My last thoughts about situation
Posted a month agoYou know what else I can't understand about this whole situation? I can't understand how a person can do such things in their own community. This is not some random guy from the side thinking "lol I'll sell slop shit to these stupid furries". No, this is a person who IS in the community. They go to conventions. They take pictures and laugh with other people. They make friends and give them gifts (the same slop in the form of tracing and AI). And at the same time, they are absolutely okay with the fact that they lie to all these people and do not see anything wrong with it.
I'm not a furry myself, but I had and have many friends and customers from this community. And they have always been very supportive, kind, polite and tactful people. They are one of the few remaining (!) groups that still support artists and don't chase AI shit. And having all this, this colossal support, community, artists from the community next to you… you choose to deceive them. And continue to blatantly lie even when you are caught red-handed.
Imagine, you meet someone at con, they give you a portrait of your character and you're like "wow, thank you!!" and then you find out that it's a lazy tracing of someone else's art or even better - a picture using the technology that left you and thousands of your colleagues without work and income 💀
Sorry for this wall of text, there's just too many things that make me angry or desperate in the last few years. And I can't even talk about it, only post pictures and keep quiet most of the time. Art is one of the few things I have left, but even that gets ripped off over and over again. And all these people don't even have the shreds of shame or conscience to apologize. Or even realize in their heads that they're not the good guys in this story.
Ugh. Thanks to everyone for your support. It means a lot.
And thanks to everyone who recommended The Ranch of Rivershine to me, at least I can go pet some cute horses in the evening after work. (◞‸◟)

You know, I've dealt with tracing and stealing of my art a lot in recent years. I usually deal with it privately and just move on. But THIS... this is a whole new level of arrogance and lies for me. I literally expected any explanation, justification and apology, but not this.

This also made me furious because we have A TON of young artists who REALLY struggles because of AI shit and this one, who LITERALLY use AI, play a victim.
I thought my last post would be the end of this story, but this double down just completely pissed me off. Just in case, I'll remind you that no, this is not a minor, not a schoolkid, this is an adult who did all this and took money for this "art".

38 traced artworks [update]

I got an update from support and they said they took all possible measures! My traced artworks were deleted and the account now has a "!" mark - according to different sources, this is either a blocked or suspended account (if anyone knows for sure, please let me know)! Honestly, last night I jumped to conclusions and thought that the pics were deleted but the account remained and continued to work. Not long before that, I saw info that a month ago this account had already been reported for AI tracing but nothing changed due to "insufficient evidence".
In any case, I will be very happy if the activities of this scammer are really suspended and maybe some people will even get their money back. Thank you all for your support, spreading information and kind words! Now was a very bad time for all this and I am tired and angry that this situation took so much time and emotions from me. Although until I had to look closely at each tracing, it was rather funny to me. But then the emotions accumulated like a snowball.

According to the rules of the site I can't make a callout, but I contacted support and sincerely hope that it will work. I feel disgusting (also for the people who gave this person money).

Design Commission - price per design is $400, please read specific ToS (DESIGN COMMISSION tab) about this type of commission! If you don't want a new design and instead want to redesign your character, create an outfit for your character or fullbody picture with your character - this is discussed individually (the price is also $400 or more, depending on the volume of work). Only anthro/feral designs! (Humans are okay for fullbody commission)
Card Commission - price per card is $320, here is my usual ToS! This time I want to experiment a bit with the cards and try a slightly different way of lining and rendering, maybe add more details etc. Unfortunately I don't have any exact examples yet, but I've attached a few other illustrations to better describe what I mean! You can choose between full colored card and limited colors card (black, white + 1-2 additional color). Anthro, feral and human characters!
If you are interested, please contact me via DMs - with info what type of commission do you want!

About fanarts
Posted a year agoI started getting more and more questions and that's why I decided to make this post. TLDR: please don't draw fanarts of our characters. I'll explain why below.
In the past, like many artists, I was very happy when I received fanart. Like, REALLY. Unfortunately, that changed after a few cases where some people started to cross the line and blatantly violate our boundaries. Things like NSFW, ships with other characters, attempts to make copies. All of this affected my burnout and deprived me of the desire to share anything at all.
Of course I'm not saying that everyone who draws fanart will do this, no! But every time I see fanart, I can't help but remember all those cases and it makes me nervous. Every time I worry that it will start to happen again. I've received a lot of DMs asking about fanart and when I explain my situation, almost everyone answers me "oh, I understand, I had something similar and that's why I always ask first". So our case is not unique (and honestly, it's very sad). If you ever drew me fanart and now think "I didn't know, now I regret it" - please don't! I'm still very grateful to you for taking the time to make me happy and I really, really appreciate it.
I enjoy sharing my drawings, comics and character stories with you. I am truly pleased that they resonate with many. So if you want to make me happy - just like, comment, reblog my artwork. It always motivates to continue and share more. Maybe over time our view on fanart will change, but for now this is how things are. Thank you very much for understanding. 💛

- When you take a slot, you bring me 2-3 aesthetic theme pics you like or your Pinterest board. Only photos, not arts! It can be animals, plants, landscapes, ceramics, textiles and etc. (It can be more than 3 pics, just don't send me too many!)
- Give me few words about future design! Something like "I want black unicorn knight" or "Fox bard with two tails". Also you can say something like "I want warrior wolf" and rely on artistic freedom fully, if you trust me!
- After payment I will start working on your commission and I will finish it in 2-3 months
- Additional items (staff, weapons, pets, etc.) are charged extra!
- Please consider that I'm not redrawing an existing character, but creating a new one!
Only anthro and ferals, fantasy/medieval/ethnic themes. I don't draw aliens/sci-fi/military.
IMPORTANT! This type of commissions doesn't imply edits, you get the finished picture! You can invent any story for the character and do anything with it, also make changes in designs in future pictures (not in my illustration!). The only rule: you can't say that design was created by you and you can't use it for any commercial purposes.

Maybe some specific kind of art, more sketches/concepts or activities like monthly fanart? Also, I've been wanting to add new types of rewards for the Guardian Tier ($150) for a long time - at the moment I am considering adding color portraits when I do a couple of examples. But maybe you have specific ideas!
