As some of you know I am a fairly proficient writer (PLENTY of room for improvement BUT I think good enough to perhaps try and work on my dream project). And as im doing some of the brainstorming for the beginning of it, my mind wandered to the idea of Patreon...the idea of getting a touch of money (I know i'd never make much) and getting a few fans to help keep me motivated is very enticing.

I always have trouble with motivation so getting a handful of people at least who are willing to throw down actual money for something im making would be an INCREDIBLE morale boost.

Do you think this is possibly a good idea? Or am i wasting my time?



I of course wouldn't start the Patreon until I at least had about 1/4 of my first book of a series finished...not gonna ask people to throw down money on a project that isn't even started!

Working out suuuucks...so sore and i barely do anything!? (I do like 25 push-up and sit-up and squats and arm curls with a 10 pound weight till I feel like being done). Learning how to drive sucks! (I should have learned how to drive long ago and i'm ashamed I don't have my license when im almost 22...its a long story about why i don't have it)

I've never dated anyone IRL...its always been online which I have come to the realization isn't enough for me. I'm socially a cripple and more shy or reserved then a shut in! Also...I think i suffer from depression...don't want to go to the doctor and get diagnosed however cause of all the flak i would get for it. (I think i have depression cause I constantly keep feeling like i'm too empty/excessively tired to do anything despite getting tons of rest...even for things I WANT to do)

At least its not all bad.

Hopefully in the next few months the working out gets rid of this little tummy i've got going (still pretty skinny but i hate this little bit of belly fat i've got). Family got a new awesome car I actually want to drive/could actually use often if i got a licence and im making progress. I've got college next semester, and THIS fucking time i actually want to go and have come upon the horrible realization im getting older so i'm gonna work my ass off on it and get good grades.

but the dating and depression thing? Yea still got no solution for that! Ah well...one battle at a time eh?

I have been having issues with my audio as of late and i was wondering if any of you dudes knew how to work with microphones. Are there any tips on how to talk into the microphone and the filter i own that i could help me fix crackling?

Should the mic and filter be really close to my mouth?

Any advice would be welcome...ive looked online but i cant really find anything helpful

Its a long story...but to put it in a nice short little blib.

My moms rabbits turned out to be male and female instead of two males like we were told. She had a litter of 6. Its was late and didnt know what to do so we let them stay with mom (who is strange and very high strung). 3 died of being trampled by mom.

The other 3 fought hard...but passed soon after as well as we don't think they were fed by mom at all.

We separated them from mom after that first day (after finding the others dead via trampling) and tried to take care of them as best we could.


Fighter (Which was the name i gave him)...the last to die was a good little buddy. He was the biggest and healthiest of the litter and lasted a whole day longer then the rest...he died warm and fed on kitten formula snuggled in some of his mammas pulled out nest fur against a tiny little stuffed animal i had from when i was really little. He was very feisty and loved to squeak at us during feedings.




I hope i never have to bury so many dead little bodies again.

I have 2 pet rabbits...I am allergic to them :(

What the title says!

As a few of you know I work at a mattress store. And when I was moving mattresses yesterday I pulled a muscle in my shoulder...and then I slept wrong messing with my neck.

I am so uncomfortable its not even funny...its not really pain...but nothing I do will get me comfortable >.<

It hard to focus on anything D:

At least i have a few days of work for this to get better.

I've always wondered this...and as I'm gonna be commissioning art of the human form of my dragon sona eventually once he's finished its something im probably gonna be hitting on again soon.

Anyone got any thoughts on this?

Alright...for that few guys who were sorta interested, I'll post some background details for my novel i'm working on ^_^

I guess I'll start with the background/History with the species of the main character...Dragons!

This little background story is done by a dwarf! In a pub like usual, after being convinced by some young dwarves to talk about dragons.

"Oh fiiine I'll tell ya lad about Dragons...which kind? ...What do you mean you don't know!? Oi...fine I guess we'd be starting at the beginning then. Dragons existed long ago...long before Humans that's for sure. Though there are few who remember this fact. Too most, dragons and humans are just sister species, intimately connected and attached too one another in more ways then either species is aware.

Once...Long ago, Dragons were mighty beings! Beings of greats size and magical power, able to weave storms and create earthquakes or even burn the skies with their might. But like I said...that was long ago. And to put things simply...those dragons are dead...long dead.

What you would refer to as dragons now are a completely different species from the beasts of old! Though they do count them as ancestors. No...what you have now is the product of dragons breeding with humans.

*There is some ruckus from some of the younger dwarves*

Ey! Shut the hell up back there! now...where...where was I. Ah, yes you were all getting confused about how big 50 foot long scaled beasties could breed with humans.

*The older dwarf rolled his eyes taking a swig from his mug*

Well like I said before...Dragons were powerful magical creatures! Able to do all sorts of crazy stuff...like shapeshift their forms! Well dragons were rather well known for making half-dragon kids for fun...frisky fucks they were! well...they had kids with humans...and those had kids with humans and ect and ect...

Well after a few hundred generations...those decedents stopped looking like half dragon/human mutants or odd looking humans with funny eyes or claws. And just...started looked like bleedin humans!

But they weren't humans they were both Dragon and Human and could switch between the two at will! And just as the humans started killing pretty much anything non-human you got these new bleedin dragons! Beings who switched between these...human sized semi-humanoid dragon form and a completely normal looking human form!

Well...as you can imagine the lucky gits stayed nice and low while humanity freaked the heck out and killed damn near HALF the magical creatures in the world! Including the last of the true dragons we talked about. I think humans have a story of it...I think it was...Saint George and the dragon? Bah...I have no idea if that's right....

*There is a voice from the back of the pub*

"What!? Have I met one? Yea I did once! Funny lass...pretty little thing who just so happened to save me from a bleedin Troll! Poor bastard had no idea what happened. Little pretty girl suddenly turning into a angry flying lizard with teeth and claws AND enough magical power to put down an elf Sorcerer! Dumb bastard didn't know what to do as he go tossed a good 20 feet into the trunk of a tree from a bolt of freaking lightning from the lasses hands...err, claws."

*The old dwarf laughed taking a swig of his giant mug*

"Then she started talking in this weird human tongue...English, I think it be called and tried to put these weird sticky cloth things on my cuts. Then she flew off waving goodbye...putting this weird little human device that played odd music in her ears!"

*The dwarf grew serious a moment thinking to himself...he waited a few moments before drawing everyone to lean their heads in*

"Alright...that's pretty much it for their history...but, i've heard some rumors about them. You lads might actually get to meet a lot more dragons then you'd ever thought you would in the coming years!

The elves are...pushing to be letting the species into the Council of Elder Kin...But its causing a lot of chaos. Apparently they're trying to weigh the risks versus the rewards. There is way more dragons then most people think...apparently when the human's population exploded a few centuries ago theirs exploded with it!"

*There are murmurs throughout the bar*

"Yea...a few Hundred of millions of them worldwide I hear...way, way more then any other single magical species! And they're starting to get organized! So yea...don't be surprised if in a few years you hear that they've been formally included into the council of Elder Kin and we get a few ambassadors!"

*There is a lot of whispers in the pub as the older dwarf leans back draining his mug and slamming it back down on the table with a loud burp*

"Alright! I've told ya my damn stories and my thoughts on the subject...go get me my bleedin beer like you promised!"

Basically...I'm writing a fantasy novel.(set in the modern world)

Would anyone wanna hear about it and talk with me about it via another journal?
