Been a tough week for me with the recent passing of my idol Kobe Bryant. I have to say this is the first celebrity death that has actually brought a real feeling of emptiness to me. It’s mainly the way he passed that I guess has hurt me. Has made me realize I need to call and be more appreciative around the people I love or care for. I'll be honest, the reason I came to this site was cause I never knew what furries were until last year so someone gave me a link to this site and it piqued my interest. Wasn't really a fan of much of the porn or things like fursuits/etc. Still not. The reason I still occasionally come here is cause of the amazing art styles and unique stories/comics I've seen by some talented folk on here. But most importantly is the community. Although toxic things are here and there, it is far less than most other large websites like this. And seeing the Kobe tributes, even if they weren't many nor the greatest drawings in the world, was amazing. I havent had a negative interaction here yet.

All that said, this is meant to be a lil write-up of gratitude for this site. Even though I'm hardly a regular here, I cant see where the hate for fandoms like this come from besides people hating on other being different. Peace to everyone and hope yall doing well.
