Posted a year agoHaven't created a journal here in years but this feels like the right space to leave my thoughts.
I'm an old guy from the before FA times, what Dragoneer did for this community was something simply unfathomable back then. To create what feels like such a simple site for furrys to come together and easily share their art and their thoughts. He was a pillar in what created the fandom as it is today without a doubt.
We were never close but the few times I bumped into him at FA:U he was always such a genuine guy, trying to make something for us all to enjoy.
Nothing is perfect, this site isn't perfect, he wasn't perfect, but each and every one of us here owe a lot to the guy. It was a disgrace what happened to him, what this country allows to happen to anyone who is sick. But Dragoneer made his mark, we will all always remember and know that 'He was here'. May you rest in peace...
This site may not be perfect but marks my words, if we lose FA we'll probably be getting 'modern' doom scrolling type sites run by an algorithm next. I hope that there is a way that whoever this site goes to can keep it running and maybe reach out to the community for help to do so.

April Fools XD - Looking to Sell my Fursuit

Hey all,
After a lot of consideration I've decided that it's time to sell that wonderful fullsuit that
DreamVisionCreations has done for me. I just don't get to enough cons to really justify keeping it around, I would like someone to have it who can make fuller use of it!
Please note I'm just selling the suit, my lovely draconic self will always remain my character.
Some details about it, I'm 5'9 and about 170 Pounds so that should give an idea about the body size. The feet are a size 9.5 but if that doesn't work out I'm sure they could help make new footpaws for you.
The suit includes the resin based head with fan and LED eyes, the full suit, tail, and wings.

I dunno what happened, was so totally surprised when my regularly monthly bill for rent came in! I just don't have the money guys, please help!
If I don't get it soon I'm gonna be homeless!
Oh, I've also recently adopted 2 dogs, 5 cats, an alligator, 3 kangaroos, a lion, and a golden eagle. I can't afford food or vet bills for any of them! I don't care about my own life but please guys, my pets need help and I can't pay the billz and we're all going to be homeless together! D:!
*looks shyly down at his paws* I... I have also been diagnosed with the black plague.. without treatment I may only live another few months but I need help to pay to even see a doctor...
Please guize, every bit helps, I luff you all and I promise to be a better person <33333333333 Any porn you see of me has already been paid for, there's no way I could possibly ask an artist who hasn't started a commission for a refund.
Disclaimer: I know some really do suffer on hard times. But please take a moment and realize how ridiculous this all sounds before you donate your hard earned cash to any beggar on the internet.

Back From The West
Posted 11 years agoTyger and I got back from our west coast trip this morning, thanks to everyone who made it another great con ^_^
Though it almost didn't even happen! The night before our flight I got bowled over by a nasty bout of food poisoning. I spent most of the night in the bathroom and was seriously contemplating not even going, was worried it might have been flu related symptoms. But in the end I mustered up the energy to haul my ass to JFK and managed to make the flight with no issue.
So that leads me to our first leg of the trip and a huge shoutout and thanks to
Byzil and 
HypnoticDragon They graciously hosted us in a Sacremento for a few days before we all drove down to FC. I was pretty much dead the first couple of days but I quickly recovered and was able to have a good time, you guys are awesome <3
Then the con itself was pretty sweet, all the damn dragons go to that con, I swear, lol. And it's probably my favorite con to suit for as well, perfect weather and almost everyone there loves the suiters, from the drunken milfs one night to the volleyball girls XD
If anyone has any pictures of me in suit, please pass them along! <3
Even though I don't always show it I do enjoy hanging out with everyone, I'm just not much for big groups. But you guys are all awesome and I love you <3
Now we're back east just in time for this latest winter storm. Ugh. I miss the sun and the warmth and the Philz coffee ;.;

But AC was pretty swell this year. A lot sure has changed since the con last year but I'd say that everything has been for the better ^_^
Was great to see some familiar faces and it was a pleasure to see some new ones and start to get to know some of you :)

Quick Bit About Anthrocon! Info on Aviary Trip too

Tyger and I will be arriving in Pittsburgh on Thursday, staying until Monday over in the Omni this year ^_^
We'll be hangin around with a bunch of folks we're eager to meet plus we'll probably be happy to meet some new faces <3 Drop us a tweet or something if you're around, we'll probably be easy to spot in our jerseys and/or fursuits.
Now about the Aviary, this has become a yearly thing that a group of us enjoy going to, see all the pretty birds~
I don't want a huge group but if some of you are interested in going just let me know. The subway ride is apparently free from the station near the Omni to the station nearest the Aviary and we'll be going on Thursday this year due to all the obligations of artist alley that folks have. Tweet or note me if you're interested!
