A long hiatus (again)
Posted 2 months agoYou're probably wondering why I haven't uploaded anything in a while. There's actually a good reason for it.
I have been working on art, but most of the time, the pieces are getting so complex that they are too big to upload onto Fur Affinity with the 10MB limit. PNGs just appear to be much bigger files, and I prefer to save as PNGs, because I find JPEGs do something weird with the colours. I'm looking for a workaround, so I can retain the quality of my art without losing resolution, and not being over the size limit.

And that's us caught up!
Posted 11 months agoWell, took me long enough, but I got around to uploading all my outstanding art to my gallery. Just a mix of not finding time, or making pictures that were just too big to upload without some scaling down, because I simply refuse to convert files to JPEG to save file size - it's just a personal gripe because palettes don't match when you convert PNG to JPEG.
Anyway, each picture has their originaly complete date included, just so you know when I finished it.
Enjoy folks!

Six Months
Posted a year agoI know you've most likely been wondering what I've been up to for the last few months - unless you don't.
Well, I've been busy. That goes without saying, everyone is busy sometimes, but I have been super busy, with work, college, and conventions. I have been trying to keep up my artistic output, which has been a tough job, but it's all coming together. I just haven't gotten round to uploading it all, thus I have quite a substantial backlog to work through.
I just wanted to post this to say that I am still here, I haven't forgotten you, and I miss sharing my art.

A very important letter!
Posted 4 years agoFor those of you who know me, you'll know that I identify as non-binary, and one day hope to have surgery to have the genitalia that would feel correct for me. I've spoken to my GP and gotten a referral to a clinic.
Today, a letter came through saying I've been accepted, and now I am on a waiting list. Not sure how long the wait will be, but at least now I am going to be seeing someone I can speak to about my experience. I've also found a number of groups through Discord and Telegram whom have massively helped me when discussing dysphoria and giving me some great validation.
Here are the groups I joined (I believe they are 18+, so just be aware of that going in)
Trans Vagina Furs - A Telegram group for furries assigned male at birth who have genital dysphoria https://t.me/joinchat/FqidgdHozHJlYzYx
AMABwGD - Discord group for people assigned male at birth with genital dysphoria https://discord.gg/VHz24T7qsj
But I feel I should give a shout out to
acedaddydragon who's own journey has inspired me to begin my own and become more public with my gender identity. Thanks to his encouragement, I have taken the tentative steps to becoming my true self.
Here's to the first big step of a new voyage.

Commissions are OPEN for Confuzzled!
Posted 4 years agoHello there! At the time of writing, it is Confuzzled weekend 2021, and we are open for business! If you want an idea as to what it is we offer, this journal has links to all the promotional material regarding prices, products, and other important information.
My first recommendation would be to read through the Terms of Service. This lays out how transactions are run, as well as what material may or may not be available, and just some general rules about service. A copy is attached to your invoice as standard should you wish to commission us, and you can read through it again before agreeing to pay. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/31453320/
Now for the main material, we have our price listings. This list has been updated for 2021, with exchange rates for Euro (€) and US Dollar ($) included (though these may vary). This catalogue lists a large number of our products, but is by no means a complete list. If there is something in particular you are interested in or you'd like to make an enquiry, feel free to do so!
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/42077149/
For some projects, there may be additional fees that will be incurred, namely on options such as complex poses, lighting, or rapid turnaround. Our advice is to consult our additional fees listings to avoid any unwanted surprises or if you are interested in maybe splashing out for something special and fancy some inspiration.
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/42077163/
If you are concerned about price and are looking to make savings, then we can also offer discounts on art work. You can forgo features such as shading to go for what is known as "flats" or go for just sketches. Further details about how you can save money on commissions is available through this link.
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/42077182/
Lastly, we also offer reference sheets. If you're looking to update the reference for an existing character or perhaps looking to come up with a new one, this listing will tell you the basics of what you can expect to find on a reference sheet. These have a set base price, but you can pick and choose what extras you'd like, such as additional poses, outfits, or props references for more complex characters.
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/42077285/
If you are interested in products not listed or wish to consult us for larger projects, then we can be reached through most forms of instant messaging. Whilst reachable through Fur Affinity's Note system, we can also be reached through Telegram, Discord, and Facebook Messenger;
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MorbiusMonsterArt
Telegram: Giovannimagnus
Discord: GiovanniM#0872
If you'd like to offer tips or the odd bit of encouragement, all are appreciated; tips can be added to the invoice if you are commissioning, or you can tip directly via our PayPal.

Hope you all have an amazing weekend and have a good day!

A New Way to Pay for Commissions
Posted 4 years agoNo doubt some of you have seen my work and thought to yourself "Hmm, this art is really cool, I want to commission it, but I don't have the funds," Well, starting from today, I will be trialling a new way to pay for commissions if you are a little short for the full price.
I am a massive fan of online shopping, and my commissions feed that hobby, particularly with places like Wish. So here's what is available to you if you're short a few dollars and want to commission me. Simply get in touch, offer to buy something from my Wishlist, and you can get a discount on your commission depending on the item(s) you order. For instance, buying something small between £5-£7 (including P&P) will equate to £10 worth of art or off a commission of your choosing. Pretty neat huh?
My Wishlist will always be changing and growing, so there will always be something you can order to potentially save money.

Platypus
Posted 4 years agoNow then, if you watch my page, you no doubt saw me upload a picture of Dennis as a platypus, and how I was considering changed my cuddly koala to a plumpy platypus.
Well, it was an April Fool's joke.
Dennis is still a koala.

Dennis the Platypus
Posted 4 years agoAfter several months, I am just not feeling like a koala any more. But I like Dennis, so I'm making him a duck billed platypus now.
Dennis the Koala (some mature content warning)
Posted 5 years agoFor those of you who know me well, you'll know I have gone through multiple characters during my time in the fandom, but, funnily enough, not really had a fursona. Oh certainly I have cosplayed characters I have made, but they've had their own backstories, personalities, and individual meanings. This is the first time I have come up with a character that pretty much is me.
Why did I come up with Dennis you might say? Well, I have been through something of a low patch regarding my relationship with my other characters. Yes, I know, they're fictitious and exist only in my mind and creative work, but artists can have a relationship with the entities they create, and for Giovanni and Gideon, it wasn't necessarily a healthy one.
Giovanni is a representation of someone I would like to be, a character I aspire to be like, but sadly fall short of by some considerable amount, and it makes me feel inadequate. Gideon is an amalgamation of the traits that, in small doses, help one assert themselves, but he is someone who exhibits these traits in toxic amounts, and all too easily beguiles one into enabling their worst excesses. As such, holding myself to their standards was not good for my mental well being.
I have been doing some soul searching as to why I came up with these characters to begin with, and found that there was a lot about myself I dislike, and used these characters as escapism. Stuck with these people, it made me feel inadequate or weak, that the person I was in real life was such a dislikeable person, that my only escape was to become these characters.
In order to balance out myself, I would need to celebrate myself, or, at the very least, embody my more benign or likeable traits, and that's why I made Dennis. Dennis is short, stout, and sleepy, like many koalas, and yes I am much the same. I am short, chubby, and I do enjoy a good nap. These aren't necessarily bad traits, they're just me. Dennis enjoys nerdy t shirts, and all kinds of geeky things, like I do, and that too is a good thing I like about myself. Dennis does have his aspirations, but he likes to take it one day at a time, in a way he can handle, and, most of the time, he is contented with what he has and does just this, making good with himself, and this is something positive I feel, that even though I don't achieve the incredible in a day, I get through it and sleep all the easier knowing I did it to the best of my ability.
And yes, let's talk the elephant in the room, Dennis is intersex. I am not intersex in real life, but this is something I hope to properly address; being comfortable in my sexuality. I, like Dennis, have my softer, tender side, but don't really see these as gender fixed traits - Dennis doesn't see his vagina as feminine, he sees it as masculine. In his own words;
"I am a guy because of my vagina. Some guys have vaginas, therefore having a vagina makes me a guy."
Yeah, the logic doesn't necessarily make sense, but he identifies as male, and he finds his vagina to be a very male thing, because some men have one, and are still men because of it. It's why he calls his vagina his "little dude", but that's a story for another time.
So yeah, I felt like it was time I played as a character that was me, rather than be someone for whom either made me resent who I am, or brought out traits that made me into someone I didn't like. Let's all hear it for Dennis!

Commissions for Vore Available
Posted 5 years agoAfter uploading a buffet of vore and fat fur artwork, it seems I managed to whet people's appetite. Something to the tune of over 100 new favourites and 20 new watchers came to browse the menu, and I am happy to satiate that hunger.
As such, I am opening commissions for vore or fat fur artwork, starting from £24/€26/$28 per picture (additional fees or discounts may apply). If you wish to place an order or look into a quote, please do not hesitate to ring for service via Telegram (@giovannimagnus) or send me a note.
Thank you and fine dining.

An Autumn Update + Commissions Open!
Posted 6 years agoIt's been a good four months since my last update, so I do believe I am a little overdue.
Anyway, my most recent hiatus has simply been down to work related exhaustion. I have been working myself to the bone during the summer months to get myself to Eurofurence, and I attended, which was absolutely brilliant. I have the photos uploaded onto my One Drive and will be able to make a proper submission of them onto Fur Affinity and all my related channels soon enough.
The work schedule also meant I had very little time for commissions, and even less to upload, and soon they began to pile up, at least until I finally decided enough was enough and made preparations to leave. Simply put, if the workload wasn't burning me out, the boss' negativity certainly was, and he started to become bullying. Found myself a new job pretty quickly, and I will be starting it very soon, one that will not only cover my rent, but give me enough scratch to attend my meets, and do some of the cheaper conventions, and most importantly, will give me the time to do a fair bit of artwork.
Speaking of artwork, I will be updating my commission rates soon and I am open. This year has been something of a learning curve, and ever changing exchange rates mean I will need to adapt my pricing very frequently. For the moment, I will be using GBP for base prices, but soon be changing to EUR as my bases. Please feel free to be in touch if you want a commission.
That should be everything. Have a good one.

Commissions and Photo Update
Posted 6 years agoI have decided to update my brand a little bit, starting with upping my prices to bring them more into line with what is both competitive, but also fair to me, as well as having fixed prices for my products. I have recently uploaded my new price list, as well as a terms of service sheet, so I can set out some ground rules for work.
My price sheet can be found here; https://www.furaffinity.net/view/31453305/
My terms of service can be found here; https://www.furaffinity.net/view/31453320/
Also, since Flickr now requires a fee for usage, which I cannot afford at this time, I have moved my conventions to cloud storage to keep it all together. If you wish to check through my convention albums, you can find them; https://1drv.ms/f/s!AmbeAWUbuSfFyEATfEsmP7ADZPYG
That is everything covered.

Eurofurence Photos and a Fundraiser
Posted 7 years agoSorry I haven't been communicating that much these last few weeks, I've been kind of all over the place with work, conventions, and all that. Here's a couple updates I want to mention.
First of all, I've uploaded all my Eurofurence photos, which you can find here;
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/28566201/
Just follow the links in the description to see all the fursuiting photos. I've decided to invest in watermarking software, so they've all got watermarks. If you would like a specific picture without them, give me a shout and I can sort it out for you.
Anyway, onto the second, and dare I say, more important announcement.
This Saturday (September 8th), I am going to be doing a fundraiser. A few years ago, my Grandad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease, which is an illness that effects one's memory and cognitive function. Whilst still in the early stages, I dread the day he will end up in a similar position to his mother, where she was doing the strangest things, was scared all the time, and was a shadow of her former self.
On the Saturday, I am going to be doing a walk, in fursuit, to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. I'm quite excited to do it, but in order to make it mean something, I need to raise a few pounds with sponsors and donations. If you can spare a bit of money, then please donate kindly via my Just Giving page - it's a cause very dear to me, and I know for a lot of other people, it's a very real thing they've seen their loved ones go through. Even a small amount will be appreciated, and can help towards finding treatment, prevention, or even just aiding someone with it.

Thank you so much.

Work Problems and Depression
Posted 7 years agoI am sorry to have not updated my profile in some considerable time, but I assure you, I have a very good reason.
At the moment, I am currently in between jobs. Luckily, I've been doing work as a subcontractor fitting bathrooms, but the work tires me out and most of my time is occupied thanks to that. I am hoping to find myself a better job in the future.
Also, I have been in a state of depression. I know what you're thinking, what have I to be depressed about? Well, a lot of things. And it has been growing steadily worse, because if I can fulfil one thing, it's usually another thing getting me down, and has stopped me creatively. I have loads of ideas, but just no sense of purpose nor motivation to go on ahead with them. It's affecting my sleep, my appetite, and my performance overall. Thankfully, I will be seeing a professional about it.

At the moment, I am currently in between jobs. Luckily, I've been doing work as a subcontractor fitting bathrooms, but the work tires me out and most of my time is occupied thanks to that. I am hoping to find myself a better job in the future.

A New Year's Message to my fans
Posted 7 years agoHello and Happy New Year to all my watchers, followers, and fans. I have had a bit of a rest after a very busy few months over Christmas, and hope you all similarly are feeling well-refreshed for the New Year.
For my fans on deviant Art, I’d like to thank you for sticking with me after what must have been months of inactivity, and then suddenly a deluge of images. I had slowly fallen into bad habits, and now plan to get back into a more consistent uploading across all my art platforms. I am looking into further expanding my gallery to other art platforms; if you know any that have extensions that can allow for a smooth transfer without having to upload every image individually, I would be very thankful if you could recommend any to me.
Last year’s 100 picture challenge, the Iron Artist, was a particular success, surpassing my initial expectations. Thanks to the commissions of the fans, I raised a significant amount of money, which will help me during this challenging time, whilst I am looking for new work. Hopefully, I should be hearing soon regarding a job I had an interview for some time before Christmas, and it will be good news. This shouldn’t affect my output, and I will still be open for commissions in the meantime.
Speaking of which, I have re-opened commissions, and plan to set some prices. Since each picture from the Iron Artist raised an average of £7.50, I think that would be an excellent base value to work with. Here is what I have planned out;
• Standard face badges, just ones featuring your character’s face, will start from £6/€7/$8. For additional features such as the double sided skull, shadow, or perhaps your character eating some food, it will cost an extra £2/€3/$3
• The simple full character badges, such as the gaming character badges and Pokemon Trainer badges, will start from £8/€9/$11. Additional Pokemon will cost an extra £1/€1/$1, unless they are very simple Pokemon, or from the same evolution line.
• The complex character badges, such as the pirate themed badges, which include the skeleton of your character, or the new Overwatch badges, will start from £10/€11/$14. Additional features, such as non-standard skins for the Overwatch badges, will be an extra £3/€4/$4
• Full body commissions, including a simple background and full shading, will start from £12/€14/$16. This does cover suggestive imagery, such as tasteful nudity, but not adult material. Additional characters cost and extra £6/€7/$8.
• Adult images, including background and full shading, will start from £15/€17/$20. Additional characters cost £7/€8/$9. These may not be available for customers of deviant Art due to their upload policy regarding sexual imagery.
• Reference sheets will be open to negotiation, based upon the imagery and poses.
*I know these prices are not exactly perfect conversions, since the rates vary continuously, and take conversion fees into account, since my native currency is GBP, hence why fees have been rounded up or down.*
Last year saw perhaps my most prolific year in sheer output since 2014, when I had the “By Lantern’s Light” project, and hopefully I plan to continue producing art. If you are interested in a commission, please do not hesitate to send me a message via this website, or reach out to my other contacts.

I am also considering setting up a Patreon page, so any advice for doing that would be most welcome, since I love drawing, and I would endeavour to reach more people who would like to see it.
Anyway, once again, Happy New Year!

Iron Artist Final Update
Posted 7 years agoWell, the Iron Artist is complete, and I would like to thank everyone who commissioned me, I couldn't have done it without you. It's been a very busy three months.
Anyway, I took the money I had made from commissions during this time and put into a tin that I bought at the beginning of the 100 days, and cracked it open this morning. Inside was...
£748.13
A tremendous amount of money, which will help me get to a number of conventions next year.
Thank you so much.

Fell behind quite a large amount, due to working with my Dad. I'll be trying to set everything straight before we wrap up next week.

Well, I've been doing some extra work during the day, which has meant I haven't been able to do as many pictures, but commissions appear to be slowing down somewhat.
Anyway, the goal is within reach, all I need are just some more commissions, and I have a lot on offer. If you want to commission me, do not hesitate to ask, because it helps me reach my goal sooner.

We're almost there! Just another couple dozen to go. Please keep your commissions coming, particularly this weekend, so I can stockpile up, since next week is going to be very busy!

Well, I didn't get the job I had worked so hard to try and get.
EDIT: Turns out the interview I had yesterday wasn't the job I thought it was. Turns it out was for a job in the same building, with the same job title, but was a completely different job. I had an email come in this morning inviting me to an interview for the job I did want, it just had near identical details to the one I went to yesterday, and I got the two mixed up.

Back on track again itself, plus, I have gotten myself an interview for a job working in a medical laboratory testing genetic samples. If I get it, it will most definitely mean I will have my foot in the door for a career I always wanted, and will probably see a diminished output, due to work.
Also, I should mention that two of my Iron Artist are not going to uploaded to my gallery just yet, since both are gifts for people, and they'd like to keep them a surprise. You'll see them later.
Anyway, I've tried a new style of badge, the Star Wars themed badge, just to see how well they work out. Suffice to say, I think I've gotten the lighting effects sorted, so expect to see some more of those in the coming days.
Please keep your commissions coming in.

Well, last weekend went absolutely tits up. Work fucked up my paycheck, and I went in to have it sorted, only to have my manager accuse me of being a liar, even with the evidence right in front of them that I hadn't been paid the correct amount, and she kept weaselling her way out of showing she got it wrong, again. I decided at that point to walk out, and resigned. Seriously, though, she'd been fucking up royal for months, and I had finally had enough.
So now I am looking for new work in between doing pictures for the Iron Artist. Hence why I haven't managed to close that gap as of yet, though I may just label any artwork I get done as being Iron Artist, since it is still art.
Anyway, please keep your commissions coming in, as I will be needing them now more than ever, and thank you for all your support thus far.
