Year-End Update
Posted 6 years agoHey everyone! Season's greetings! I hope all of you had a very Merry Christmas! First of all, I want to extend my most heartfelt gratitude to all of you over the past month who have commented and faved my Lithixmas project. It was essentially conceived as a way of doling out Christmas gifts to all of my friends on Discord, but the amount of attention it received here too is truly humbling! Altogether over the past month, I've seen a tremendous surge in favorites, with over 360 and counting since the end of November! This is the first time I've ever seen a number that high, either here or on my old defunct account at DA, and I never expected to ever experience that amount of attention. ^^;; Thank you all so much for making me feel like my art is really appreciated. And I also would like to extend a very special welcome to all of the new watchers I picked up over the course of December, too-- thanks for taking such an interest in my work, and I hope I can continue to produce artwork that appeals to all of you.
In all likelihood, this is going to be my last journal entry of 2019. So, as we move into the new year, I wanted to give you a bit of an update, and explain what you can expect from me in terms of starting off 2020. First of all-- there are a few one-shot personal projects that I would like to work on for the beginning of January, after the holiday buzz has died down a bit. And then... I'm once again considering opening up commissions in the later part of the month. I know I tried that once, and ended up not doing it due to lack of public interest; this time, however, I have actually had several people over the past month come to me and inquire about them, so I figured this was a good time to try again. I'll try to have some sort of pricing guide for everyone in place before I announce that I'm open. Keep in mind, this is going to be extremely limited-- I can't devote my full time to TF commissions, and I'm just sort of testing the waters again, so for this first batch, I'm only thinking about opening 5 slots. If this ends up being successful, maybe I'll be able to take a second batch later on. Keep an eye on my journal in mid-January for more information!
Once again, thank you all for such a positive reception! I hope everyone has a wonderful New Year, and I'll see you again in January!

24 Days of Lithixmas!
Posted 6 years agoHey, everyone! You may have noticed I haven't been very active on FA lately. I just wanted to drop in briefly to explain why, and to let you know that my inactivity here in recent weeks doesn't mean I haven't been producing art. In fact... I've actually kind of got a special project in the works. :D
Several of you know that I'm a regular at the Transformation Duel Club. For those of you who aren't familiar, the club started as a room on F-List, and then migrated to its very own Discord server. It's a fun, welcoming place where a group of TF enthusiasts hang out, RP, and duel for the privilege of transforming each other. I've been a member of the club now (in some form or another) for the better part of two years now, and in more ways than just the obvious, it has truly been a transformational experience. I've shared so many intimate moments with my friends there, both good and bad, and they've really helped me get through quite a few rough patches. So, since I owe so much to the whole Duel Club community, I decided this holiday season that I wanted to show my gratitude to everyone there for being such amazing friends. And that's where my project, "24 Days of Lithixmas", comes in.
The project has been in development for a long time; I began fleshing out the actual concept of it as early as April, but I knew it would not come to fruition until the end of this year. Essentially, the way it works is like an advent calendar-- each day of December, from the 1st to the 24th, something new is revealed, counting down the days to Christmas. But of course, for my project, there's a fun twist:
For the month of December, I will be revealing 24 new pieces of TF art-- one a day, every day until Christmas Eve. Each one is intended as a present for someone at the club, and will feature their character(s) getting TF'd by my character Mona. There's even a narrative that ties the whole thing together, a story which I have titled "The Ring of Sephri-Khet", and which will be posted up one piece at a time along with the artwork. I have spent much of October and November working on this immense project, organizing the final roster, writing the story, and producing the artwork. Most of it is done already, and waiting to be posted when the time comes.
The first piece of the puzzle goes up two weeks from today, on November 30, when I post up the beginning of the story. The very next day, December 1, the real fun gets underway, and it doesn't stop until Christmas! I hope all of you will enjoy following along with it as well, and wish all of you a very merry holiday season. ^^

I'm still here ^_^;;
Posted 6 years agoHey, just wanted to post a quick message to let everyone know I'm still here. I know it's been a while since I've been active-- as I mentioned earlier, I was absolutely slammed with work in July, and I didn't have any time or energy to devote to art here. Luckily, it looks like August really will be better after all; things are calming down, so I'm starting to dig into my extensive backlog of projects that have been sitting on the back burner for a month. Over the next few weeks, hopefully I'll be able to pick up the pace a bit with my submissions on FA again.
Thanks for understanding and being patient! ^^;;

Swamped
Posted 6 years agoJust figured I'd give a bit of an update on my situation, since it's been a while since I've posted anything. Unfortunately, it's going to be a while before I can post any new art to my gallery-- summer is my busy season with my work, and lately I've just been so occupied with things on the professional side that I really haven't had time to devote to TF artwork. July is going to be absolutely packed for my schedule, and August might not be much better. I'll try to keep you all in the know as I find out more myself.
On the plus side, I may have come up with a way to actually accept money without any risk to my anonymity! This means, when things finally quiet down, I might be willing to open myself up to your art trades and commissions. My last journal post didn't get many replies, but it did demonstrate to me that there are at least some of you who might be interested. So I'll definitely be taking it under consideration for autumn!

About Commissions...
Posted 6 years agoAlright, I've gotten a few inquiries about taking commissions and requests, so I believe my position bears a little explanation.
My situation is this: I'm still fairly new to FA as a fetish artist-- though, I do seem to be developing a bit of a following, for which I'm really extremely grateful. ^^ However... I also have a life and an artistic practice outside of my interest in TF, and I'm really not keen on mixing the two. You might call me a little paranoid, and that's probably completely justified, but I'm extremely uncomfortable with the prospect of anyone outside a core of close trusted friends knowing my actual identity. I've been researching methods for accepting money for commissions, and unfortunately, it really doesn't seem like there's any easy way for me to do it while retaining a level of anonymity and separation between my two art practices that would make me comfortable. I know most artists here use PayPal. I've already got a personal account there, and I've looked into what it would take to set up a business account, and they each have their own problems in the context of making money off of my fetish art. So, as much as I want to accept commissions, I really can't-- at least, until I figure out some way to do it that allows me to remain relatively comfortable.
As far as requests are concerned, I admit, I'm really not terribly enthusiastic about the prospect of doing larger polished pieces for others without being able to monetize them. I know that probably makes me sound awful, but as a professional artist, I truly believe it devalues not only what I do, but what other artists do as well. I don't want to contribute to the attitude that art isn't a serious enterprise. I draw fetish art because I love TF, but my time is valuable, and my fetish art usually has to take a backseat to the other work I produce for a living. This is especially true if I can't get some sort of personal reward out of it. I simply don't have the luxury of allowing something that doesn't provide me with income to monopolize all my time. That said... I'm still possibly open to the idea of taking smaller sketch requests down the road at some point, so long as they aren't going to be too much of a burden.
At the moment, the only arrangement I can think of that truly works for me is art trades. I am absolutely open to those, because I always love getting new art, and at least I would be receiving something in exchange for my work. ^^ But I realize that's not entirely fair to my watchers who aren't artists, which is also why I'm considering taking small sketch requests.
But... perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself here. One of the reasons I'm posting this journal in the first place is because I'd like to gauge the level of interest in my artwork. I've been getting a lot of watches and favorites, which is definitely a positive sign... but I'm not seeing quite as many comments. I'd really like feedback here. If I were somehow able to find a way to offer commissions, or if I offered to accept sketch requests and art trades, would anybody be interested?

Signal Boost!
Posted 6 years agoHey, all! I just wanted to post to help promote a friend of mine,
elamistheman, also known as Lexam or Circine. Recently a storm flooded his apartment, and his bed was ruined. He's trying to save up money for a new one, and could really use some commissions right now. Lexam writes really nice TF stories, and he's just generally a really great person-- I highly recommend checking out his work, and helping him out!
Here's a sample of his writing, if you're interested: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/30745113

Thanks for the support!
Posted 6 years agoHey, everyone, I just wanted to say that... I'm absolutely overwhelmed and humbled by the warm reception I've gotten here. I held back from sharing my TF-related artwork for so long, and now that I've actually made the leap to showing it off... I really wish I'd done it sooner. The past five days have been a constant torrent of comments, faves, and new watchers, and I'm so grateful that you all like my work so much!
I did also want to mention, briefly, that I'm going to be taking a bit of break from posting art. Not too long-- I should hopefully have some new stuff to show off in mid-April. I know I really just got started, but it can't be helped. I'm going to be away for about a week, starting at the end of March. Rest assured, though, I already have a bunch of ideas for new work I want to do here, when I actually have an opportunity!
Thanks again for being so welcoming and supportive, and I hope to resume submitting art soon!
