Posted 16 years agoSo, the other day, I was on furaffinity when my little nine year old cousin wandered in. (I don't browse "Adult artwork" by the way, [Too young i be.] so i left the window up without much care.)
She sat down, Looked at what i was browsing, and forced me to give a brief explanation on what the site was. I left out a lot of details to try to preserve her young mind. She then plainly stated "I want an account on here. It looks cool!!"
my mind just went "...Fuck."
She was pretty adamant about it, and badgered me about it for awhile. I dodged the question as best as i could, and tried to reason with her. Then, after giving almost every 'Clean' reason for her not to be on the site, at the last minuet, she changed her mind. Thank god though, I didn't want to, but almost had to tell her about the "Adult Artwork" on the site to gross her out.
So, it's official: I have the ability to corrupt 9 year old's, and will do so under the right amount of pressure.
Although, It would have been just a bit more hilarious if i was 18 and had the adult artwork up. Hey, Has anyone else had something like that happen? Can you top my story?

Posted 16 years agoCaffeine... 2 GIANT cups of strongly brewed pikes place roast before 6pm...
I'm shaking like a dog and i can't stop moving. It's so bad that i accidentally disconnected my headphones from my compy while spinning around in circles in my chair, causing my speakers to start blaring really loud trance music. I think i woke up my grandmother with it... I hope that she's not angry 'bout that...
Anyway... I'm just trying to get this caffeine burst to wear off, and, apparently, typing helps. Weird, huh?
So, while i have this journal open, i might as well give you all some updates on whats going on with me at the moment.
... *Thinks for a moment* There's really not much to say... ^^; Everything has been really calm recently. Nothing of great value has really been happening around me (At least things that you would all be concerned about.)
The writer's block on my music is finally starting to subside, but, I'm still having trouble writing stuff with good emotional value. that will probably dissipate with good time though!!
I've started to do some literal writing again. I've edited and added on to a story that i started over 6 months ago. I think i improved it a bit... maybe. Ask me about it, and maybe I'll send you what i have so far. (It's not furry though. just warning ya.)
After many long months, I've picked up a pencil and started drawing again. I'm a little bit out of practice, but if i can keep in practice, i might be able to start doing Anthro art regularly.
I've been thinking about trying to acquire FL studio again, But, I'm still really skeptical. After that whole virus fiasco, i really don't want to test my luck. I'll be considering that more when i get that other computer fixed.
As for a hardware studio, I have gotten no closer to getting it bought and constructed. Being jobless doesn't help. I'm half tempted to try to call in a bunch of favors to get that taken care of, but I'm kind of scared that no one will help (Or i will be so far in someones debt that i would have to repay it by killing someone O.o.) I was, and i still am planning on getting this studio constructed on my own, and I'm ok with waiting. But, sometimes i just wish i had the equipment to mess around with...
Ooh, The way i have things planned at the moment, I might be able to live in California again by next summer, if i play my cards right, that is. I'll need all of you to wish me luck with this!! I'll need all i can get!! If you're curious about how i intend to do this, just ask, k?

As most of you all know, i had a bit of an accident with my cousin's computer involving illegal downloading of stolen music making programs and a dirty tango with a deadly computer virus. So, for those of you who got your hopes up about me getting back into the music making business, I do apologize, but that's not going to happen any time soon. (The sad thing is that right now, I'm just fine with that.)
Nevertheless, excluding most of the details, I'm back online, and will be online a majority of the time just as i use to be!! ^-^
I'll keep you all posted on everything that goes down on my end as much as i can, but, as always, if you're curious about anything, just send me a message!! (It will make me happy!!)

Posted 16 years agoWell, I'm back gaiz, and for good. I now have a permanent computer, so i will be online on a constant basis (Weather it be FA or MSN Messenger.) I also might be able to put some version of FL on it... among other things... but i have to ask the owner first, so i can't make any promises on that. ^^;
Also, i almost have a makeshift studio lined up and ready to go.
It just needs a recording workstation and a drum machine (Optional) and it will be set. ^-^ Now, getting those things will be a bit hard, but i can manage it, so long as i get up off my lazy ass and get a job.
Anyway, that's about it for now.
If anyone has any questions, just comment, or message me, k?

Posted 16 years agoSo, I was just told today that my family is, once again, making plans to move across the country.
There is a very good chance that this will happen.
This also means that I will be losing my Music Production Equipment.
In the event that this happens, I will have to stall all of the work I have started until I can get my hands on equipment.
This probably will not happen until after i have driven across the country, gotten settled in, and have held a job for long enough to pay for new music stuffins.
So, as of now, i am officially stalling my projects until either the move is called off, (15%) until i get across the country and buy music stuff, (84%) or until someone gives me every piece of equipment that i have been using (1%)
Wish me luck in Ohio... ^^;

Posted 16 years agoI'm still awake, once more, during the midnight hours of a crescent mooned night.
All seemed well on my path; there did not seem to be any obstacles; not an obstruction in sight all the way out unto the horizon, but only god knew what could and will come to stand in my pathway.
Have we ever thought of ourselves as that single most dreadful obstruction? That we are literally the only thing standing in the way of what we desire, and what we need? The truth is that this is something we can always, and never be. I'll leave this for you to ponder.
I can only hope that my persona will not stand in the way of what I wish to do, but if it does, I will not have much say in it. If I am carried away on a different current, then where I need to be, rather than where I desire to be, is where I will flow to. I'll let it go for now, for there may not be a good lesson within my desires. I will let it go for now, and let the currents gently guide me, even if they guide me off a waterfall.
I can only hope that my desires are eventually met, and that other's desires are not disappointed. I cannot fear, nor stand in the way of what will come of that which needs to be.

My music is completely stalled at the moment. I have two projects open that I can't finish, one I can't start, another that I can't even begin to work on without my brain exploding, and another two that I want to start on, but I cant because I have other stuff in the way and I feel like I have to start everything else first or everything won't be fair!! >.<

I am in a mood to do music for people.
This means that i will be doing free music work for anyone who desires it!! ^-^
So, if you are in need of a well put together theme, a dance song to premiere at your next Disc Jockey gig, something to listen to on your ipod, or just want a random piece of music to have for no apparent reason, hit me up while you can! ^-^
Also, I know a lot of you watchers are musicians yourselves, so if anyone has a flood of commission requests that they can't deal with right now, send them my way!! My work is quality work for a super cheap price! I'm willing to do anything I can with anything I have for anyone at all!! Not just techno, not just pop: Anything.
So, I hope to hear back from some of you all very soon!!
By the way, I will have no set out structure to giving out commissions other than "First come, First serve." If I get a flood, I will make a structure!
NOTE: all music and themes created by me are MINE, and are used only with my permission. Therefore, I hold the right to change and remix any Melodies, Bass-lines, Rhythms, or Chord structures created at any given time without any given consent or given warning. [but, I'm cool, so i'll let you know if i want to change some things up and make a new tune out of your creation! ^-^]

Piano techno!!
Posted 16 years agoSo, i was just lazing around on my couch, and N. C. I. S. Came on the television, and the theme just made me go all... O____o <3
It was then that i realized that i REALLY love "Piano Techno" with a burning white hot passion... ^^; It was then that I also realized that no one here on FA really uses piano patches, except maybe once in a blue moon.
Soo, it got me thinking... about all of the following:
I want someone to do a piano techno trade with me, so if you're interested, drop me a note!!
I want to make simple piano tracks that can be incorporated into other peoples mixes, so if you're interested, drop me a note!!
I want to encourage people to buy and use piano patches in their work!!
and THAT is my random piano thought for the day. ^-^

Posted 16 years agoOk! A surge of random comments has concluded that I will be uploading a demo version of "Beat against time" to FA.
Anyway, my vocalist is still being a lazy-pants, so it will take awhile to get the full mix done.
Until then, you may bask in the glory of what is soon to be "Beat Against Time (Vocal Mix)"
Please do bear with me, but the mix can not be uploaded until I get my hands on a few blank CD-R's (Those of you who are familiar with the "VS-880 Workstation" will understand why), so just sit tight, and i will have it uploaded as soon as possible! ^-^
Also, though it can be viewed as a seemingly impossible fantasy like dream right now, when I finish and upload the fully done vocal mix (yeah, that'll be the the day...), the demo mix will be promptly moved to the "Scraps" portion of my profile, so don't freak out if it seems to disappear!

Posted 16 years agoso, I've finished the basic mixing for "Beat against time (vocal mix)" and i am contemplating: should i give you, my fur affinity watchers, a demonstration of what i've been up to, or simply make you wait for as long as my vocalist wishes to be lazy?
I'll tell you what; if i get over 5 responses from different people to this journal, I'll upload the mix that I have thus far. Otherwise, you're all going to have to wait another month for my vocalist to get her shit together.

Posted 16 years agoSo, I've been working on the "Finale" mix of "Beat Against Time" recently, and, Mother of hell, this thing couldn't be more of a bitch to mix.
I don't want to make the same screw ups i did in the "Re-vamp" mix, so, if there's anyone out there that can give me a tip or two on what the fuck I should do, please, Listen to "Beat against time (Re-vamp)" and do not hesitate to tell me what I screwed up!!
I won't be starting any new projects until this one is done, so, if you want to hear new stuff, be a critic.
