Posted 12 years agoHey guess what i'm doing NaNoWriMo this year! (If you don't know what that is GOOGLE IT.)
i've never won before (tried 6 times though) but this time i have high hopes! i'm actually going to be posting each day's efforts (then moving them to my scraps folder later), so if you follow me you might want to watch out for a whole load of complete nonsense. Because i write badly.
And i leave giant gaps everywhere when i can't think of what to do next and skip to more interesting stuff.
And i probably won't finish BUT i'M TRYING DAMNIT.
So. Um. Yeah.
Stuff and things.
Because reasons.

Yes, it's true, and my art has hardly improved at all...
But i'm actually... proud of what i've done. i'm proud of being able to say that i've been drawing for six years. That i've stuck at something for that long.
What's more unbelievable is that i still enjoy doing it.
So please. i know i only have about a dozen followers, but... go have a look at it. Comment if you want, ask questions, like my pictures, or simply ignore everything.
But i have six years worth of art to show you. And to show myself.

Posted 12 years agoYet more copy-pasting of other peoples' stuff, this time with another person who's in need of a bit of cash to help get them a new laptop, and therefore more artz.
Since this person's art is so awesome i figure hey what the heck here goes or something.
They are cheap commissions, and it's all high quality, so it can't do you any harm to at least look at their gallery...

Hey people so I need monies for reasons ... mainly a new laptop.
My current one is not fairing well, and it has only gotten worst in the past six months. I fear that it won't last much longer (and trust me, I've been handling it with many physical defections over the past year).
So yeah it would be great if I could get some commissions. dA doesn't seem to be very active, and i don't have a lot of followers here yet but I figured it's worth a shot.
I have about $120/$800 for the new laptop so it's not that bad of a start!

If you can't afford the commissions maybe you can spread the word? I'd really appreciate that since if this laptop goes then no art from me for a long, long time.
I will probably up the cost after this batch because friends keep pointing out I am underselling heh.

She's currently holding an auction for a pre-posed piece called "Blade Weilding Beauties" (technically several auctions since guess what, there are multiple poses to choose from! Each one of them is a fantastically drawn furry lady in a variety of different poses, each holding a deadly yet artistically stylish piece of weaponry. They're all dressed in gorgeous leather and lace outfits which border on negligee, and you could have your character right there in the midst of all that hotness!

Posted 12 years ago(Friend of mine named Abbey mentioned she was having a waffle! And the winner would be random! i'm great at being random! :3 )
Since Ive got almost 300 watchers I figured its time for another raffle~! This time though the lucky winner will featured in a picture with Abbey your choice of pandacat or laquine the art will be done by sonne, I'll be paying for it of course and we can choose what sort of pic you want. ^_^

Posted 13 years agoThough i'm not sure how many people actually pay attention, or care, but i've been agonizing for a very long time over what i'm going to do with all my old artwork and sketchblogs. Originally i was going to put them up here, but... i think FA would be more suited to... well, stuff that isn't a pile of excrement. But at the same time, i wanted to share my thoughts in some fashion... So i made a decision.
i opened a tumblr account. It's called The Book Of Alex. i called it this because... well, it's going to be my online sketchbook, basically.
i'm not saying i'm abandoning FA, far from it. In fact, i hope to post more artwork here, and i'm talking about the good stuff. Well, good for me anyway, i know i'm not very talented.
So... if you want to go check it out, i've set up a queue so it's GUARANTEED to update daily, even if i get busy (or more likely, lazy) and you might find you even enjoy it. A little.
So go look. Spread the word. Order a commission from me! :D

Posted 16 years agoIn case you didn't know why you're suddenly poking my brain with sharp, electrocuted sticks, i have come to the point where i have submitted a fair amount of artwork from my past...and have come upon some of the more...adult pieces.
For some reason, i am nervous about putting these things up here, partially because of their quality and also because...well, writing is one thing, but a naked picture of...well, me?
i suppose i shouldn't blame you for trying to tie my stomach in knots with my brainstem, since it is only your job, after all...but i think we'd get along much better if you just cavorted with the butterflies in my stomach rather than -

Thanks for letting me get away with it all, and i hope i can be a right royal pain in the bum for many more years to come.
