Apparently I am overzealous and that is a trait he doesn't want in his workers. I for one do not understand what is wrong with an employee looking forward to coming to work every day and giving their all to a company. I am not overty ambitious in terms of wanting to change the company against the manager's directive nor do I aspire for power or money. I merely want to do all I can to help out. I enjoyed what I did.
Conversely he has hired many new workers who lack any motive other than greed. I'm referring to the kind of guys who wish to paid as much as possible for doing as little work as they can. Yes some of them are more experienced in the field but at what point does experience mean more than people with a willingness to learn?
In short it's a matter of which is more valuable to a manager: the experienced yet apathetic veteran or the the less experienced employee with dedication and drive, a purehearted interest in the field. Please comment as I want to see other people's opinions.

I am considering taking some sketch comissions to improve my artwork and help pay for my medication as I having been losing hours at work. I intend the result to be quick sketches with freedom on my part at a low cost to the buyer (.50 to $2). Please provide feedback.

I had a lot of ideas in my head today and I wanted to get all of them down on paper. I am doing somewhat hastily drawn outlines to be colored and detailed later as a batch. I tend not to show half-completed things but I intend to experiment with brush pens on them so I figured it might be best to share them prior.
