta.sh/22fi6njinh6rGrowth Drive - Round 3 votes and donations closed!
Posted 6 years ago68740GP have been collected for next round and Yash has won once again!
Yash: 72% (175 votes)
Yetshi: 28% (76 votes)
Big thanks to all donators! Best ones get a cameo in the next drawing! :D

Growth Drive - Second goal reached!
Posted 6 years agoDue to the fact nobody seems interested to donate to this growth drive (maybe it comes at a wrong time?), I had to rework the growth points generation system.
By now, here are how actions will be calculated:
- 1 favorite or 1 like = 10GP
- 1 retweet = 100GP
- 1 USD = 500GP
And so now, enough growth points have been generated for the next part of the growth drive! Here are the poll results:
Yash: 67.9% (93 votes)
Yetshi: 32.1% (44 votes)
Time to draw next part then! :3

Growth Drive - First goal reached!
Posted 6 years agoI didn't except this to happen so early, but the first growth points has been reached a few minutes ago!
Poll is closed and stats no longer count for the current part.
Here are poll results:
Yash: 42.7% (41 votes)
Yetshi: 57.3% (55 votes)
I'm now starting to draw the next part, let's see how big the enozars will be!

The return of Growshi
Posted 6 years agoTransforming my Yoshi fan characters into true original characters (with my own custom lizard species) was something I really needed to feel truly unique, but I feel that not everybody is happy with this change and miss my old muscle Yoshi art.
I was thinking about that earlier this week and found a solution: bring back Growshi, the green and buff anthro Yoshi in red shorts!
I will give him back the role of PowerUP mascot and use him for commercials of their products.
I have already a bunch of sketches of him and you should see a complete drawing soon! :3

500 Watchers!!! :D
Posted 6 years agoI've reached lately the awesome amount of 500 watchers!!!
I'm glad to see that 50% of watchers from my previous account ( Growshi ) have followed me into this new adventure, full of growing lizards!
Thank you for your support! :D
To celebrate it, I'm preparing an interactive competition between Yash and Yetshi as a new "Muscle Growth Show": you will decide which twin has to be the biggest enozar of the show! :3

All my fetish art since 2008, website open!
Posted 6 years agoI mentioned the creation of a website grouping all my fetish art (muscle and foot growth/inflation) multiple times, but today, I'm happy to announce it's finally open to everyone!
After beta testing (released by members of the Discord server), you should have a good experience of browsing art from 2008 to now, thanks to a bunch of filters that will help you to find what you're looking for. You also have the possibility to download drawings and all pages of comics at once. Comments section are also present under each drawing if you want to leave feedback.
There's still missing content that will be added in the near future (old art of 2008/2009 mostly), and a bunch of translations could be made on art containing French texts.
You'll be informed each time an update is done.
Anyway, here's the link: https://fetishart.mctaylis.fr/
Enjoy your visit!

Sharing ideas: Discord server, Patreon and rewards
Posted 7 years agoHaving a Discord server for my silly community is a project I have in mind since last two months.
It would be nice to have a place where watchers can chat with each other, share art and other stuff, don't you think?
Of course, there will be rules to respect in order to warn you before getting hit by my ban hammer, with a few moderators, and also special channels for special people.
I'm thinking about granting higher permissions in order to offer multiple things, but I have no idea how to choose who deserve these permissions or not.
That's why I thought about something else: Patreon.
I wouldn't ask for monthly payment but payment per creation. Per comics, precisely.
I have plenty of ideas for comics but they're complex to made, and I often cancel them (I canceled like 10 ideas last year).
Getting a bit of money to complete them would surely increase my motivation, but should I ask payment per page or per the whole comic? Not sure yet, need your opinion about that.
About rewards, I thought of these:
* An access to the comics sketches and progress previews (on Patreon and Discord).
* An access to a special Discord channel where I share all my works in progress (drawings, comics, trades/commissions, ...).
* The possibility to vote and discuss about next creations and propose your ideas (Discord only, but could be done for Patreon next comics).
* The chance to get a cameo of your characters in comics.
* Private raffles
All of these will have a price, high or not, depending of the permissions given. It could be something from $1 to $10 or more, depends of how much you're ready to pay for that too.
Anyway, this is just ideas for now and your opinion is really important for me to take a final decision. Give me your thoughts in the comment section! ;)

A patreon to support comics only, with neat rewards
From the poll results, you are more than 50 ready to pay me if I open a Patreon account and that means a lot, thank you!I wouldn't ask for monthly payment but payment per creation. Per comics, precisely.

Let's start the new year with free sketches!
Posted 7 years agoHappy new year! Hope you stay healthy and have lot of joy during these new 12 months!
As mentioned in a previous journal, the register form to try to win a free sketch is now online!
If you're new or if you have skipped this info: each week, a random participant will be chosen to win a free sketch request, which means there are going to be 52 winners per year.
If you win, there are also a few rules to respect in your request (no NSFW, only 1 character, ...) and I'm free to refuse and ask for a different one if I don't feel comfortable with it.
Follow the link and fill the register form to join the list: http://sketches.mctaylis.fr/
Once you've registered your username, you can't register again! Don't be greedy and let everyone have a chance!
Thanks and good luck!

Rawr! I'm an older lizard!
Posted 7 years agoToday is a special day for me, because I'm turning 29! Yep, I'm an older enozar, an even sillier one! D:
So a big THANK YOU to all birthday wishes I already received, and also to all the future ones that will come after this journal (it's okay if you forgot)!
I receive less gifts than when I was a kid, but the best gift I can have is my awesome community, so thank you for being here guys! (I should find a name for my community members, don't you think?)

Thoughts on free sketches
Posted 7 years agoI notice many artists open sketch commissions for free, but most of the time, they get super busy because they get too many requests and are forced to close them very quickly.
Though I want to propose this option for people with no money, but with some rules.
* Because I don't want to be overwhelmed with requests, a free sketch will be done once per week only.
* Once you get a request, you can't ask for another one.
* Sketch size won't exceed 600x600px, high resolution belong to paid commissions.
My idea is to have a list where people can enter their username or email address (hosted on my website), and a function will automatically and randomly pick a name, then change its state to disappear from the list.
With this solution, I'm sure to keep track of who want a sketch and who have already got one.
I'm not going to open requests before I'm not 100% sure about doing this, but what do you guys think about this? I'm curious.
