Greetings all.

As of yesterday, we've now officially entered into the start of 2025.

So far, nothing big has happened, except that it's gotten colder.

As for last year, it was a mixed bag of both good and bad experiences.


For some good things, I got to see some exciting movies, hang out with some buddies, see my nephew and niece during the holidays, been working towards getting myself in good shape, and overall, just going about my business.


Of course, not everything was a ray of sunshine.


Lost my Mom back during June 30th in the middle of Summer, and things have been so tough without her. It still breaks my heart that she's gone, but I can't let it hold me back from moving forward.

Next to that, I had a scary experience with high blood sugar levels which had nearly killed me. Spent most of the month of August recovering at the hospital. It was a tough time since I wasn't used to staying there, but after enough treatment was done, I recovered just enough to where I finally got released so I could go back home.

Spent a couple days at home getting my strength back with exercise and a proper diet, and watching Darkwing Duck to keep myself entertained while I waited for the day of my doctor's appointment so I could get the doctor's note I need just to go back to work.

All in all, 2024 was a hectic year.

Now that 2025 has arrived, I need to be prepared for what lies ahead.

It'll be tough, but I've got to step up and take that chance.

He was the iconic voice of Darth Vader from Star Wars, the voice of Mufasa from the Lion King, and he was a respected and renown actor throughout history. He was loved by many fans and will forever be remembered as one of the greatest of all time.

Today at around 6 to 6:36AM, my Mom had unfortunately passed away in her bed at Carle Hospital.

She was having stomach problems that were causing her pain every time she ate something. She went in for surgery on May 3rd and was supposed to have it done and be back home recovering on the 4th. But unfortunately, that's when things started getting worse. It turns out the surgeon who did the operation had accidentally overlooked an infection and was already too late to stop it.

So she was forced to be kept in the hospital for much longer, up until today....

Various doctors and nurses worked their hardest to try and keep her stable. At first everything seemed to be alright, she was looking better, but right when all was well, her vital numbers started dropping down and heart rate was slowing down.

By then, she couldn't be sustained any longer, so me and dad had to make the tough decision of......letting her go :_;

It was a heartbreaking experience for us since we never thought we would lose her so soon, especially during the summer.

But I'm making a promise to myself to not let my grief and loss effect my focus in any way.

I have to stay strong, for my dad, my big brother, my relatives, and my friends.

But rest assured, Mom will always be missed. ;_;
