yep, thats right! i'm back at school. all moved in to my apartment with my 4 other roomies. its gonna be a fun year full of ridiculousness.

Wednesday morning, we had to put my dog to sleep after having her for 13 years. she had intestinal lymphoma and had a tumor growing underneath her eye. She wasn't eating much and was very sick. We were supposed to do it on tuesday but my cousin and i fought my mom on it. We weren't ready to let her go and we wanted her to live out the rest of her days. Wednesday morning, my mom yelled into my room that she needed help. I ran out into the other room to see my Rosie having a stroke. The vet told us not to let her go past the middle of the week and he was right. Tuesday morning around 11:30 I said goodbye to my dog for the last time, started crying and ran out of the vet's office to the car. My mom followed me shortly, and she was crying too. All I keep thinking of is little things that remind me of Rosie. I was crying sporadically throughout the day and then broke down in hysterics once everyone else went to sleep. My boyfriend kept telling me that it'll be ok, that it'll get easier. Even tonight...I started crying for something as silly as putting the toilet seat down out of habit so she wouldn't drink out of it. Or how I wont be able to hang her stocking with the rest of ours at Christmas. And it's going to be painful putting her ornaments on the tree. I just miss her so much. I know it'll get better, but I'm still having trouble letting go.

so, i went to AC this past weekend. it was my first AC evar. i had a fun time. i enjoyed the atmosphere a lot (minus the epic amounts of dramz towards the end...but we wont get into that). anywho, i'd very much like to go back next year. it would be fun. :3

/end pitiful story

so today I spent my afternoon in the hospital. why? because i got bitten by a spider and it turned into a bacterial infection. google "cellulitis" and youll see what it is. my thumb was all swollen and itchy but i didnt think anything of it because i'm allergic to spider bites. but then today i noticed a red streak going down my arm from my thumb. so i was all "HOLY FUCKNUT!" and went to the hospital. They stuck an IV in my arm and pumped me with some IV drugs. They've got me on two different medications (Keflen and Bactin) to help with this nonsense. I have to take 2000 mg of Keflen a day (4 times a day) and the other one twice a day. So much medication. And then I have to go back to the hospital tomorrow to get more IV drugs. And then they can finally take this damn IV out of my arm. Yeah, its still in my arm. They left it in. Sleeping's gonna be fun.
And then I go to AC. On all these antibiotics. Limited alcohol for me. And limited sun exposure due to the amount of sulfur in one of the meds. FFFFFFFFFFFF

welp, FA:U 3 was my first furry con. all in all, despite exhaustion and some hangovers, it went very well. :D

i'll be going to AC in 3 weeks.
