Yeah, as most people here probably already know, there’s this new platform that’s been making rounds among artists both here and on BlueSky. It’s called Cara, and it was made by a group of artists who fled Instagram in the wake of Meta’s bollocks riddled AI system that they’re running rampant on both the aforementioned and Facebook (not that I blame them). The new year is upon us, and 2K23, let's just say, was a year. Not a good year, not a bad year…just a year. I've had a lot happen to me in terms of my personal life, such as my job (working for a specific home delivery focused warehouse job, I had to move sites multiple times due to transportation issues) and my college scenario. In terms of the latter, I was not able to attend fall classes due to my job not having the budget to send me back to classes, and on top of that, I got hit with a surprise from my university in the form of a big bill of fees that my job didn't cover, and I'm now stuck with paying that bill or else I cannot reenroll in classes. This has seriously made me rethink my college strategy, and when I tell the program that my job utilizes to give me the assistance, I'm also going to tell them that I'm going to reenroll at my old community college to finish the AAS I was doing there ten years ago. I found out they have revamped their graphic communication degree to include animation into the fold, and I still have a passion to do animation and 3D modelling in some capacity, so what I'm going to do is get back in touch with the CC and ask if they still have those classes going (because if they don't, I have to think of something else to do, and I'll be honest, I don't really have much passion for anything else). It'll be a roller coaster of a ride next year and I have to make a few things work, and probably take on more hours at my job just so I can make enough money to destroy the amount of debt I have (part of that is I bought a new vehicle after the last one got stolen for a second time, and this one costs more a month than my old one…*sigh* there's no such thing as affordable ANYTHING anymore). I'm hoping I can get through the next year with minimum issues and finish school finally, whether it's community college or university. That's really what I want, and I want to work in the field I'm studying in (and not some dead end job where I'm nothing but an overused and underpaid grunt in the system).


Well, only 12 more minutes before the new year starts for me. For those that have already made it past midnight, HNY and be safe out there.

So, some stupid bullshit was pulled on my old account on X (or Twitter, or whatever it is the hell it’s calling itself), and I had to suffer a penalty, so as of today, I have deactivated my account at “X” so you can no longer find me there. To be honest, it was time for me to go anyway, as that place was an absolute shithole.


From this point on, I’ll be active here, Mastodon, and Bluesky (as of right now, I don’t have any invite codes just yet…you get one every two weeks from what I understand…so please don’t ask for the time being).

Now, I’m old.

Didn't realize yesterday was International Asexuality Day. As most of you all know, and if you couldn't tell by my page's banner, I'm personally Ace/Aro. As such, I thought I'd go into detail on how I came to identify as both.


To start with, I think I'll go ahead and state that I probably was asexual from the start. When I was first introduced to sex via early pornography, the one thing that really weirded (and later on grossed) me out about it was intercourse. I just didn't find it any kind of attractive or felt anything for it. Maybe because the area around that part of the body (the buttocks mainly) a particularly gross section that I wanted nothing to do with. Now, if I'm being honest with myself, there are some aspects of oral sex that I do like and find attractive (somewhat). I'm not really comfortable talking about it, though. It's something I'm sure not many people will understand. Last thing I will say is that at one point, I did consider myself straight, as in having a sexual attraction to females, but I'll save that for my next explanation on my romantic attraction. I'll just say I still harbor about a 5% attraction to females, 95% zero attraction to any other genders (and I'm in no way attracted to males).

Now for the romantic attraction. I think it's no secret that I have zero luck with the one gender I am (mildly) attracted to as stated above. I've been involved in only one relationship in my life, and that lasted a not so good six months before my ex dumped me...for reasons still unknown to me. My ex didn't cheat on me or anything, they just ended the relationship just like that. Now afterwards, I tried to seek out another relationship, but every time I garnered an attraction to another woman, it was always met with "I'm just not interested" and said woman would just move on to someone else. It slowly occurred to me that I just wasn't an interesting prospect for a male (especially a black male who's very different from the average number of black males out there), but for the longest time, I was in denial about it. I just didn't want to believe I was losing my romantic attraction to women and kept trying to put myself out there. Eventually, though, it got to the point where I just gave up and stopped trying. It was when I just learned to accept my eventual fate that I was no longer interested in women anymore, and I just wanted to be alone. I've known nothing but loneliness my whole life, I'm practically used to it, so why give it up? Only a very small part of me still wishes I had a woman to be close to, but it's not enough for me to put myself out there again. I'm fine with being alone. In the end, myself is all I have.


I don't know who will read or even respond to this, but if you did go through all this rambling of mine, I appreciate it.

In my coming to terms with my friend's passing, I received some wonderful news yesterday. I now have a second job as a motorcoach driver, to which I start today! I'm very excited about my new job and can't wait to get started training on motorcoach driving (which I'm sure can't be that much different from a school bus)!
