I want to take a break from large pixel dolls.
Posted 4 years agoI miss pixelling small pixels. I put the same kind of love into them, and theyre equally as detailed as my bigger dolls.
After my last commission, I will retire that large of a size for now. The large dolls take me months to complete and while the smaller ones require a lot of effort, it is not as herculean as the effort I put into my large ones.
I'd like to draw smaller dolls than what I do now. I am just so burned out from it.
I also want to market more of my painted works, which I have been working to make as naunced and good as my pixel dolls. In the end, I'd like to be known more for my painted works rather than my pixel art.

Interest check: Pixel doll slots
Posted 4 years agoI am currently clearing my queue for pixel doll auctions but I was wondering if people would be interested in fixed priced com slots for large pixel dolls.
There will be a price increase, likely between 150-200 ball park area.
Let me know if there is an interest, or rather I just continue w/ pixel auctions?
Pixel dolls take me an ultra long time compared to my usual work. It USUALLY takes 2-3 months upon starting from sketch; but I give my clients waiting room of up to 6-8 months because I pack a lot of detail in a tiny space.
