Regarding owed work:
My schedule at my current part time job has changed so I'm finally not stuck working 40+ hours a week. I have more time to work on art again! :') 2019 is off to a wonderful start. I'd like to complete everything I owe as soon as possible, but I will need your cooperation and understanding as well! Thank you to my lovely clients who have been so patient with me. I am hoping to churn out more work soon!!! <3

Hiatus & Commission Work

My mental health has been rapidly declining and I'm afraid I won't be much anymore.
Regarding commissions if you are a customer:
Don't fret. Your art has been in the works. Not one commission hasn't been started. I'm taking a break from everything except my work. I'm hoping to clear through my queue by February. Once that's done I think I'm going to be done with everything for good. If you are curious on the status of your commission please feel free to email

I am currently overwhelmed with my mental state right now and I need time to breathe. It should take me at the absolute most, a week to respond. Any longer and you can poke me again.

Sort of an art update I guess idk
Posted 8 years agoThere's going to be a new way I start accepting commissions but for now I'm on a bit of an art hiatus as I'm looking for ways to improve my mental health. Not going to be accepting many commissions unless it's a reference sheet or telegram stickers just because simple sketches don't help me pay the bills.
Also going to try to be more professional. I've tried being a more down to earth artist but it's enabled others to step all over me and break my TOS whilst pushing me around and I'm just not going to have that. I've always hated the idea of being 100% serious and monotone with robot-like mannerisms in text or in person, but I guess it's the only way I'll be able to work with people and make sure no one tries anything on me.
From now on I will soon only be accepting orders through my website that is under construction at and thru email. But right now commissions are closed until further notice. I'll probably be putting out more YCHs to pay bills, so..yeah.

Posted 9 years agoIf anyone's commissioned me in the past 2-3 months and haven't received anything, please let me know asap. I keep a list of my customers in my phone notes. It's been a crazy last couple months and I owe some of my customers a good explanation! Rest assured I don't want anybody to be upset. So here goes my huge post.
Late July:
Laptop starts being weird, slowing down more than usual. I see a post from a user on facebook selling a laptop. I tell her I'll buy it. She promises to ship it asap
Mid-August:
After weeks of not getting a new laptop, my laptop dies. It's done for. A few commissions lost, incomplete. I have my dad help me out for a new laptop, along with a good friend helping me as well.
I get a job.
Things are going okay. Artwork is slowing down.
September:
My Yiynova MSP19 (drawing moniter) breaks. I am left without a new tablet for about 1 and a half or 2 weeks or less if I remember correctly. I take traditional commissions to go towards a new tablet. A good friend again, helps me out and I buy a new tablet. Commissions continue to be slow due to work.
I get a car. My dad gave me his old truck and it is my first car. I paid somewhere around over $300 for the title and plates.
I get told I need to find a place to live before next year, my mom will be abandoning our home and in short leaving me and my own brother homeless. Causes a bit of stress.
My car won't start. Thinks it's a problem with the alarm. Takes it to the shop, it isn't the alarm. They don't know.
One day my car won't start. Again, I think it's the alarm. I get the car towed to the shop. Left without one for a week. Didn't work on commissions at all because if this.
Go to pick up my truck, turns out I needed a new starter! $400. (With the tow)
Car troubles don't end there. A week later, my brakes go out and I come very close to hitting another car.
I pay $100 for new brake pads.
By this time, I have $0 to my name.
After getting the brake pads replaced by my dad, things were better.
October:
I begin working on owed commissions from July. Yes, July.
I get a new phone, I get back to work, things are back on track. I'm slowly getting to owed commissions. With holiday seasons coming up, I work way more hours than I am used to. So art will continue to be slow.
YES, some artists take a long time. As long as I have this job, I will unfortunately, continue to take at least a month or two on new commissions. No, I am not lazy. No, I DO care. Art is very time consuming and I'm afraid the only time I have to work are my off days. (Once or twice a week.)
I am guilty of telling my commissioners "it will be done tomorrow, or this day!" And not having for them simply because i couldn't finish it. I get tired, I can forget, I get angry if a piece doesn't look how I want it. I don't want to sound like a jerk doing so. I apologize to anyone who has experienced that with me. It gets hard. I'm not asking anybody to feel bad for me, but at least feel for me. Understand that everybody, artist or not, has a life, and you have no idea how a person's life is until youve walked miles in their shoes.
So again, to my commissioners: I apologize.
You are free to request a refund, unless a piece is past the sketching stage. In that case you will receive half of what you originally paid me, or if a piece has been fully completed, no refund will be given unless I think otherwise.
If you do not wish to request a refund, I am happy to draw an extra piece, free of charge, to make up for lost time. This can be a flat color image, an icon, a colored sketch, or a badge of your choice.
Once again, I apologize for any misunderstanding, lost commission, or late commission. But I will be glad to meet a middle ground if a commissioner chooses to do so!

Posted 9 years agoDue to the attacks, I've officially become fed up with Fur Affinity. This site is where I first started out and kind of...discovered my art style and my "furry self" in a way; so for that, Thanks, FA for some pretty good 8 years. I first joined when I was lol, 12 years old.

Posted 9 years agoPersonal issues found a way into my head again and I'm just too depressed to be working. I won't get into details because it's nobody's business-just know art will be a bit slow.
My new tablet should come in the mail Monday and I will be working on just one commission a day instead of three or four.

Posted 9 years agoAfter Panda's recent vet visit, I was able to raise $395 from donations along with extra money on the side from people buying my art!
I can't thank everyone enough for all that they've done, I've never seen so much kindness before in my life.
That being said, Panda is doing really well and is pretty much back to normal c: No more seizures from here on out, let's hope.

So since everything has been dealt with, I've actually gotten a bad sinus infection and I've got no idea as to how long it'll last but I'm trying to be as well as I can be right now. I'm relaxing, sleeping, drinking tea, honey, soup broth and such..commissions will remain on hold until March 6th- hopefully I will feel better by then and get to work on everything I owe. Thank you for being so patient and supportive!

EMERGENCY: Panda's Vet Bill- Help, please!!

Today, my beloved border collie Panda had a violent seizure that very well almost gave me a heart attack. He was shaking uncontrollably, drooling, and vomiting. My roommate and I drove him over to a vet where he stayed for a few hours, and had 2 more seizures while being there. After treatment, we were given the bill that came out to be $587.
Being a self employed artist, I don't make enough to be financially stable;so in short, I have posted a GoFundMe for Panda's vet bills. Every little bit counts. Please spread the word and help out if you can!
Panda is being taken back to the vet tomorrow morning for another check up and to take off his cone,bandages, etc.

Because of this, I will be moving to Indianapolis, Indiana with some close friends.
I need some money to rent a Uhaul or something..
Also have to buy some new drawers seeing as how the one I have is waaay too big right now, some new puppy supplies for my dog Panda like food, new collar+tags, leashes, etc. Dog things

I didn't know this before IFC, and now I regret going.
I need around $100 for these shots and tests.
I cannot open for anymore commissions, as the turnaround time would turn become two months. I have too large of a queue to continue.
Plus, I'm moving very soon, and I want to be able to get him his shots before I do so..
