I've been playing too much Mario Golf on my 3DS guys, help me, and by help me, I mean you play it too and compete with me, teehee.

So, I'm loving Bravely Default, except for one little thing, and spoiler warning here.

If you want to 100% the game and new game+, you NEED to do the good ending, but the good ending is possible to miss, and do the bad ending instead, fucking over my 70 hours of effort forever. So it's Final Fantasy Tactics Advance all over again. This time I said fuck it and looked up which ending was the right one. Turns out in doing so to ensure I don't fuck up my ability to 100% has ruined the story fully and I know the ending twists now.

So, in other words, thanks Square Enix, so happy you put a point of no return right at the end of the fucking game to piss off completionists and make us have to spoil the ending if we want to experience the whole game without playing it from the start again.

I've started playing demon's souls again, I forgot how fun this game was.

Also, not gonna lie, just used the dupe glitch to get the magic for each boss soul on just base new game. Not using em for souls though, nope, still grinding if I wanna upgrade weapons, only duping souls to get them spells, cause I can't choose between fireball and fire storm.

That's a thing I did, all achievements, all spells, most weapons and armors, not all the random shit from Dark Souls 1 the crows give you, dunno what to farm for petrified somethings to get those yet.

So, yeah, gonna be playing some Demon's Souls now, DS2 made me miss it :I

So, now that I've done a few runs with a few different for fun and serious builds, including my abomination to nature Tump, and my main character McStabbheimer I thought I'd give me opinion on the game.

The dodge roll seems... diffrent, the timing seems off from what I'm used to from Dark Souls 1, not to mention the poise, I am getting stun locked by things with knives if I dodge wrong while in Havel's, what?

My only real gripe though is it seemed they went over board with covenants that are invasion heavy that are less fun to duel, and more just there to be a pain in the ass for anyone trying to fight optional bosses. Along with the limited enemy spawn and limited amount of cracked red eye orbs you can find from drops as such, I'm seeing barely any Reds, and way too many ass rats and bell lamers. I mean, I go through the easier of the rat areas, and on my way to the boss, just running and avoiding all enemies, I was summoned seven times.

I just feel it's a little ridiculous, and not leaving Sun bros or the Dark Covenant to join their group just so I can clear one area then have to pay off my sins.

So, there's my opinion, changes to mechanics, new covenants aren't fun, just annoying to other people, and otherwise still a super fun game, I advise offlining the bell towers and rat areas like I've been, the bosses there are easy, just deny the two groups of their easy kills so they join reds and have to work for em.

Go watch Twitch chat attempt to play pokemon from start to finish, I promise you, it won't be as bad as you think. They already beat two gyms by pure luck and RNG.

So, been playing more on my PS3 and Steam lately, anyone have any suggestions for games, whether new or old for the two? I'm not much for FPS games though, so am gonna put that one out there.

I love this game, despite some of the early armor quickly falling off at Hunter Rank 3 and becoming useless. Reinforcements, I hate them.

Spawn on enemy turn, immediately attacks my weakest unit and kills them, restart mission 20 times.

Best fire emblem yet, but fuck these no warning enemy spawns.

I realized I'll use my journals to just review games that I play, cause otherwise, what am I gonna use it for? Witty commentary on the porn on my FA? Furry drama? Nah, game reviews, seems way more legit.

So, what to say, don't go into this game expecting the normal paper mario experience, for once the rpg system is completly gone. This is a breaking point for alot of people, but I wanted to see what big man Miyamoto had in mind with this game, and it was somethin. In place of a level system is the tiers of stickers, becoming more powerful as you go along, and being able to buy higher tiered ones as you advance in the game, battles are much more strategy then spamming your best move and healing on occasion. You're forced to think, finding out how to use your stickers against each enemy and boss in the best way, cause if you run out, that's likely game over against that boss.

Now, a bit on the bosses, each one has a huge weakness, that does huge damage, and lowers their defense a few turns, finding this weakness through experimentation or the description of stickers hinting to how they can counter the boss is very rewarding, I did a boss with and without his weakness, using 15 and 60 stickers respectively. Also, they have alot of health, the second boss of the game boasts a staggering 250 health compared to the 40 I had by that point.

Now, the game itself outside of battle follows the same thinking ideas, where most of the game requires you to solve puzzles to advance, I do not advise this game for younger audiences, as some of the puzzles get quite hard to figure out, not to mention all of the extremely well hidden secret areas, that hide the highest tier of stickers, that give you a huge edge against bosses and mini-bosses.

Now, the reward for 100% in this game is a little lack-luster, the sticker museum you unlock the ability to go to, will be filled out by you placing stickers inside of it, finishing it unlocks a sound test, and the ability to watch enemy animations tested ona cardboard cut-out of mario, this does not include boss type enemies though sadly. The other rewards are achievement banners that show up in the game's main hub town, which are also shown off at the end of the game during the usual paper mario end game parade.

I'm not touching on the story, as like most mario stories, it's the gameplay that matters, even when it comes to paper mario, as always, big bad bowser, save a princess, some magical thingy bowser got, fight him, blah blah, the usual.

In the end I advise this game to people who are fans of paper mario, but not just the RPG elements of it, if you go in only for the RPG, you will be disappointed, but, if you just want a fun game, with some very devious puzzles and lower RPG elements, you will very much get your money's worth out of it.
