2025 - been a while
Posted 7 months agoHi everyone, if you're reading this - it's been a WHILE!
I lost my love of drawing due to some deep struggles finding a job in the art world, and the difficulty and stress from going to art school and how it impacted me.
Additionally, my health has been an issue for me and getting diagnoses has been nearly impossible. Day to day living is very tiring. I had gotten a 9-5 job in marketing, but it wasn't worth the detriment to my mental health or physical health, so I left. I'm now doing smaller forms of self-employment to make money and am extremely lucky to have a partner who helps me.
Now, I'm finally coming back to drawing after stopping for an extremely long time (except maybe once or twice). My favorite thing to do is sketch so I'll probably just upload unfinished sketches here.
I'd also consider doing some sketch commissions if anyone is interested (feel free to send me a note).
Most of my journals are some sort of return from hiatus, I'm noticing LOL. Now, I'm prioritizing my well-being and love of art. So let's hope this one sticks!

I've updated my icon and bio and want to breathe some life back into this account. I will probably mostly be drawing personal art and will only occasionally open a commission or two from now on.
Even though there's a new sona at the forefront, don't worry — I still love and of course will still draw primates :)
I'd also like to introduce a feral sona at some point but haven't decided.
Anyways, thanks for sticking around, hope to post more art soon!

Custom Commissions: OPEN

Life has been, well, life, and I need to save up $1500 for late this summer. I'd like to try and get to that goal by doing 10 custom fullbody commissions!
Base price starts at $150; something complex, or multiple forms, will cost more (additional pricing can be worked out through conversation). Please let me know if you are interested and I'll start gathering what I need to get customs done!

I have been gone a while but will now be open for a handful of commission slots. I am going to start with 5-- please send me a note or comment here so we can chat if you're interested!
This time around, I will be doing strictly experimental commissions. I will still be drawing characters, and in my style-- it's just that I am briefly abandoning the typical "headshot/halfbody/fullbody" format and going for more of a "I'll draw something worth your budget" sort of thing, with artistic freedom that still adheres to the concept you are looking for. More discussion can certainly be had if you are interested!

It's been a while!!! I have had a LOT going on in my life and it's been pretty crazy, but finally I'll be able to reopen commissions and get back into the swing of things! ^^

The only things I can't take right now are the two ref sheet options (general and custom). I can still take custom fullbody designs, sketches etc!
I am also opening an experimental option. You name your price-- whether that's $30 or $200-- and give me an idea, and I draw you something in that vein that adds up to the price paid. I'd be happy to discuss this concept with you further if you are interested!

I'm back from my very brief hiatus and will be starting back up on commissions!

Sketch Commission Openings

I am currently on a bit of a vacation, for the last week and the next two weeks. Once it's over, I'll be returning to regular commissions (I have two that need finishing for then!).
For now, I think something I'd like to do is sketch commissions (anthro, sfw characters only) that would be during the next two weeks, just as something fun to do. I'd charge around $30-40 per sketch based on character complexity/difficulty, and can add flat color for another $15!
You can see some uncolored sketches in my scraps, and can peek through my gallery for occasional colored sketches.

As I wrap up my commissions for May, I will be taking slots for June. I have to reduce the number as I have a few bigger styles of commission lined up already, which take much longer. This time I'll be opening 6 slots total, instead of 8. Commissions will begin mid-June and will wrap up over the course of one month (don't want to give exact dates, as edits, changes, etc., often alter the art timeline!).

Also a reminder that my Patreon is up and running, and I'll be posting process videos of the commissions taken as well as occasional WIPs over the next month! ^^
