Yup. today is my birthday.

well, I have been gone for a long time. well to those that are watching me now. I thank you for the watch.

secondly, I been dealing with many meat-space (real life stuff) along with dealing with the pandemic. Luckily I been surviving thanks to the local Warhammer 40k,the online Rings and Running shoes ( a sonic based RPG), my father, my family, twitch streamer community. and others. If it wasn't for them I do not know what would of happen to me.


WHAT? You stream?: yes I do over at https://www.twitch.tv/mikejmurdock. I stream mostly monday , tuesday, and fridays at 7pm CST and sometimes during the weekend and other days. I do the following

-Mecha Mondays: which I play mech sim, turn based/real-time strategy, and anything doing another mechs or mecha.

-Playthrough tuesdays: which i do a playthrough of a game. I am currently doing Miitopia and after that , well I will see

-Battletech Fridays: me , @prdarkfox, and others do a weekly battletech campaign using Megamek.


I do other games when I have the time to do them. As for art. I do have some stuff in the works and I will post them as soon as possible. (mostly art I did to show a visual representation of a character for Rings and Running Shoes since I been actively involved in it.)
I do have clip studios paint, however, I am still trying to get use in drawing in it and hope one day I can move from pencil and paper and scan it to be edited in clip studio to a tablet. but it will have to be after I finish my bachelor's. (so far i am near the end of my term and just got MY security + certification after FIVE YEARS of trying to get it) so once that's done and paying off the loan I can see to investing into a tablet.

It has been a while since I made a journal entry. For everyone that is watching me I hope you are having a merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, happy Kwanzaa, or just a happy holidays all around.

Also, the reason I have not been posting as much on here is mainly due to not only my work hours at my current employment. I also started taking courses at university in order to get my Bachelor's degree to not only to improve my resume, but to also add to my portfolio in order to have enough points to immigrate to Canada. So for now, it will be some time until you see art from me. However, I shall try my best to post something even if it's just a quick sketch in order to put some content on this page. even if it's just taking pictures of any models (40k or otherwise) here as well.

Anyway. that is my update. Hope everyone have a happy holidays and I hope 2020 will be better for all of us.

yup The FCC Chair is once again trying to take your rights of a free and open internet away. Currently Net Neutrality laws tells ISP that you can use the internet your paying for to go to any site your hearts content and not get any slowdowns or entire sites being blocked. With that removed they can block sites that doesn't fit the ISP's own agenda, slow down sites that cannot pay the fast lanes, Or like New Zealand seperate the internet like Television and you have to pay extra just so you can use certain sites like Netflix, Facebook, or hell even art sites like DA and FA

I never do this alot (use a journal to ask for people's help ),but a friend of mine is dealing with a situation IRL, they have been outed regarding personal stuff and it has been used to humiliate them, destroy their life outside of the net as well as weaponized into a tool to spread sick rumors to defame and slander them.

All this has literally destroyed their emotional well being and mental state and things will only keep getting worse that's why they've made plans to get out but need to raise some money to sustain themselves for the first few months.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Earthsiege and tribes games Hi-Rez got a rights to give away every single game in the franchise for free. Sadly Mission force:cyberstorm , cyberstorm II: corporate wars, the expansion for the first earthsiege game ( Have to check the iso if they have it) , and Battledrome is excluded from this list.
