what do I even call this journal
Posted 10 years agoI don't know where this unanimous decision to call all trans men 'c-boys' and trans women 'd-girls' on this site came from but it's awful. Please, if you're not trans/gnc PLEASE don't use disrespectful terms like 'cunt boy' for trans male characters and 'dick girl' for trans female characters. If you don't see a problem with that, imagine if cis women were called 'cunt girls' and cis men were called 'dick boys' like what the heck. You don't address a person as their genitals! And don't argue with me on this if you're not trans, you don't get a say on what makes trans people comfortable!
I know my tone in this journal sounds confrontational but it really is okay if you didn't know this was disrespectful! Apologize and move on, that's all we ask of you. :)A Word To Commissioners..
Posted 10 years agoPlease never feel like you're bothering me! I work to make YOU happy and to make sure your art comes out the way you want it to. That means you're free to let me know (politely) anything and everything you want edited/fixed/changed on a commission. Don't feel scared to approach me for a commission either, I'm happy to work with anyone as long as you're respectful and patient. :)

Premade Fursuit Head Ideas/Poll!
Posted 10 years agoI'm slowly getting better at making heads so I'd like to make a premade head to sell sometime soon. I think I'll do a head only though, I'm not as confident in my paws/tails quite yet. But it will come with a full-body ref as well as a badge once a name is decided on!
So that leads me to asking if anyone has suggestions/ideas for me! I'll list a few ideas I had below for people to vote on but I would love to hear suggestions. Let me know if there's an animal you think would look good in my fursuit style and which species you think I should avoid. I'm definitely going for a grumpy expression for this one (close to Tyson's expression).

MFF 2015 Recap

I don't even know how to start this journal! There are so many things I want to say about this weekend.. I'm blessed to have such amazing friends. Meeting everyone was incredible, I cried as soon as we dropped Prism and Frost off and started driving away because I realized I wasn't going to see these three amazing people for another year. Fursuiting in Chili's and D'agostino's was hilarious and adorable and everyone loved our suits (except one screaming, terrified child who wanted nothing to do with us). We even saw an old man karate chop a pizza onto the floor (not really, he dropped it on accident and got like, a whole new pizza free. Go eat at D'agostino's if you're in the area they're very nice) and the staff got a kick out of us too. Ended up 'stuck' in the revolving door much to a bunch of kids amusement.
Dinner at Chili's was great too, our waitress loved us and took a selfie with us (which I will be posting later). Prism played with all of the kids and they tried guessing what she is. Apparently she's a unicorn. :P
Tristan brought these incredible brownies and showed off their new Glitch suit during the parade on Saturday. We got in the first row somehow, I don't even know what happened but we were ushered forward and ended up there so we were at the front of the parade! You'll see me taking lots of selfies because I just convinced Vincent to get me a selfie stick. I'm so sorry to the cool birds in front of me who I bumped into a couple of times. Your suits are awesome! I ended up wearing Vincent's suit during the parade because there's not one monkey in the parade besides him. START MAKING MONKEY FURSUITS, EVERYONE!
Just.. Thank you so much for making this MFF the best one I'll ever have. I can't even try to think of more stuff to put in this journal because I'll start crying again. I love you guys and I can't wait to see you again as soon as possible. <3

Probably going to be eating dinner in the hotel restaurant (last year I had some really good farfalle pasta there and I want to have it again) and/or eating after the con when we get home.
(EDIT: We usually have a lot of granola bars and small snacks/water bottles so if you need some fuel let us know, we're happy to share!)

Of course! Not sure we can pay your way but anyone is welcome to hang out with me and my handler.

If i'm in my fursuit, take as many as you like. If my fursuit isn't on, please don't. I really don't like other people taking pictures of me.

Posted 10 years agoJust found out my brother-in-law and his daughter (who is very into fursuits and wants one of her own when she's old enough) are going to be checking out MFF with us this year!! She's not quite big enough for her own suit but if she wants to I'm totally going to let her wear Minty for the fursuit parade. :D

OC 1: Bruce, owned by The gayest baby of them all *wipes tears away* first character we RP'd with, super cute anthro form and rose tattoos
OC 2: Guinness, owned by beautiful cinnamon roll too good for this world, too pure. I can't wait to see this bastard as a fursuit so I can finally play with the curly tail irl. Guinness is super unique and I've never seen a japanese chin character before them. Paraskevi is always looking outside of the box when they create characters and it pays off because their designs are one of a kind.
OC 3: Prism, owned by Prism is like if a Night Fury and a rainbow had a baby :3 I love how colorful and silly she is, not only is the fursuit of her adorable but it looks really well made. MarshmallowTwirl combines bright colors and cool species to make memorable characters and its something I really admire about their art style.
OC 4: Lande, owned by from the little pink muzzle n' paws to the cheek floofs and everything in between, Lande is the most adorable doge I've ever seen and the design updates just make her even cuter! I love the way DaemonLady draws bodies and proportions and their art style has always made me jealous (Wickerbeasts are also the most creative 'furry' species on this site in my opinion)
OC 5: Alec, owned by I don't really know much about this character yet but I can definitely relate to his love of sleeping! something about this design really draws me in though, maybe it's the fur running all the way down the back/tail and the striking blue colors or the fins. Woofstep is really good at making characters that stick out and have personality right off the bat.

Posted 10 years agoMy Terms of Service clearly states that International shipping is $5.00. Sending anything outside of the U.S. not only takes longer, but costs more for me and forces me to use the money I made on a commission for shipping. PLEASE let me know if you're buying from outside of the U.S. BEFORE I START YOUR COMMISSION OR SEND YOU AN INVOICE! I'm sick of losing money because I find out after a commission that you're not in the U.S.!! I've even made a journal about this before.
If this continues to be a problem, I will discontinue International orders entirely! The next person that violates this policy will be banned from ordering from me in the future!
EDIT: I've updated my Commission Info tab to reflect my INTL shipping prices so nobody will miss it.
