Update;; Whats Been Happening..

I apologize for the lack of updates and artwork for the past month;; I've been wanting to wait till things seemed to look up a bit, but two weeks ago my dad has suffered from a brain aneurysm/stroke. We we're able to get him to the hospital in time for them to perform the surgery;; and once the surgery was finished, it was a waiting game to see if he would survive the next 14 days...I was an absolute wreck during this...I couldn't think, eat, or drink. My dad is my absolute world; he is the reason for everything that I am.
Thankfully I wasn't alone, my family and my friends have kept me comforted during this time. I wouldn't have lasted without them. And everyone's overwhelming support during this time;; has been extremely appreciated ;;
My brother drove the two of us out of town every day since he was hospitalized and stayed by his side for as long as we could;; We're still visiting him everyday.
The two scary weeks have officially passed yesterday, and dad is now being moved out of the ICU into his own room in the hospital; despite him being out of ICU, he still needs to stay on clinical watch for the next 21 days; just to make sure everything is still healing properly ;w; He sadly can't move the left side of his body, but the doctors say that his muscles still work and that they are not permanently damaged; so we can fix that with physical therapy and time QvQ
During all this; I'm also in the process of learning and figuring out my fathers financial situation with bills and insurance;; It's been extremely stressful, but i'm slowly figuring it out;; Especially since my dad cannot communicate with us;; One day at a time ;v;
Despite all that's going on; I decided to still partake in my Seasonal Job this year. I know my dad would be so pissed if I skipped a year because of him, he would want me to work and make sure I was financially stable for the next couple of months;;
So yea;; I've been officially re-hired a couple days ago, and currently have no start date; but they usually start around the first week of October
I am so insanely sorry for those who have been waiting patiently for their artwork;; I was trying so hard to catch up on some overdue queues but sadly, I have to stop for the time being;;
Since Dads condition is stable as of right now; I should start working on artwork again;; but we'll see. Its hard to really focus right now despite him being stable;; there's always that 'fear' that something will happen overnight...Which in his situation; anything can go from 0-100 really quick; the anxiety has been eating my insides; but I try to stay strong from him and my family

Edit: 09/16/24: My father has been officially admitted to a hospital to start his physical therapy and so much more;; he's still extremely fatigued and not responding; but I know this type of healing takes a long time. Day by day ;; The place he is at has everything he needs <3 Now it is all on him;;
Thank you all again for your patience with me;; I hope I bring better news a couple months from now; but we shall see;;

Edit2: 10/02/24: My dads condition is still the same, but everything else about him is healthy. The doctor mentioned that his brain activity is actually active enough for him that he should be awake and responsive; but he's not;; he's still extremely fatigued and tired. So they're currently stumped about that;; the doctor recommends that my brother and I move him around a lot more; but its so hard to see him cause of the driving distance;; my dad is now 3 hours away;;
But he does still slightly follow commands and we got a video of him holding my brothers hand when asked, so the doctor and nurses now know that he is actually improving; they just haven't been seeing it
Sadly we can't see him as much since he's in a hospital 3 hours away; my brother and I have been going two times a week to see him; but gas money has been draining our banks;; its extremely rough right now;;
Right now my brother and I are in the process of trying to get POA of our mother; so we can properly take care of their financial bills and make sure mom is still taken care of in the skilled facility shes currently in. Luckily my mom is barely coherent enough to approve a POA. So only time will tell if they accept it or not
My dad also didn't do his taxes this year; so we're also currently trying to figure that out and get those done too;; its been extremely exhausting trying to figure out everything. But my brother is a rock; he's been doing absolutely amazing; we got this <3 ;w;
I'm just sadly gonna be still busy till we get all this stuff settled;; once we get POA of mom; things should be SUPER smooth sailing...

That Time Of Year Once Again -Seasonal Job-
Posted 2 years agoHey all;; As I say every year; its happening again.
I tried my best to get things prepared art wise; but I was hoping that my job wouldn't be starting for at least another two weeks. And I got a call yesterday; asking me to come in Monday.
This has been the earliest i've been asked to work in a very long time; so it's ether going to be a long season, or a short one; we'll see;;
My seasonal job usually lasts for 2-3 months depending on the amount of produce we receive. But if everything goes okay; I should be done around December! We shall see though;;

What does that mean for artwork? Well, I luckily have a lot of art already completed and ready to be uploaded; so content will stay at a good pace during this time.
But as for owed commissions, ych's and rewards; you sadly might be to wait a little bit longer for any update ;; My seasonal job takes up all my time and energy to the point of just passing out when I get home; and due to that my motivation to do artwork; or anything really, is completely drained;;
I am going to try and see if I can make a separate schedule for artwork; or at least try to draw 1-2 hours everyday to get progress done; but I sadly can't make any promises;; just know that your art piece will be completed ;w; its just gonna take a little longer <3 Never be afraid to poke me for updates!

Small Update; what's been going on with me
Posted 2 years agoHeya everyone! Since it seems like ive been consistently disappearing; I feel I should explain whats been happening the past couple of months;;
I feel like i've might've mentioned this in an older journal; but I just wanted to mention it again; my mother has been diagnosed with a long-term terminal illness called Huntingtons Disease; that affects the brain; and is currently in the final stages of it. My family and I have been taking care of her since shes first got diagnosed in 2011. Its one of the main reasons why I started drawing from home; is because I wanted to be able to take care of her and work on the sidelines.
But this year; her condition has gotten to the point that ive been looking into at home care, or even putting her in a skilled nursing home;; but sadly most of the places closest to us ether are full and we're on a waiting list; or that her illness is too much to take care of;; despite her being in the final stages; her illness will conditionally get worse as time goes on; she'll still have another 5-10 years before she passes. Its a very, very slow disease
Its been hard; extremely hard;; I was stressing that my art queue has been growing; and yet my finances were dwindling due to rent/bills. Thankfully my dad/brother are more than willing to pay for my caretaking services till we find a place for her to be taken care of; but as for now, things are getting a bit easier;; Cause not only am i doing this for her; im also doing it for my dad/brother cause its hard to take care of her 24/7, it takes a toll;; everyone needs a break;;
Ive been so emotionally and physically spent for awhile; with Huntingtons Disease; I have a 50/50 chance of inheriting it myself;; So its a lot of mental strain when I take care of her, i always think "This is going to be me in the future" especially you could start showing signs at anytime, mostly around 40-50. -coughs turning 32 this year- aaahh fuck me lol
So yea; my caretaking days are Wednesday/Saturday; so those are days that im away from the computer; won't be able to work on any artwork for the time being! And I also have a side gig with a friend of mine to do their yardwork every Sunday. So im not available that day ether
Now that im getting a bit more help financially; I think I can finally start focusing on my owed art queue a bit;; im just sorry that ive been so off/on for so long; I guess i just want you all to know the reason for it;; Thank you all again for your kindness and patience with me during this time ;w; Sadly I don't think it'll improve till I find a place for her to be safe; but for now, I think things can start rolling a bit more;;

Potential Auction Opinion? Who would you like to see?
Posted 3 years agoHeya! While working, I was thinking I haven't really hosted an auction in...years? But im kinda wanting to try it out again sometime this month? (It really depends on the time I have so I can't count on it;;)
My question is; if you were interested in the auction, would you perfer Minci or Princess as pred?
Minci is a kind non-fatal pred; but would be willing to tease if the prey wanted it
And Princess is my mean pred; who would be cruel, tease and so forth with her victims
I could also host an auction where both pred and prey slot are open too; both seperate slots just like my normal YCH's.
If peeps are more interested in that idea

Move Update 3! We are in!
Posted 3 years agoF I N A L L Y.
After two months of dealing with all the crap; my roomies and I have finally moved into the new house <3
There are still a ton of fixes that need to be done; but we are officially tenants of this house TuT and im so excited and nervous as hell to keep it that way lol;;;
Still taking a couple of days to wind down since the last two months have been nothing but back breaking work; im looking forward to relaxing my feet a little;;
I also have a tooth filling on the 10th;; so im hoping that after that; I can get back on my feet real quick <3
We do have internet as of right now! So im glad we didn't have to wait too long for that!
Off topic; but today was also my birthday! And I was able to enjoy my time with family and friends <3 it was one of the best; I really needed it <3 <3

I am excited to get back into artwork. A couple of you have been extremely patient with me during this whole ordeal and once again; I could never be able to show my appreciation enough <3
Once I finished up some owed artwork; I plan on hosting some YCH"s to kinda get back into the grove again, and reopen commission slots <3 and maybe even getting started on more personal projects again. The skys the limit now!

Move Update 2!
Posted 3 years agoGod; its been too long. For those who are wondering whats been going on; you can quickly glance at my past journal here!: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10249247
Long story short; my roommates and I have been trying to move into a rental home. But the current tenant kept being wishy washy about which dates they'll be out of the house, So we haven't had an exact date of when we could officially move in.
They were supposed to originally leave June 1st. But when they don't they give an half ass excuse and even snapped at our future landlord about "Ill move out when I want to move" it was ridiculous. She had to resort to calling the tenants mother to get his ass to actually move out.
And they finally left July 10th. I was finally given the key to the house. So all is well?
Nope.
Went into that house and it absolutely trashed. Garbage was still everywhere, food was still in the fridge/pantry. Black mold stains all over the carpets and walls. Over hundreds of spiders and roaches in all the nooks and crannys. Dead bugs coated everywhere; even the stovetop was scrapped for parts. It suddenly became clear on why they never wanted anything to come inside al;skdjf
My dad and I are currently in charge of the clean up, repaint, removing nasty molded carpets;; in which our landlord plans to replace as fast as she can;; She was completely unaware by all of this; I was the one that had to break the news by sending her pictures;;
So yea;; there has been progress at least; im finally in the house and I have the key. (Not currently living in it until we get some mold killer and new carpet; currently staying at folks house) We just gotta make it livable before we begin the official move. For the past few days my dad and I have been working non stop on the house in miserable heat; so im gonna be slow again for awhile;;
There is a possibility I might have to install the new flooring as well; cause its a lot faster to do it yourself than wait for a company for 8 weeks to MAYBE install it for you. It'll be good experience, my dads an excellent handyman that's teaching me all the works. This is a maybe though; but it is a possibility if she can't find anyone else;;
SO YEP! Hopefully this goes by smoothly; just gotta keep at it and it'll be done eventually <3 Thank you all again for your patience with me; its been hella rough lol;;

As for the moving situation; a family friend of mine has offered my roommates and I a house to rent out! The home became available due to the current tenants claiming they'd be moved out by June 1st.
So during that time, my friends and I have been hellbent on packing/cleaning before we leave; and doing so, I ended up injuring my wrist pretty badly;; which caused me to not draw for a couple of weeks;; which is why i've been slow with commissions and patron rewards for the past month;; my wrist is doing a little better now though! Been taking care of it since then; so it should all be okay <3
Back to the house update. Long story short, despite the current house tenants stating that they'd be gone by June 1st; they are still there;; our future landlord gave them the ultimatum that my roommates and I are going to be moving in that house on the 14th of June. The tenants response was that they'll be moved out by the weekend.
And again; they're still there;; and as of right now, im not sure how long they plan on staying there;; and our future landlord is pissed haha;;
My roommate has submitted a Transfer leave at his work that requires him to be available to work in the town we're planning on moving too. So for the time being, we're all going to be staying with my folks until the house is ready;; which might take time because we also don't know the current condition inside the house;; so it could take awhile before we can "Officially" move in. We are just waiting on those tenants to leave;; which is why its taking a lot longer than it should be
Luckily it does seem like the current tenants are in the process of moving at least;; so hopefully they'll be ready and gone soon

But due to them dragging their feet; it might take awhile for us to transfer our internet provider to the new house;; so once we actually start moving, we most likely won't have internet for a couple of weeks;; so I just want to give a warning in advance in case that does happen;;

im going to be leaving tomorrow to my folks out to help get rooms ready for my roommates. Then we start moving stuff to my folks house on the 18th. That's the current schedule right now; but it might change;; we'll see

As for the moving situation; a family friend of mine has offered my roommates and I a house to rent out! The home became available due to the current tenants claiming they'd be moved out by June 1st.
So during that time, my friends and I have been hellbent on packing/cleaning before we leave; and doing so, I ended up injuring my wrist pretty badly;; which caused me to not draw for a couple of weeks;; which is why i've been slow with commissions and patron rewards for the past month;; my wrist is doing a little better now though! Been taking care of it since then; so it should all be okay <3
Back to the house update. Long story short, despite the current house tenants stating that they'd be gone by June 1st; they are still there;; our future landlord gave them the ultimatum that my roommates and I are going to be moving in that house on the 14th of June. The tenants response was that they'll be moved out by the weekend.
And again; they're still there;; and as of right now, im not sure how long they plan on staying there;; and our future landlord is pissed haha;;
My roommate has submitted a Transfer leave at his work that requires him to be available to work in the town we're planning on moving too. So for the time being, we're all going to be staying with my folks until the house is ready;; which might take time because we also don't know the current condition inside the house;; so it could take awhile before we can "Officially" move in. We are just waiting on those tenants to leave;; which is why its taking a lot longer than it should be
Luckily it does seem like the current tenants are in the process of moving at least;; so hopefully they'll be ready and gone soon

But due to them dragging their feet; it might take awhile for us to transfer our internet provider to the new house;; so once we actually start moving, we most likely won't have internet for a couple of weeks;; so I just want to give a warning in advance in case that does happen;;

A couple days ago my friends got a notification that they got exposed to someone who was tested Positive for Covid-19. And while we were waiting for our test results; our symptoms started to show. Not too severely, but it was there. We're all Vaccinated, but not boostered yet. (We were planning on it the day after I got back)
But we just got the test result today; and yep, its positive. So we're all going to be quarantining ourselves for a little while; keeping an eye on each other. As of right now, things seem to be okay; but if anything else happens, ill give you all a heads up of course <3
Sadly this means that Patron rewards might be late again;; despite the symptoms not being severe, I still feel miserable;; so Im going to try my best to just focus on hydrating and resting <3

Heres For Hoping For A Better Year <3
Posted 4 years agoAs most of you know; 2021 was one of the worst years i've currently gone through;; from loosing my sister; to having painful stomach issues, anxiety, depression. And a freak accident that caused me to go to the hospital with no insurance, so currently in slight debt because of that lol;; just holly jolly. (Just recently got some good news on that though; so hopefully not in debt for long <3 So no worries for now!)
And sadly; as much as I'd love to wish 2022 will be better; it will most likely be worse. (My family and I are going to be making some hard choices this year) But thats okay. Despite all the crap ive been through ive had amazing people and friends who've helped me pull through all this. And thats enough for me to keep going <3

Its that time of year again; filed out my hiring papers last week and now im officially 'on-call' for my Seasonal job which will keep me busy for a couple of months. At least usually Oct-early December!
I've paused my Patreon for Oct and plan to keep it paused for November too. And commissions are closed in the mean time, unless something comes up again;; (Which gosh I hope not..)
Thank you all again for your patience and kind words for me throughout this year; it's been one of the hardest years in a long time. I know i've been slow in uploading and updating, but I appreciate your guys continuous support despite my lack of activity. As I keep saying, I can never express my appreciation enough
When I start my job; I tend to not work on artwork cause I get so tired at the end of the day;; but I actually have a pretty big stack of artwork I haven't posted yet. So during the time im working, ill still be posting <3
Now for something a bit off topic. Now, I don't plan on doing this for awhile since ill be working. But its something ive been thinking about
I've had this idea for a long time now. I've made and sold charms in the past and there's been a part of me that's been itching into making merch again.
Instead of making them myself though; I was gonna order some on a site (I already have a site in mind <3)
My question is; would any of you guys be interested in them?
The reason why ive never pulled the trigger on this idea is because im not really sure if too many people would be interested;;
The certain pin idea I had in mind was "Princess Appetite" related! (Princess specifically) Since it seems you guys are loving my comic (Even though I haven't posted in months;; I promise you its not dead, just been focused on other artwork.) My second idea was maybe a "Minci Charm" but im not really sure how many people would want my fursona as a charm lol;;;;
I was thinking ether charms, or enamel pins. I realllllly love enamel pins so much and just thought it'd be something cool to try out <3
Lemme know your guys thoughts on it? Should I give it a shot, or just kinda wait

We've had the Funeral service on the 30th; so now i'm hoping things will slowly get easier.
But this year just keeps kicking and kicking, cause i've just been hit with a huge dentist bill. Which means i'm gonna have to get back to drawing, whether im ready or not;; It'll be okay, maybe this will be the kick I need to get back into the swing of things
So tomorrow, im gonna try my best to finished my owed commission; then ill start posting YCH's to help fund for the bill;; I don't know if i'll accept commissions at this time, we'll see. I just can't do "Big" commissions right now;;
All of it is a 'we shall see' moment haha;; im sorry, i seem to say that a lot
I also got Clip Studio Paint! So maybe ill do some experimental commissions, that may be fun! Hehe

Apologies if this is too personal; but I wanted to let you guys know whats happening on my end...especially when its something like this...
I wanted to give a bit of a heads up that art and responses will be slow again.
I got a call from my dad that my sister passed away this morning...
im honestly still in a state of shock, but...i gotta be strong for my familys sake..
Ive never lost anyone close to me before; not like this, it still feels unreal. But im currently surrounded by amazingly caring friends and family; ill be okay. So im not alone
so yea...things will be slow again and im not really sure when ill bounce back;; Im sorry;;
thank you for understanding; dont be afraid to ask questions if i owe you a patron reward or commission, ill be as honest as i always been <3

I really needed this and I appreciate all of you for your patience with me for so long; I keep saying it, but I can never show my gratitude enough <3 Thank you ;w;
I hope in due time I can get back on the art grind like I used too <3 Only time will tell!

Apologize for the sudden update!
Long story short; i've been hit with burnout pretty hard recently and depression episodes; which is the reason why a lot of stuff hasn't gotten done in the recent weeks and I apologize for that.
My roommates suggested that I try to focus more on 'personal' artwork for a little bit; and since I recently finished the script for Princess Appetite; I've been REALLY wanting to work on that comic more. But I never feel like I could cause I dont want others to wait for their commission longer. Commissions have first priority on my list, and Princess Appetite is my least priority. Which is why its been hard to pump out pages ;w;
So for this month of May; I wanted to focus only on Princess Appetite content QwQ Get some pages completed; maybe get a queue set up! That way i can start posting more consistently again? That'd be really nice ;v;
it also doesn't help that I get my second dose on May 7th; so depending on how I feel during that, i'll be even slower with artwork; bahhhhh
I'll still be working on Patron rewards and an Owed YCH during May; so no worries about that <3

--My Seasonal job has been completed since December; but due to two Covid scares; I had to stay with my family for a month before moving back in with my roommates. Due to the stress and anxiety; it was very hard to focus on artwork during this time;; and I apologize for that;;
--A couple weeks ago; I've currently moved back in with my roommates; so i've been slowly feeling better mentally; much more motivated!
(We're also still in the process of looking for a new apartment; but thats another problem for another time)
--I've been slowly getting my current Queue down! And once that's more stable; i'll be able to do more YCH's and accept more commissions <3
I also want to try out more "Sketch Commission Streams" in the near future! I think they'd be fun!
--(And thanks to the support on Patreon) I've also got a tiny TIIINY team of peeps (Two friends) working with me to finish more "Princess Appetite" pages! So once I get a good number of pages sketched out; I think the comic will finally start up again at a good pace <3
After this current scene is over; I think theres one more scene left? With Princess Appetite; i've just kinda 'go with the flow' with pages; which is why its seems pretty inconsistent in some areas;; I apologize for that. I hope once Princess Appetite is done; you'll guys enjoy my next comic project <3

Just a quick note that I just received word from my Seasonal boss stating I start work Next Tuesday....which is pretty short notice; especially considering I believed I wasn't going to be needed this year. Which is why I accepted commissions/YCH's during October;;;;
Now; my Seasonal job for the past couple of years have been pretty considerably shortened as time went by. Last year I only worked for 3 weeks; so Im slightly hoping this year will also be a short Season as well. So I can focus on artwork <3 (and not work during a Pandemic; but im trying not to panic too much;;)
But as of right now; I want to warn that commissions/ych's will be slower than normal; since ill be working 5 days a week; 8 hours a day for the time being;;
But don't be afraid to note me about for a commission/ych/patron reward update <3
I also plan on Pausing my Patreon for the time being; so those who are currently pledged to me; will not be charged on Nov 1st! <3

Just a quick note that I just received word from my Seasonal boss stating I start work Next Tuesday....which is pretty short notice; especially considering I believed I wasn't going to be needed this year. Which is why I accepted commissions/YCH's during October;;;;
Now; my Seasonal job for the past couple of years have been pretty considerably shortened as time went by. Last year I only worked for 3 weeks; so Im slightly hoping this year will also be a short Season as well. So I can focus on artwork <3 (and not work during a Pandemic; but im trying not to panic too much;;)
But as of right now; I want to warn that commissions/ych's will be slower than normal; since ill be working 5 days a week; 8 hours a day for the time being;;
But don't be afraid to note me about for a commission/ych/patron reward update <3
I also plan on Pausing my Patreon for the time being; so those who are currently pledged to me; will not be charged on Nov 1st! <3
everythings kinda chaotic atm; but thank you so much all of you for your kindness and patience with me throughout another long year q w q

As for the life update; I guess I can say; Long story short; my roommates and I are being kicked out without much of a warning; (Its pretty complicated since our Landlords were family) so we're currently trying to find an apartment during a Pandemic. ;;; awesome;;;;
and whats even worse is that I start my Seasonal job pretty soon; (which is 3 hours away) but im hoping we'd be able to move out before i'm needed; but thats just extra stress ;w;
AND the fact that the three of us have never owned an apartment before; this situation is all very new, scary, and a little exciting. We've been planning to leave for the longest time due to all the emotional abuse/stress/anxiety our Landlords have given us throughout the years; it just sucks that it has to happen NOW during a damn Pandemic and my job Lol;;
but having our own apartment does sound pretty awesome too. We were never allowed to really touch or move anything at the place we were staying at. Never really had freedom to express ourselves and call a place 'ours' I think overall this will be very good for us

So yep;; Im still debating if I should open commissions soon or not. I've finally cleared up my Queue; but I think im going to wait till we get everything settled first and then ill reopen them ;w; ( I honestly still might; but ill take a limited amount of slots <3 Just keep a lookout for a journal)
At most I may just do YCH's for the time being!

-By Commissioning me, you agree to my rules, and acknowledge them!
-I have the right to change the T.O.S when circumstances happen, but you will be notified if changes are made!
-As the artist, I have the right to refuse a commission request without reason.
-I must be provided with a Reference, or a picture displaying all character designs. I don't mind 3D models, and traditionally drawn references.

-I usually try to get an art piece completed within 1-2 weeks! It usually depends on how large the commission is. A normal drawing would take a couple of days, while a large comic would take a couple weeks!
-I always send a sketch for approval before completion! But if you wish for constant updates, let me know!
-If they're will be any delay, i'll let everyone know by Notes, then Journal.
-If you wish for any changes (Past the Sketching stage) it'll be an extra $5 per change, depending on what you'd like!
-If you're a supporter on Patreon, I will get your reward done before the Supported month is over. Once again, you will be informed if there are any delays.

-I usually sell YCH's with Multiple Slots, which means I don't start on the entire art piece until all slots are sold.
-If a YCH has been up for a week, with spare slots, i'll replace the slots with characters of my own so I can complete the piece.
-Once the YCH is sold, i'll be messaging all parties involved for Sketch approvals and changes.
-I can hold a YCH Slot for 48 hours for payment.★Payment★
-I accept Paypal Only. (USD Only)
-I will be sending you an invoice. So your Paypal email is required when commissioning.
-I start on the Commission once Payment is Paid/Recieved
-Tips are always loved, some of you are too kind~

-Commissioners are free to post their commission anywhere they please with credit!

So I've recieved word from my Seasonal boss that i'm going to be starting work next week. So for the time being, I won't be accepting any commissions till my Seasonal job is over! ^u^
BUT! I will still post YCH's every now and then! Just like as before!

Right now, I am focused on completing owed artwork before I start working! So i've been going ham on drawing till then! ^u^

During this time, I WANT to make a large Queue of Pages for "Princess Appetite" So I can keep updating it at a constant schedule. Cause lets face it, i'm pretty shitty with updating my comic, aaaaaa;;;
which is pretty pathetic, cause I really love making comics and I want to make MORE; but if I keep messing up, I'm gonna constantly let people down ;u; wahhh;;
i'm going to try to focus certain days on ONLY working on pages, hopefully, doing this will help me get pages done quicker ;u;
so ye! That's another goal i'm gonna try to strive for! Especially since I have no idea how many more pages "Princess Appetite" will have;; Haha;;
