Before I get started, NO I AM NOT QUITTING FA! I am simply moving to a new account.
I thought about this in the past, but I have decided against it. But now... more than ever I am wishing I made the decision to move. So I guess now's no different time than any. Anywho, you can find me at Misos from now on. I will shortly edit all my gallery images, to fit the link over there, as well as moving my watches/favorites over there as well.
So with that said; don't expect any more activity from this account, I will not be using it any longer. The reason for my switch? I'm thoroughly annoyed with the whole "fox" stigma to the point where it's making me pissed to even think about it! I'm dropping my fox character entirely and will be having a new main character shortly. Once I get to drawing again, if that time ever comes, I'll be uploading it to that account.
Hope to see you there, everyone, and I hope I can continue to entertain you from hereon out with my art still.

People have been going to weasyl
So I figured I'd move there too, set up an account, check it out......
And as it turns out, it's a far superior site in my opinion
I just love it so much. The only thing it's missing is the vast majority of members that FA has.
But with that said, the truth of the matter is, I feel like I would be "abandoning my fans" if I quit FA
I know a large number of people also have accounts over at weasyl now because of this whole ordeal
And more power to you guys
But there's obviously going to be a large number of people who refuse to do so
And, well, that kinda bugs me because some of those people might be those watching me and wishing I don't leave FA
I don't know, it's 5 am, I'm on mobile lying in my bed right now keeping myself up by rambling to myself in a journal and exploring my gallery
Which, I'm sure many have probably noticed, I've completely moved everything to scraps
My profile also mentions I'm protesting as well. All signs point to me moving to weasyl

Happy new years and all? Like there's not enough journals on FA saying that already
Art hasn't been too kind to me in 2013 and by the last few months of it I just felt like quitting it entirely
so, Miso, step up your game, you need to treat yourself better. come on.
With that said, commissions will probably be closed indefinitely or until further notice. I really need to focus on personal stuff..I haven't drawn in months and it's killing me inside
SO ANYWAY REMEMBER THIS JOURNAL? You should. It's been only 2 weeks.
Well, I've made my decision...
I will stay at FA, or at least until I either phase out of it or decide on Weasyl. Which, if I'm being honest, it took me a LOT of courage to join FA to begin with, so weasyl is probably out of the question. I don't like joining new sites. Before I joined FA, only like 3 people ever seen my art. I was...really secluded... and pretty embarrassed to show it.
So, naturally, I was pretty timid when I joined FA.
And I thought I was having a great time. Until the last few months of 2013.
Then I felt myself drifting apart...
I no longer consider myself a furry. I honestly don't even like the term anymore. And, if I'm being honest, I don't entirely like the fandom or the stereotypes it represents.
HOWEVER.
I do draw anthros and that's a hard fact. This......this place... is like...the only place I feel that my art would be appreciated, in any way, shape, or form. I feel like this is where I...belong? Although I don't entirely feel it.
I've drifted from the fandom and now consider myself just as another artist that draws stuff - not a "furry artist"
So, yeah. I don't mean that to sound rude? Trust me, I really don't. I apologize in advance if it sounds it.
But yeah, I suppose I will be staying here at FA.
's oekaki will still get attention though, even though I'm sure a lot of my followers (let alone which of you guys actually read my journals) even remember what an oekaki is, haha.
But I'll be uploading my stuff here still whenever I happen to draw stuff. Just........ don't expect it very often anymore.... I really need to focus on personal stuff again; that's what makes me happy. Drawing for people does the opposite for me, sad to say.
Here's to a fresh year for art. :)

Probably quitting the fandom [watchers please read]

I've been seeing a lot of journals like that lately
but...no, this is not one of them
I have many, many MANY reasons
none of which I will mention here because I don't want a horde of pitchforks and torches after me
I feel like if I quit, art will be a dead-end hobby to me because I put a lot of effort in my art
so if I didn't upload them here then it would get no recognition
so therefore... no one would see it...
And honestly, that's the only reason I'm here anymore.
But, seeing as I just cannot seem to draw anymore, and it's come to the point where I actually hate drawing, I've begun to wonder why I stay
So for now, if you need to contact me, find me on steam here: http://steamcommunity.com/id/misothefox/ just mention you are from FA but be warned, I clear my friends list out every now and then according to who talks to me often.
Just know I'm a very boring person to talk to and I am not very talkative.
If you do not have steam, I also have a neopets account, and will probably be going back to my friend's oekaki where I will upload my art there
I will give it another couple weeks before I make a decision. If I decide to leave, I may be taking my art down to prevent future thieves from making good use of it.

But I guess it's high time I ask it myself...
Recently I've been seeing some of my art on other sites like e621/e926, derpibooru, tumblr, twitter, weasyl, and furrybooru. And I don't even have to mention the obvious thievery that took place on Deviantart; so, DA as well... Mostly what I've seen of my art on these sites are by the commissioners themselves, which I don't have much of a problem with. (I only wish you'd tell me ahead of time if you're gonna upload my art anywhere else!) But -some- instances I've seen no links to the art and the commissioner at all... Luckily no other person has claimed it as their own though and I have been credited, so at least there's that; which I'm thankful for!
But it got me wondering... How many of my watchers come from FA? I'm pretty sure like, 99.8% of you all do, save for some of those who met me on TF2... but it'd be nice to know haha
Even if someone introduced you to my page! That'd also be nice to know~ :D
I like feeling more connected with you all ._. What are some really cool bugs you know of? (Character help)

So maybe you guys can help me out? :D
I'm looking for anything that'll give me inspiration honestly, but anything with a main color yellow or purple is ideal.
I guess pink too?
Anyway, one of them (yellow) is guaranteed to be a male, and he's gonna have more of an ant-feel to him..possibly beetle..not sure.
The other one will probably be some sort of flying insect and could be male or female though I'm learning more towards female because I have enough male characters and I want to balance them out a little bit more. Plus, I've had my share of purple/pink colored male characters in the past and I'd rather not go that direction anymore.
Not to mention I'm not a fan of purple. So......maybe blue?

I've got quite a few characters I'm working on lately even though I haven't been drawing. They're all in my head for the most part, and there's probably too many of them to upload individually so I may just make a compilation submission with them. Though then I couldn't elaborate on them individually ... dunno! We'll see. I've got about 5 new ideas ready for painting and priming :D

Everyone you have met throughout your life would think of you as your changed gender, not your previous one
Except for your blood-related family and ones you consider your closest friends
You would have to explain to them and try and get them to understand what happened
Consequences resulting from their actions would not count towards the "no consequences" rule
Depending on your family, you may be accepted or disowned
But only blood-related family would be affected
And how would your friends react?
Would they think you're crazy if you tell them that you didn't get a sex change, it "just happened overnight"
Would they just chalk it up to "oh, so_and_so had a dream. probably covering for the fact that they had a sex change and want us to believe it happened by some magical force"
Or would they be accepting and try and understand that you were telling the truth with a supernatural force?
I don't believe in the supernatural myself, I believe absolutely everything and anything can be explained by science
This is just one of those "what-if" questions

A wizard (lol) came to me with a contract after I lost some sort of....race? or something along those lines
It's weird... I've never had gender problems, ever
I'm happy being the way I am. I think.
But ever since I was like..... 10 or 11, I've always been a male in my dreams, and I don't know why
This is the first dream since then that I've been a female
I've never had a desire to be male but there it is, an alternate universe while I sleep
Is this common for everyone? I have a slight feeling it is, haha, because naturally the human mind is curious of what the other side is like
We're such curious creatures
In advance before people start thinking I'm awkward or having gender problems or whatever I'm not, dreams just seem to portray an alternate reality for everyone; naturally

Perhaps soon I may need to seriously buckle down and begin my own life

Pokemon X/Y is the WORST excuse for a bad game ever.
Gamefreak, if you wanted to make a bad game, why didn't you just try? I mean for fucks sake. It's not that hard. They're all over the place now. All you have to do it look in any corner of the gaming industry and you'll find even an ounce of inspiration.
I mean, I've put in over 11 hours into the game already and I -just- got to the first town with a gym in it. It took me so long because of all these damn features that you decided were a good idea to add on. Every few steps I have to pull up this fucking Pokemon Amie thing.
And the game is online! All - the - time! This means literally anyone across the world can just randomly interact with you and shit. Who's to say everyone wants that?? Why did your designers come up with this idea?
And this wonder trade thing. Holy. Fucking. Shit. Any pokemon for any pokemon? Really? You could put a bidoof in there and get a zygarde in response. I mean why the fuck would anyone want to do that?
Sigh.... Gamefreak, you've really surprised me this time. I don't know how you did it, but you've got some sort of talent for breaking the perfect continuity Pokemon had with your own style. Way to fucking go, ya nutters.
P.S. if you're gonna post a rant on this journal you better re-read it taking my wording into consideration :)

My queue has died down so naturally I have a little more leeway again!
I just checked my bank account, apparently I have not a cent. Zip. Zilch. AUGH. IT'S EMBARRASSING.
I spent it all on groceries for our family last week. It goes by so faaast. T__T
But I suppose none of you are here to listen about that. Anyway, I will be opening 3 commission slots again.
They will be done within 2 weeks from payment, just like last time.

A few things:
- THIS IS NOT ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS! I will CHOOSE which characters I draw! Sorry to those quick enough, but I like to be fair. I will label the journal as closed once I've chosen. I'll give about a day's time for posting.
- Females are preferred! If you don't have a female character, that is all right, it doesn't mean males are exempt. I just prefer to draw females.
- If you can help it, please no foxes! I have to draw foxes so often and I like having variety. Once again, this doesn't mean foxes are exempt, so don't feel discouraged about posting a fox character.
- Bugs obviously have a higher chance for me choosing, but this time around I'm feeling creative. Interpret that as you wish.
- Also, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEEE READ MY WILL-NOT-DRAW LIST!!! x__x

If I'm correct, you only need the friend code of someone's 3ds to be tied with Pokemon X/Y, correct? It doesn't have friend codes like Black/White?
I've got two teams to transfer from Black/Black2 but I think the transferring system has yet to be released, or something.... if someone knows more information on this subject it'd be greatly appreciated if you could inform me as if I was a 5 year old.

For those who have had their art stolen on DA before: might I suggest doing this ( http://madam-sketchy.deviantart.com.....ople-221612922 ) rather than reporting individual submissions. It seems they respond to that rather than submission reports.

I was just wondering.... does anyone out there still play Neopets?
I rejoined a few days ago to try and rebuild after being unfairly frozen a couple years ago
but like...making NP seems so hard now
and the lab ray is over 1m now for some reason

Rebuilding's the long story
I figured I'd give it another shot since it's something to do during the day when no one's on and I don't feel like drawing~
I just don't know if it's popular enough anymore
Right now it seems like the only thing keeping it up is the whole NC mall thing
that and pet trading, but eh..
In any case
if anyone still plays lemme know we can be like. neofriends or some shit XD

The funny thing is, they actually took my name too, and is using the deviantart name MisoTheFox

And it was easy for him to get away with it too, since I don't have an actual DA account, I just have one thats like 8 years old that I use just to favorite some things now and then
I tried reporting all their submissions with proof that they did not draw it, but DA staff has never done anything about that in the past.
I just don't want people to get ripped off by buying something that isn't theirs, especially since this person is selling my stuff as adoptables. Including 1 commission for
and 1 commission for

But in any case
**** SPOILERS BELOW DON'T READ IF YOU WANT TO GO INTO THE GAME WITHOUT ANY KNOWLEDGE ****
I'm disappointed there weren't any new bug pokemon. I heard a rumor that they were gonna have a new bug/ghost type, but so far no new bug types have been shown. At least they were playing around with different typings, such as steel/ghost and the sort. Plus, with the whole new gameplay and especially the balance with the new fairy type, it's a lot to introduce. Still, only 69 new pokemon in the Kalos reason? I dunno, I can't lie I'm a little disappointed there. But at least we'll have a lot more to play around with this gen. But even then, post-game is short as well. This is of course, assuming there are no post-game legendaries after Zygarde... speaking of...
Zygarde's the "Z" legendary. #718. A dragon/ground basilisk thing... totally bamf... He's not ghost nor bug, so he won't fit on either of my EV trained teams, but god damn I wanna use him. Maybe I'll assimilate a random team of my favorites and use them.
But even then, I have no one to battle!
So I say this again. I totally want to battle some people who are getting X/Y. Or at least have B/W2. I've got two teams and haven't even battled yet xD
Speaking of battling, has anyone heard leaks about the transferring system? I've heard that transferring from gen 5 to 6 requires you to purchase a "pokemon bank" thing that is released in December and requires $5 a year to use it. Is this true ? Because if it is...well...let's be honest here, that's kind of ridiculous ($5 is nothing but to actually CHARGE for such a thing?) They've never done anything like this before. It's kinda like Nintendo having DLC like many xbox games have; I don't like it.
But in any case.
Starter final evos all look silly. Gredinja is a yucky pile of mess. Also should have been named Frogue. Chesnaught is so different I dunno what to say about him. Delphox is the lesser of all evils, so I guess it's team Fennekin for me; go figure, since I'll be ending up with a torchic (whom I wont use) and a charmander as well.
