no real progress in moving because of health reasons

Posted 11 years agoI finally got around to watching it due to being hesitant about the art style and everything
but even as I watched it, all that melted away as soon as the story unfolded and I found myself tearing up and laughing at some parts.
In the end I ended up crying applauding the anime.
Sure the art style is sometimes weird and wonky and the voice acting is different but god damnit I love Sailor Moon so damn much.
I missed this and this is my childhood.
Seeing it brand sparkling new and out and about makes me get all giddy all over again.
I'm so happy ;~;

could've been better
so here is my review of the new godzilla movie, i'm sorry if this offends anyone but this is my opinion and you don't have to agree or read this.
Please don't read if you haven't seen it
First off, the way they handled the history of Godzilla was very confusing. I think they mixed some information up or changed some things that don't correlate into the old films. Plus for new godzilla fans, the explanation was really confusing.
Second, I found myself half the time screaming because they kept teasing us with a fight scene only to diverge it into the human story. It was basically about the people more than godzilla himself. Might as well name it "Humans doing nothing useful featuring Godzilla." It wasted so much time and energy just to prove that they couldn't do shit against these creatures. They were like "safety! safety" but those people ended up dying anyways. I found myself laughing so much when I saw them shooting at the monsters as if it were going to harm them when they clearly knew it wasn't.
Speaking of the fight scene, it was so god damn short and unsatisfying. You had 2 minutes of fighting at the end, which seemed rushed, and an awkward ending. They tried to pull your heart strings only to fail. The fighting was slow paced as well, I was expecting Mr. Zilla to grab that god damn piece of flying poop and rip his wings off at one point but that was expecting too much I guess.
This whole movie was basically about the humans and people just standing around going "we gotta do something!" and achieving nothing but danger to themselves. There were so many flaws in the way things were thought out, I just wanted to slap a few people.
also am I the only one who was annoyed they made it begin in Japan but had an american family be the main focus of the plot? Like...couldn't you have made it authentic a bit and have subtitles or something? It seemed like they were saying "oh hey this is in japan but don't worry we have americans here so you can understand them and relate yay!"
My friends and I have deemed the main guy to be radioactive or some shiz. This man survived 3 times because of plot armor AND everything had to happen around him because of muh plot.
Did he really have to lay on the boat with the nuke as well? Couldn't he just put it on auto, push the boat off the dock and stayed on the dock? Or I don't know, unequip all his gear and jump in the water?
Also please someone give that bus driver a medal of honor. He was the only one who did anything and was actually thinking correctly.
Why did they keep the young guy alive if he really wasn't useful at all? Should've kept the dad alive so he could've helped with the research and stuff but noooo
also I laugh because the dad's research was like a big thing only to be shrugged off as "oh yeah we already know this"

I usually don't air out my problems but like I need to get out of here. I am at my wits end and I just can't...
If you know anyone who is looking for a roommate or something, I'd be up for it.
I have an offer waiting in one place but they have to settle things first and I dunno if I can wait that long D:
I prefer girl roommates but because of desperate need to be somewhere safe boy roommates are fine.
Like I said I don't usually ask random people because I'm afraid of the outcome or try to do things on my own but it's been getting harder and harder and I have to get out of here

This one is a 2002 desktop running on windows xp
and one of the drivers for windows has failed so ugh.
luckily I backed up all my art files the day before so yay!
but yeah art hiatus until I get things fixed

so I'm having a few thoughts on things to do and have been like having second thoughts on everything.
I need a second opinion or so <3
First off, should I keep the changes on Geisha? Does the streaks look okay in his mane or do you prefer the original look?
I wasn't sure if I liked the changes or not. My reason to have changed him was because I came across these pony guides and Cutie Critics that would suggest matching colors to the cutie mark and such. Geisha just had a cutie mark that had two colors that were no where on his person. I felt a bit bad about it but now I'm not sure if I want to keep these changes or not considering I still love the classic look and I'm all about simplification.

Second, speaking of simplification sometimes I wonder if I should simplify Ink and make her the three browns and that's it and remove all the other colors or markings. I just haven't been feeling like anything lately.
My muse for art is gone, I've had no urge to draw or even check FA for that matter. I've been having a disinterest in furry stuff for a bit.
For awhile I've just been lingering on other sites and stuff. At first I thought it was because I was really upset about my crush and how things didn't work out but it's not even that. I just feel lost.
I feel like I lost my place here or around anyone.
I can't find the right motivation or anything.
