so its been awhile. hi! Life has thrown me quite the few rollercoaster moments but i am still gettin by. Im working two jobs irl and attempting to get back into my art and sl stuff. Right now i have a few avatars almost complete (nothing new) but i am so proud of these i am gonna try my damndest to finish and get them out on the market. teaser pics will be uploaded soon im also going to hold a coloring contest for the first one. ( if you play secondlife) i am gonna request unique designs for the limited edition versions of said avatars with a monetary prize to the the purdiest designs, details TBD

Life has been super busy. Been staying away from the computer more n more to take care of rl stuff. Family health issues seem to just be bombarding me from every direction so i've been handling that, plus my kids are a constant time eater. The boyfriend has been hogging my time too. We recently moved him out of his roommates place and are in the process of moving in together so its been an adventure to say the least.

While I've been away from SL for the most part, i do log in at least once a week to handle customer issues and try to release something new.
In all honesty I have like... over 10 avatars 98% complete plus a crapload of random body parts, I just can't seem to force myself to get that last 2% finished. I keep trying to update and improve shit but i'm just dredging the effort out. It will get done though. In the meantime my business is being handled by my very capable staff so I'm not too worried about that. I do feel bad for not being more active though. My mind & body are just overwhelmed with mental and physical exhaustion. I try to get two steps ahead only to be knocked 3 steps back. Its just blah.

There's a few more severe issues going on in my life but I don't like to openly post my personal problems on the internet so I'll just leave it at that. As my closer friends know I just withdraw from everyone and keep to myself to deal with things til theyre resolved. Thank you those who care, for your patience in my inactivity and silence. Sometimes the best remedy to a problem is time.

So I'm thinkin of opening up drawn commissions but i second guess my skills constantly so to help bring my confidence up i wanna practice with diff species and characters. throw me some ref links so mayhaps i can practice a bit and decide on prices n such...nude or clothed is fine, im not sure how full body im gonna go but def headshots so post whatever youd like and specify nude/clothed whatever and i may take it into consideration. i wont do all but i may pick a few

Okay, so...this has been bugging me for awhile and I've managed to try and bite my tongue but I just feel I need to get it out and then perhaps it would alleviate me from anymore inner nerdrage when I come across another instance that makes me want to slap someone.

What exactly is the point of having a "public journal"? I understand the need to vent and possibly gain feedback on certain situations, but I mean those journals of people bitching, whining and otherwise complaining about their life and questionable choices/actions. They complain about something someone did, something they did to provoke a response, etc then get defensive when the backlash of negative responses floods in. If you don't want to be judged, don't put the information out there. If you're just looking for a bunch of yes men and women to pat your shoulder and tell you the world is wrong! Its all their fault and none of your own....talk to the mirror, baby.

Newton's Law said every action has an equal and opposite reaction. So whatever it is you are bitching about, you started even in its most innocent ,good intentioned, minute form.

People are judgmental, cruel and will wait for any excuse to cut you down. Even the people you trust the most , while telling you to your face you are right and everyone is wrong for thinking such things, are secretly telling their friends exactly what they think.

Popularity is a double edged sword. The more people seem to like you, the more people are waiting for the perfect way to drag you off the pedestal you cling so tightly to. Bottom line, keep your secrets secret. If you have a problem with your life, change it.. or don't, but hide it well. Passively stating something bothering you, doesn't "really" bother you just to save face and be strong in front of your fans..is redundant. It obviously bothered you enough to write about it so whatever that little annoyance trying to get a response out of you was, succeeded.

found and treated 7 medium to very small paper wasp nests left over from summer. As well as several mud dauber wasp nests with some very nice in tact cells. i'm going to be turning these into jewelry and anythin else i can figure out. once this batch is done ill be putting them up for sale.

So it's been no secret i just got out of a 3 year relationship with my fiance. It's been super depressing SO to cheer myself up I'm willing to trade free stuff from my shop and maybe even do some custom pieces in exchange for art of meeko doing stuff (preferably naughty things since i'm uber lonely now) anyone interested and ill post up a current reference of meeko. I'm only going to accept a few choice artists since i dont wanna be emptying my store for quicky napkin doodles ;D

charlotte has passed away. sometime in the night she sat down and died. her babies have not yet hatched but theyre safe n sound still. i had hoped since she was inside, being well fed and out of the elements she had a better chance of survival, but the info i found said they tend to lay eggs at the end of their life cycle so she was just an old lady. i am sad but happy her last few weeks were spent being spoiled. i know its odd to get attached to bugs but spiders are wonderful creatures and ones ive grown up with. i look forward to spring when the little ones hatch....

Been suffering an artistic slump lately. My computer is failing and I have less n less desire to log into SL to maintain my business. I want to go back to working with my hands since my health issues are getting worse and light from the screen is killing me. So I'm thinking of making entire fursuits irl, perhaps sell fursuit parts since i sell furry parts in SL. Maybe get back into doing sculpture and other prosthesis. I feel as if my college training in special FX is being wasted since I no longer have a desire to work on movies (maybe). With the new house I'll have a nice work area set up in my basement. Plus the move into the new house is kicking my ass since its balls cold outside and im doing it by myself with no help.

Ok So... a few know that a few weeks ago i caught an ungodly huge spider in my house. kept it in a jar and fed it random moths,flies bugs I caught before it got too cold outside to find any. Well she was rather...fat for awhile and this morn I go look and shes skinny as hell. Im thinking "Omg wtf I know she can't be THAT hungry.." Look closer and she's made a huge egg sack in her web. Sooo I have officially named her Charlotte. And i'm excited and scared shitless of when the eggs hatch caus I will NOT want to open the container again lmao I'll post pics once I get a clear shot. I was rather hoping to set up a proper cage for her since spiders/tarantulas have always had a long standing as pets in my family... Le sigh... guess it'll have to wait til after winter..
