Posted 7 months agosomeone close to me died two days ago. i will be flying out to tend to my grandmother (his mother) in a few days.
work will be slow. i'm so sorry. i had so many WIPS and things I wanted to work on this month and now everything is a haze. i'm sorry for the continued delay.WIPS coming soon [my guts are exploding]
Posted 9 months agoi finally scheduled to see a gastroengolotigist, finally found a good one within our insurance. i don't talk abt it a lot on here besides calling it health problems but i have a LOT wrong with my stomach. and it's gotten so bad it's hard to work, it's hard to go outside, it's hard to wake up. work has been slow because two jobs is already a lot, two jobs + health issues? bad
i've gotten a good amount of WIPs updated, so i'll be sending out some of that, some finished pieces...as always, if i haven't gotten back to u in the last month, just hit me up again. chances are i've worked on your piece and it's close to being finished, or i've updated it in some way, i've just been behind in communication bc of pain. thank u as always for ur support and patience <3

Posted 10 months agohi everyone, i've replied to some of the notes i got, some i haven't been able to yet. thank u for ur patience. i'll be streaming after christmas a few times and sending out some WIPS but for the next few days, it's gonna be me working on christmas gifts <3 i hope u have wonderful holidays whatever u celebrate (or if u don't celebrate at all i hope ur dec is lovely <3it's almost 2025...

Hello hi, i'm sorry for the long period of silence. i had a lot of health problems and personal issues cropped up. i've had to do a lot of of changing to my eating and medication and just my life overall. i'm doing okay now, but honestly i wasn't for a few months and it was very hard. it's still hard, but i'm doing better.
i've been posting way more on my twitter and bluesky so follow me there. i also have a discord too anyone is welcome to join, as long as they abide by the rules <3 link here!
ive been answering notes as much as i can and i'll be getting some WIPs out soon and doing some stream stuff as usual. def join my discord and sign up for stream alerts if u like seeing those, it rly helps! since picarto is such a slow website lol ...

Posted 2 years agohey guys. so i'll post a more detailed post abt this b/c i want to break down a schedule but if you read my last journal, i recently had a death of someone close to me and i'm not doing very great right now.
but as per usual life doesn't stop. this year has just been really rough financially (as it has been for everyone) and i'm trying to just once and for all pay off *all* my current payment + overdue amounts on my bills.
so my goal is by next week, i want to have several queue pieces done (i have few that are like 85% done) and i want to try and get several big pieces worked on to make $1,000 by the end of this month.
About $350 (maybe a bit more) of that is our water bill for both the past/july, $320 (maybe a bit more as well) for our electricity bill for the past/july, my phone bill which is $70 and the remainder i want to use to put about $100 down on our credit card (i payed off one entirely, it's a higher goal than usual but i just want to enter into august as debt free as possible. and the remaining bit of money would go towards updating our dog's shots b/c she's due soon and putting into savings / maybe doing a lil birthday dindin for myself <3
so yeah--i'll be hosting some streams, posting YCHS, and of course you can always follow me on twitter (even if it's burning alive) at http://twitter.com/slimemech
i'm gonna stream TWO COMMISSION SLOTS today. one is a PWYW (from doodles to fullbodies to TF pieces) and the other is a doodle commission. i'd love to fill the slots today and get as much done as possible.
as i always say i am so incredibly grateful to the people who support me + the patience and kindness they've shown.

Posted 2 years agoi forgot to update here i was on vacation for my relative's wedding! i'm back, feeling pretty well rested b/c when i wasn't hanging out with family i SLEPT. and i ATE. and it was good.

Posted 2 years agoi had a really good time, it felt amazing to be back in the con scene after like 5 years of not being able to go bc covid/moving/finances cx i got a nice lil haul, saw some amazing cosplay and had some great chats/laughs!!
thanks to the ppl who comm'd me so i could go, i'll get back to working monday! right now i am SO FUCKING SORE from being on my feet for so long in my big heeled boots LOL.
i will be gone for abt 5 days in abt a week for my relative's wedding c: but i'll be working up until then! i'll make an official post abt that later.

june has been very busy and i was sick for quite a few days during it, but i've been doing things here and there! i have plans to send a bunch of WIPS out tomorrow as well as stream tomorrow as well
as always , i want to thank you for your patience
if you see me putting a few YCHs up it's to cover the cost of my phone bill + a small day trip to a con i'm going to (i haven't been to a con in years bc the pandemic/money) and also just to travel for a relative's wedding. i'm trying not to put a lot up so i don't get overwhelmed
i'll also be posting some backlog pieces so yeah, keep an eye out for those !! lots of fun stuff
