Whenever something doesn't function properly it dissapoints us and we grow displeased... but lately I've been trying to use any shortcomings in myself or my equiptment as an excuse to explore new avenues of creativity or functionality. In the most recent case, when my tablet decided to barf bianary mid-project, rather than reset my machine and keep trying I took a new angle.

I made a polar bear, a creature I've never had the pleasure of drawing before, rocking out. And it was mouse drawn. Took forever, I should have been in bed hours ago, but the point is through use of the tools available I was able to produce something I might never have tried were I to stick to my prefered medium.

I like to venture forth into new territories and try new things. My attenetion to detail may bite me in the butt once in a while as I falied to notice the advancement of time and have many things to do in a very short while, however, I have produced what I belive to be a satisfactory and presentable work of art for the day.

I'm finding much hilarity in the response to my recent drawings. Now, I understand that there are going to be numorous views for my "Mature" picture. I get that. But I really didn't expect the sudden rush of views and favorites for my "shoop" picture. Who Knew?

I guess crapping rainbows in such a grandiose manner truly is the key to comedic success.

Hungry Micha is hungry. I needed food and there was nothing to be had... nothing in the house and all the stores are closed... too late for "Midnight" Micha. I need sustinence! but no.... I've gotta close all that time. I need a decent 9-5 so I can get some sleep and grub at reasonable hours. Blarg! Red wizard needs food now!

Whenever I do anything I find that I have at least two veiwpoints to the activity in question. Whether it be traveling, musical composition, writing, ect... I always have at a minimum two different sides at war in my head. I'm not sure if I'm indecisive, I can make decisions fairly easily... I just second guess my decisions all the time.

I comstantly worry that I've said, done, planned, or interperated something wrong and it's going to bite me in the butt. This eventually made me a very good negotiator being that I can acurately see both sides of an argument without bias... or better stated, with equal bias.

Maybe I'm just crazy? :P I'm really just not confident with the decisions I make, regaurdless of outside apperances.

Numerous difficulties, most of them technical in nature, have kept me up waaaaay too long..... I need sleep... badly. In other news..

I got my submission Done in record time... even after not knowing what to submit tonight. I was working on a song but unlike my last song, which was all done in a few hours, this next one needs time to mature.

With this piece I just sorta....drew... airbrushed really. And came up with a picture out of my mind. It was weird. Normally I know at least where I'm going with my drawings but this time my image developed in my mind while I was drawing it. Mistakes turned into new angles and botched lines became greater depth.

Maybe I'm getting better?

I've done it! Officially reached the 2 week mark in my quest to make at least a submission day. I'm really draggin' right now because I haven't slept in.... just a sec... *checking calendar* the 9th midday. At first I just couldn't sleep, but right now I have many different deadlines to meet for many different projects. Most notably I'm suposed to play lead in a guitar duet tonight... and I don't know the music yet. So no rest for the wicked I'ma hafta stay up some more, learn this song, preform it, get back home round 11, and work on more arts... then I have work in the morn... My daily submission is up. Whoo! turns out people know stuff about it and stuff. Internets were won and distributed. Lolsaus was consumed and the rofl was mao'd. Many going ons.

For those of you wondering about the title of this journal you need only know of my stat count. Of all my pictures my "Mature" one is the most veiwed. and in only 3 hours it had over 40 views. 24 and some odd hours later I'm at 65 and I've realized something: That's about half the veiws of all my other art work... Combined!!!

You're a bunch of pervs. ;-P Keeps me laughing so it can't be a bad thing.

I've done the obligitory "Fake XXX pic" with "Playing with my self and within 3 minutes four amazing things happaned!

1. My picture got more views than any other submission I've ever posted
2. I've doubled my total community"Watch"s and got a "Fav"!
3. I've managed to keep to my one submission a day minimmum for 12 days!!!
4. I've reallized that the community as a whole are a bunch or good natured pervs with a sense of humor!!!! good going guys!

I'm glad to be here and I'm looking forward to what I stumble across next.

Well, I've posted a pic of my avatar(s). Someday I'll have to get around to actually making a profile sheet for them. They like headbands. I like waffles. News at eleven.

Nope. I made arts... but it's not hand-drawn. Photo manipulation for the thumbnail of my musical submission. It's small and doesn't look like much but it took me about an hour to do which is about the time it took for my first few drawings befor I switched from OC to PTS. I'll be heading to bed soon. Work early tomorrow!

Keeping up with this isn't as hard as it first seemed. As I thought a "pic-a-day" is really helping to keep the ideas flowing. An unforseen side effect is my increased lack of sleep from five to around three hours a day. It's not harmed me at work but I've yet to really take a full load of classes in college.... this, should be interesting.

and with that though... time for my three....uh..... two hours of sleep.

I've had to post my first partially completed piece, a "work in progress" if you will, in order to maintain my quota of one submission a day. Not to seem as if I'm slacking, I've spent most of the day working, and re working, on one peice. The rough sketch is nearly done and I'll be working on the clean line art tomorrow. If I'm not dead. I might be dead. Whatever.

Anyways... it's reeeEEEE~lly late and I can't go to sleep because I have to wait until this crazy lady leaves for work so I can move my can so I don't get cited on street sweeping day. Huzzah! But I'm all tired and deffenatly "drawn out"....see what I did there? with the clever pun....? ah, you don't care. So I'm going to lie on the edge of my bed, my head hanging off, with my night cap on, and strum my guitar until I hear her car move. wheeee......

Here's hoping I don't cause a wreck on the freeway on my way to work today!

So Tired I almost forgot to toss up a journal. I did my daily arts. It felt good. I don't have work tomorrow.... Alright! Go to sleep, get some 'Z's, and wake up to find I've been faved and shouted to (at?). Cool. Nice to see my stuff doesn't just automatically fall into the void of vast black internet-ness-ness......ness.

But really. It's really cool and quite deep when you think about all the technology going to work so that we may share our art, music, and poetry with eachother. Even more so when you realize how much time and effort has been sacraficed to send a 12 second pencil on paper scrawl of two remotely furry stick figures having 'relations' to and from a server to your PC (or Mac) for your 'veiwing pleasure'.

New art tonight!!!

Looks like I'm keeping up on this "picture a day" thing I'm trying. Cool. Here's hoping people see my work and are entertained by it.... or failing that, entertained by other work and I can pretend they like my work. :-P
I hope everyone had a happy Halloween. Mine sucked, but that means that other people should be enjoying theirs' even more, right? Law of conservation of awesome or some rot like that.

Just got back from class, Aced my midterm. Even added extra material past the designated assignment and my initial submision was perfect as it was. I feel good.

Prolly draw somethin before I pop off to bed. Goal is to do at least one art a day starting at, or just after, midnight. That's when my free time is these days, hence the name.
