I was sitting here doing some math and it seems that if I can't find any one else that wants to go down with me, I probably won't be going at all.

Here are the numbers I have come up with:

Unless there is anyone that is going that would like to share a room. ...as you can see it really cuts down on the cost of the room, leaving you more spending money for the con itself. (i'm not very picky...I mean really, I could sleep in the closet with my sleeping bag for god sakes. O.O )

wow...this made me smile quite a bit...LOL!!!

Ok I am in dire need of some help with this program (Macromedia Flash 8). I know the basics of the program and I am fairly good at figuring the codeing out and stuff, but I have a few questions.

When importing a picture into the program to use as an object, what is the simplest way to get the background to be transparent so that there isn't a big white square around it?? is it possible to set a transparent color in the flash program?? or do I have to find a photo editor that supports a transparency option and then save it and THEN import it?
...and if I do have to make it transparent prior to importing it, what is the simplest program that I could obtain in doing so???


...also any tips that you may know or have that might be helpful to a beginner to this program, please don't hesitate to post it for me.

So as a few of you know I brought my best friend Adryan (she went by "Starfish") to Oklacon with me this year. When we first left for the con she was still partial on a decision whether or not she wanted to be a fur. After the con she had decided that it was something that she could get into simply cause she seen how much fun we really do have.
So when we got back we sorta talked it out and she picked an animal that she thought suited her best and I decided to draw up some simple sketches to portray her character in a physical sense.

Anyway, all I wanted to do in this journal is to let everyone that had the chance to meet her and would like to stay in contact with her know that she now has an FA page set up.

I'm packed and ready to go, all I need to do before leaveing is cash my check and stop by wal-nuts to get any neccessary munchies and drinkage to keep us going.

We don't have a very long trip ahead of us (3 hours at most) so we were thinking about leaving around 1pm or 2pm, so we will be arriving just in time to beat the sunset. I look forward to seeing everyone that is going, and I will see the rest of you when I get back. *waves a paw*

Only 5 days left and I'm so behind on finishing commissions before I go. *sighs* oh well...I guess it will be here when I get back. I apologize to those who have been patiently putting up with me procrastinating all the time. I tend to do so A LOT. *nods*

I look forward to seeing everyone that may be going this year. And for the first time I will be able to do a little fursuiting of my own. Just look for the white tiger running around and come give me some hugs. (please no groping or dry humping, it's just uncool unless I know you personally).

I was planning on bringing all the extra paws and tails and stuff to sell in the auction (mostly Charity Auction, maybe one or two items for the artist auction), but I am not sure about lugging all that crap down there. *shrugs* I don't know, maybe I'll bring a couple for the charity auction but that's about it I guess.

This year I plan on staying in a tent instead of the A-Frames, but don't hesitate to invite me to any partying that may be going on in any of them. *grins* I Love to hang out and I'm a night owl, so I will be hanging out to the wheee hours of the night. hehe.

In the light of the past year, it has come to my attention that my life tends to attract very bad luck, or at least very bad choices. A few things I had absolutely no control over, (like the tree falling on my house). And a few other things I just made very poor decisions with, (like choosing the wrong people to commission for art - Example: paying upfront for art from 3 different artists well over 8 months ago, and still not recieving anything.) It's as if they think I am going to forget I payed them or something.

On the other hand there are quite a few artist that I have great respect for that I have commissioned in the past. They were loyal to holding their part of the deal, and if it wasn't done in a timely manner they made sure to inform me that I had not been forgotten.
 HAZARD being on top of this list of excellent artists, I give a full recommendation to anyone who might want to commission her. (thanks again for all the wonderful art you have done for me in the past Hazard. *hugs* I look foreward to commissioning you again some day.)


OK OK...sheesh! straying off the main subject here...
But anyway, what I was trying too say is that in the light of all the bad shit that has happened to me in the past year, I think that things are starting to smoothin out and maintain it's course for a steady ride. I've got muhself a new job, (even though it kinda sucks, it still pays the bills) and I am finally getting my stuff in order on the commissions that I had taken a while back. (sorry to all those on my list...I had a "secret" commission to do that has taken me way longer than it should have. :P --I believe that he will let me post pics of it once he recieves it here in a few days--).
SOOOOOoooooo..... all in all things are getting better and I just wanted to say that I am happy to be back amongst the furs that I have come to know and love. *BIG HUGS FOR ALL*, you all help me get through my everyday life.

as usual my life has taken another turn for the worst. Every time I think things will get better, it's always somethin that proves me wrong.

I hate to have to do this but I really don't have any options... As of this moment I must drop all commissions that have not pre-paid. If you have already paid I will have your stuff finished and sent soon. I know I am probably gonna make a few people angry...a couple I can think of right off hand. but I do apologize. Until the economy gets better and jobs around this area start opening up, I am pretty much screwed. Gas prices prevent me from being able to get a job in wichita due to the fact that it is 10 dollars in gas there, and another 10 back.

I really wish I had another option to this... but since I can't stay living here, and I can't afford to move, it doesn't give me much choice. I must hope for a f-ing miracle, or maybe I'll get lucky and a plane will fall from the sky and crash land right down on top of me, puting an end to my sad and pathetic life. SHIT...with my luck I wouldn't be suprised.

Well, I suppose this is goodbye for a while then...

First I would like to apologize to anyone who I owe commissions, trades, prizes, n such....These past few months have been hell for me ever since my roommate lost her job. I Have got so far behind in my bills that I had to start working 60+ hours a week just to survive.
