Finally! took me way longer than expected, but I updated a bunch of my latest (up to 2 years ago I think) drawings :)

What does that entail? mainly I changed how I draw faces (now they are more attractive and natural, while keeping the character's essence), but also upgraded plenty of line art and shading, as well as proportions in some cases.

You'll know what drawings have been updated by checking the name of the piece on my gallery, they'll have the word "(Updated)" on the title :)

I have gotten feedback on how I draw faces, from multiple sources, and they all point to the same issues: I over detail with lineart, plus the shape of the head/face is off... SO! I've been experimenting and correcting that on many of my latest drawings that could really benefit from those adjustments, and I'm really happy with the results! I'll be uploading the updated art here in batches soon (replacing the old ones for the new version), probably next week.

33 Years old today! not bad haha.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone! I hope you all have a great time <3

Can't help myself, I love my comic too much, so I'm working on it again, but this time with no deadlines; whenever I feel like it and have the time to do so.

I'll stop working on my comic, Retribution, for the time being, or at least I'll work very little on it, so don't expect monthly updates. I still have big plans for it and it's characters, so we'll see what the future has in store for it.

Other than that, I'll still be releasing random drawings, that won't change.

I've been working hard, non stop, for many years, (2 on this account, 4 in my alt, adult one), uploading art constantly on both accounts, I've been putting crazy amounts of effort in my comic (I have 3 story arcs planned and written to a degree after the current one), a comic I started working on 2 years ago, took half of a year or so to remake half of the pages to get them to a good quality standard, studied to no end up to this day military info and content on youtube and the web to have a solid, realistic basis for it, all of that effort, and I'm afraid it's for naught...

Don't get me wrong, I love working on all of that, but the thing is, my follower growth is basically dead on both accounts, viewer interaction is low as fuck, virtually no one seems to give a damn about my comic, and I really hoped to (I need to) make money off of my art, but it's not happening. I don't know if my art is not good enough, if I have bad taste and I never noticed, but people overall don't seem to give a damn about my art here.

Here's the thing: I'm working on my very own videogame, a retro shooter with spritework, animations, assets, story, maps and textures made by me (sound, VA and coding made by other team members), and working on it consumes an insane amount of time, BUT it's having a good amount of following, and it's growing fast. I'm constantly struggling balancing game vs. comic/drawing work time, and I'm worried that I'm just wasting time that I could be spending on the game developement here, working on the comic and random drawings.

I can't stress enough how much I love and believe in my comic, and in my characters, the idea of shelving them breaks my heart. I've been struggling with all of this for months and I still can't make de decision to put an end to my comic and put the bulk of my work time on the game, working on random drawings from time to time only.

I'm venting here, sorry for that, we'll see what I do next.

PS: I have nothing but endless appreciation for those of you who enjoy and care for what I do, so thank you.

I've been basically working on my comic for almost 2 years non stop (from starting it, to remaking it, to reworking it, up to its current form) and I need a small break, so there won't be new pages up until next year's february. I'm sure you'll understand, and worry not, I'm still very motivated to keep working on it, I just need to rest from it a bit!

It's very possible that I'll start working on my comic in black and white, since most people who have seen the pages in B/W have told me they like them better that way. A bonus perk would be that I can work faster this way, opening the possibility of making extra pages per month.

Last time I talked about it, I put it on hold indefinetly... but truth be told, it's my fav personal project, so I decided to work on it again and A LOT: there's a good chunk of new pages I made in the last month and a half that'll post here in a while.

So yeah, back on track!

Due to general lack of interest, I'm suspending the production of my comic, Retribution, for the time being. I'm not happy about that, really, but I'm investing my energy on new projects that are looking very promising.
