Fell off my porch, managed to knock the wind out of myself. Once I got up and sat down, I passed out for a good 30 seconds, much to my family's alarm. Needless to say, it was not a good day. I'm bruised and sore. Happened on Thursday and I still feel sore and kind of out of it.

Anyway, still alive!

How is everyone doing?

It's been a hard few years. My health has been in decline. My dog died in 2019. My sister died last year and my mental health has tanked to a new low. My scanner died and being a traditional artist means that I'm not able to post artwork. I am also struggling with carpal tunnel syndrome.

Did I mention catching covid recently?


I'm having a string of bad luck, but I am alive. I hope you all are doing better.

I haven't been able to produce content in a long time. It's not that I don't draw, it's that I don't post my art anymore. I just don't have the confidence I once had. On top of that, my sister's health is bad and I have been taking care of her, making sure she takes her medicine and staying overnights with her when she has to spend time in the hospital. I'm exhausted.

Just saying Hi to those who might be thinking I've completely dropped off the face of the earth.

So, since the season of giving is coming up and we're all thinking of loved ones, I know that charities will also be looking for hand outs.

http://www.littlevictories.org is a no kill animal shelter near where I live that is trying hard to get enough money to build more shelters for their dogs. Most of the dogs at their sanctuary will never be adopted, because they are elderly or are special needs. However, they want to make sure those little fur angels have a full life never knowing hunger, pain, or cold. They make sure they have plenty of healthy food, medicine (when needed), blankets, shelters and toys for exercise.

Oh goodness, I forgot to mention, they also take in cats too!

They have pictures of each animal, stories of how they came to be at the sanctuary and such. Plus you can even sponsor an animal.

Anyway, if you want to help in some small way to a legit charity that will 100% of the donations to its intended, then give Little Victories a chance. :) Of course, check out your local non-kill shelters near you.

I don't want to sound desperate, but I kinda am. I still need to come up with $17.50 before the end of next month in order to pay the rest of the bill owed to the lawyer's office. I know that doesn't seem like much, but I haven't worked in almost two years. I'm willing to do any kind of commission to get the rest of the money.
