Yeah I'm not here much anymore. I don't really make art nowadays, between work and my health. My chronic pain condition fucks up my hands a lot, even just a doodle once in a while causes quite a lot of pain. I'm working on it, but I don't push it specifically. I'm tired anyhow, work takes most of my time.

2024 was a rough year, man. Real rough. But it is what it is. Maybe I'll start working on things to post again, maybe not. I doubt it.

But hey, I'm alive. I see the cool stuff y'all make.

I'm only posting this cause I wanna ramble.

Guess who scored some concert tickets with a buddy of mine for end of May?! This motherfucker. Got tickets to Slipknot with Cypress Hill and Ho99o9 and I am HYPED. Gonna be my treat for after the absolutely insane work stretch I got coming up for end of April through the first half of May. I got 105 hours of work scheduled in a 13-day period lmfao HELP.

I’ll love the money though. It’s been nice having a strong income flow even if I’m suuuuper tired. I'll get a commission or two soon to celebrate, but who knows when I'll get around to that.

Seeing my doctor tomorrow before work at least, gonna set up a proper plan to keep this chronic pain in check. Reminds me I need to go to the library and print off my name change paperwork to get her to sign at the appointment.

Hope y’alls Easter was aight. I’ve been busy as FUCK lmao. Been actually seeing old friends at work though and that’s been really nice. I agreed to a last minute overnight for tomorrow night just cause it’s my chance to get a college friend back into a theatre freelancing for the first time, since she didn’t get the lucky start in the industry I did and I’ve been sending her contacts to all my connections and TD/PM friends.

It’s partially selfish, to have someone else take some of my gigs and take a bit of pressure off my plate. I’ve had so much people ask me to do, always hard to say no when friends’ community theatres are going full steam.

Halfway through May I’m just gonna fucking sleep for 4 days straight.

Yeah I'm busy with work. I live in a big city again, I'm back to work non fucking stop. I went to Furnal Equinox last weekend, and even midway through the con was running off for work. I'm tired as all fuck. Still full of love, still full of hate, realizing how similar they are, and half aching for some asshole I used to love and now hate to come bug me again so I can verbally rip his head off one more time.

I'm tired lmao. I'm writing this at 2am, with a 6am alarm approaching fast for work tomorrow too. I got a cool computer now though so let's play games if you catch me not actually at work for once.

I took a fuckton of photos at FE, and have been editing them. They've been turning out aight. Half considering going through the effort to post them on this site. Probably not. My Twitter is mechaMelancholy if you want them. I post more there.

I'm not around much, I show up sometimes to drop some doodles or once in a blue moon a commission I got when I've got a bit of spare money. I don't draw much anymore in life, it's not what I do. I say I only have one job, being a freelancer, but really I've got an AV company I work for, 3 AV staffing companies that snatch me for work, and a few different theatres I freelance at as well who all seem to be snatching at me too - plus another interview for a theatre tomorrow, cause I stack up my work stuff.

But hey, I exist sometimes. Hit me up on my discord if you want it, I'm a lot more active there. I wanna say I'll have plenty of time to draw stuff in December and January, when AV season dies, but it seems I might have people after me to fill up that empty time too. Who knows what life is bringing me right now.
