Getting Back in the Saddle
Posted 10 years agoHey guys. I've been pretty absent for a long time. I still come here and lurk, but I've long since neglected my art, and my skills have suffered for it. I'm getting back into it more now, and pushing myself to draw everyday. I might not POST every day, but I hope to have more stuff here to post more often. Also, I've been posting stuff to /r/furry on reddit under /u/NeoHexane if you frequent that area of the interwebs. Please check out my gallery. And comment! and fav and vote, ect ect ect....:D
Pangolins are the coolest animals!

They're pretty awesome! They have hard scales of keratin, the only mammal to have such a thing. And they're sharp, too. They have no teeth and long tongues like anteaters. On top of that, they can spray stink like a skunk! A little bag of tricks, these things.
This is one of my favorite things to do on the internet: fascinatedly browsing Wikipedia and it catalogue of animal species, seeing what is and isn't related to one another, evolutionary-wise. I could waste hours.
And I have.

fluffball's journal.
1. First thing you wash in the shower?
Top to bottom! I wash my hair first.
2. What color is your favorite hoodie?
Black. I love even though I keep getting nearly run over when it's dark out.
3. Would you kiss the last person you kissed again?
Every day.
4. Do you plan outfits?
Definately not. It's usually whatever's on the top of the pile.
5. How are you feeling RIGHT now?
Kinda buzzed on scotch.
6. What's the closest thing to you that is red?
A mechanical pencil and a strawberry Starburst are equidistant from me.
7. Tell me about the last dream you remember having?
I was in a First Person Shooter game, (like, actually experiencing the game firsthand) shooting at a blue anthro leopard in a jungle. It was wierd.
8. Did you meet anybody new today?
Nope :/
9. What are you craving right now?
Potato chips.
10. Do you floss?
No.
11. What comes to mind when I say cabbage?
Carnival folk.
12. Are you emotional?
No. I actually wish I was more emotional than I am.
13. Have you ever counted to 1,000?
If counting recyclable counts, (heh.) then yes
14. Do you bite into your ice cream or just lick it?
I lick. Biting it hurts my teeth.
15. Do you like your hair?
Yes, except when it sticks up at the back.
16. Do you like yourself?
I try to, but I always see much room for improvement.
17. Would you go out to eat with George W. Bush?
Maybe so I could put tabasco sauce in his burger.
18. What are you listening to right now?
My girlfriend teaching piano upstairs.
19. Are your parents strict?
I used to think so, but in retrospect, not really.
20. Would you go sky diving?
That's on my list of things to do before I die. I might have to put that last...in case I die doing it.
21. Do you like cottage cheese?
Only in lasagna. Otherwise it's like rotten milk.
22. Have you ever met a celebrity?
No :( I've been near them, but never met one.
23. Do you rent movies often?
Occasionaly. Usually for older movies that are hard to find.
24. Is there anything sparkly in the room you're in?
Some candy wrappers nearby are kinda sparkly.
25. How many countries have you visited?
I'm from Canada, and I've visted the USA, China, Hong Kong and Macau. (the last 2 are technically China too, but they don't feel that way)
26. Have you made a prank phone call?
Yes, but I couldn't keep from laughing, so they hung up.
27. Ever been on a train?
I slept in one.
28. Brown or white eggs?
Brown are better. I used to own chickens.
29.Do you have a cell-phone?
Yes, annoying little thing it is.
30. Do you use chap stick?
Yeah, or else I bleed.
31. Do you own a gun?
Only a toy bb gun.
32. Can you use chop sticks?
My girlfriend is from Hong Kong, and I use chopsticks better than she does.

My girlfriend. (I'm starting to sound sappy I think.)

Yes. But friends are too valuable to hold grudges.

I would say so.

Yes, and they are yummy.

Yes, damn cell phone companies, grrrrr....

I'm ok with it, but it could be better.

Posted 16 years agoLooked in my gallery stats to see what was viewed the most...I never thought it would be so one-sided. Every pic in my gallery has been viewed 100 times or less (usually like, 20) except for: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/604739, Which has been viewed 828 times! Lol.

Posted 16 years agoYay I made a new avatar. About damn time. I actually drew this one too. Apparently I suck at photoshop and it takes me 100 times as long as most proficient people to make anything good. :p Not sure if anyone actually reads my journal, but if anyone is reading this: Any suggestions on interesting stuff to draw? I'd like any new ideas to do for fun instead of working on my comic planning stuff. Any ideas will do, and I'm not squeamish when it comes to adult/mature stuff. (Although there is boundaries I won't cross..if I din't like it, I just won't draw it)

Posted 18 years ago Just thought I would say that. I love this site! It's not nearly so massive as DA, so it feels much more like a community. Also, focussing on one genre of art (with many sub-genres) Creates a much less mind-boggling array of things to catch my attention. Vive La Fur Affinity!!

Posted 19 years ago Hi everybody! I am new to this site, though I've been looking at it for quite a while. I wanted to show my art on a site full of people of similar taste, and with more freedom to do what I want. I come from DeviantART (username: Basilisk-Eye) and most of you might know that furry art is often looked down upon and anything too sexualy graphic is not too welcome there for the most part. I will still update to my DeviantART gallery as I do non-furry stuff too, but all my furry art will be posted here! ^_^ I do tame art, and some not-so-tame. So I hope you enjoy!
