Taking Precautions.
Posted 3 weeks agoThere has been a rise of scammers here impersonating artists on telegram and discord. And it looks like I've been hit with one and lost the money. So from here on out, if I am to buy commissions or YCHs, it will have to be FA Notes directly to and from the artists. If communication will be through telegram, discord or email, I will send you a pass code through FA notes to ensure you are authentic.
I know there are some that prefers no notes, but I would like if ya'll would make an exception for the time being. To those I know closely, you're fine for it would probably be easy to spot.

Seeking room for FWA
Posted 6 months agoNow that FA is back on... Very long shot since it's next week , but I am seeking a room space for at least three nights (Thurs, fri, sat). Only there to shower and sleep. I am local but it would be very helpful that I won't having to keep driving back and forth in such awful ATL traffic. If you or know anyone who is looking for one more, ring me up.
Otherwise, you all safe travels and see ya there.

FWA 2025
Posted 6 months agoAfter two years of going only one day post COVID pandemic, I have manage to secure time off to have almost an entire weekend. But i will be there Thursday evening through Sunday evening. Only thing I need now is a place to shower and sleep. I am local but I'd prefer to stay at least three nights before heading home Sunday instead of driving back and forth. So if any (hopefully mutuals) got a spot for me, note me.
No AA table since I didn't get picked unless otherwise, so if I don't get a spot, I'll just be browsing about. After all, I made too many WIPs that are not complete and I am more slow than ever when I keep seeing glaring flaws on it that I felt ain't worthy of sharing. But. I'm still trying....
It's been real rough with me since things are moving again and so many turn of events (even at its worst in this climate we have right now).
I got a feeling it's gonna be quite lonely for me since last year's fiasco has prompted even most of my friends to not come back again. I fully understand especially having the AA in such a shitty place in the halls near panel ball rooms that is cramped when people line up or leave. Not to mention having alot less seats then. But still, I hope to see someone there or at least good new faces. You all be safe coming in. Especially some from out of state IF you are coming.

Midwest Fur Fest!
Posted 2 years agoLooks like I am going after all! A good soul got a spot for me and I will see ya folks there from Thursdays to Mondays.
I probably be treating this as a vacation than my usual Artist Alley works since i got nothing new to present. But i am up for trades for any artist(s) who are up for it. I miss furry friends, the art, the atmosphere and the wintery Chicago. I need to get my vibes back now that most places are up and running again.

Terminating Twitter and Going Blue
Posted 2 years agoAfter seven years of being on there of Wrfing, I decided to close it up due to a wide variety of reasons be it AI BS and becoming Musker's personal 8chan site.
A pity really after following wonderful artists, liking and retweeting their works. I hope they follow suit before the dead bird reeks even worse from underneath the "eX" it was crushed by. Hate to leave it but I hate how it became.
I am now in Bluesky but only as a lurker for now until things are smoothed out. Once I'm fully familiar with it and comfortable, I will be posting stuff.

Help The Hoss Gideon
Posted 2 years agoHeya!
Our big horsey boy
got himself into an accident that broke his arm just before the weekend of FWA. Forcing him to cancel his appearance and have surgery done. Now he is stuck with a very large medical bill at a price of a car because.. y'know, 'murca's health care. So if you can, give and/or spread the word from the link below. Anything helps for our favorite hoss!

FWA / Life After Spooky / HDD Failure / Dual Monitor Issu...
Posted 2 years agoHeya folks. It is that time again for Furry Weekend Atlanta. I will be returning to it again.
Unfortunately it is going to be one day again this year due to finances as well as technical difficulty which I will explain in abit. I will be there all saturday so come say hi. And no, no Artist Alley Table again this year since I havent made anything new or finalized it to make a new portfolio since my older stuff is meh now. But at least being there is better than missing out. I look forward in meeting my friends again and maybe make new ones at FWA.
With that said, a couple of hold backs was the passing of my kitty Spooky. I wanna thank those that expressed their condolences for my loss. I'm doing okay. I still miss him and everything I use to do. Binx is doing fine. He has changed abit when he realized Spooky was not coming home. He's more closer to me like getting on my bed when I do after work or in the morning (waiting for me to give him breakfast or brunch). Meow meow meowing, getting on my lap and being a butthead at times. I'm savoring every moment with him as much as possible. And he and I are doing very good so far. Meow meowing at me as I'm typing this despite he has his dinner to finish.
Another is on the first friday of March, my PC died from HDD failure. After many fights with it trying to work, I only manage to do enough to save alot of my pictures, arts, musics, etc other than the software stuff that I know I will be redownloading/reinstalling. After many failed attempts to get the HDD to work again, I retort to plan F which was to buy another drive and start over. Got a nifty SSD that everyone is recommending and I like it's instant boot up. Only hope it stays that way for a while longer. I got the softwares back. Only one issue I have now is the dual monitor system that is not working. Despite when two monitor plugs are in, only one works. I have an NVDIA RTX 960. I'm hating that I got more questions or irrelevant answers than actual answers. If anyone experienced this before and knows how to fix it, let me know. It's gonna be a long bit before I upgrade or build myself a new PC machine since it is 10 years old. I got Win11 but unable to use it due to not having a compatible processor. The one it wants would also require a new motherboard to be compatible for that such doohickey, which hints me I'm probably better off building a new thing from scratch again. We'll see.
With that said, those were the things that really chopped my FWA weekend by 2.5 days. Though I now need to look into MFF again since I got the days off. Now to find a place a sleep, a badge, and other things and I will be set for the con by christmas. Hopefully by then I might have a few new stuff.
In the meantime, those who are traveling to FWA, Safe trip!
PS, I know I would usually list my metal picks but I dont feel like it right now. I'll just spin ya just one for their name wishes it would be frosty for I hate hot and humid seasons.

My Letter to Spooky
Posted 2 years agoHi Spooky.
I want to say, Thank you for the 13+ years we had together. You were a silent fella which was the opposite of my previously noisy kitty Johnathan, but you still spoke to me in many ways you could. A nuzzle, a purr, a sniff, a spraying sneeze, a bap, a scratch, a bite, a hiss and rare occasions, half a meow that sounded more like “ah.” At times you were lovely and friendly, other times you are a meanie and a butthead. But I still loved you in many ways a cat dad could. I fought for you a lot. Ensuring you stay as family, through inconveniences that got on my family's nerves, through your broken leg (twice) and hobblin' after, through sickness, and so on. We always win at the end. I am sadden that we could not win against time that was taking a toll on your health. I wanted to continue to fight for you in hope this is just a bump that would come to pass and you would recover again. But you, from what the doctor told me, made the decision for me to give up the fight when they brought you out to see me. That was mean of you, but it seems you knew what's better for the both of us and understood it wasnt worth it anymore especially for your age. Renal Kidney failure is a real a-hole. I just wished you held longer and gave me one more thing before you went. But, having you with me is better than never.
I will miss your jingling bell of your blue collar which now hangs above my bed. I will miss your late night food cronchings in my room. I will miss your “stop that” bites when I bug ya with tickles or pet ya wrong. I will miss your heavy butt when I picked you up to snug and kiss ya. I will miss coming home from work to lay on the bed with my one hand outstretched and you climbing up and then look at me funny before moving to sniff my hand and smidge and nuzzle it to get me to pet and scritch ya. I will miss that part but also me laying on the floor instead of the bed with my hand outstretched for you to do the same. And after that, doing the “that's enough” bites. I will miss you laying on your back one hind paw up keeping your butt and harbles warm at the space heater I turn on every cold season. I will miss that but in rooms with sun shining through the windows. I will miss placing my face on your fat floof. I will miss giving you raspberries on your fatty fat fat belly and the back of your ears. I will miss rubbing, tickling, and scritching it. I will miss ya following me whenever I open the can of wet foods every evening. I will miss ya come and stare at me for every time I have chicken whether home cooked or from places like Popeye's. I will also miss spoiling your butt with that chicken by giving you pieces. Wished I continue doing so had I known you're going to rest. Of course, Nana often did that in secret. I will miss ya loafing on things like my luggage before and after Dragon Con and other trips. I will miss ya climbing up on the couch in my room whenever I watch movies. I also really do miss ya on my desk and lap when you had four legs. I will miss you spending time with Binx and give him groomings and nap near him before Binx becomes a butthead and bites and baps you to stop that. I will miss you make Binx move from your suppose napping spot. I will miss your grumpy stubborness which basically earns you more scruffies and kisses. Because I know in the end, I will miss your loves you still give me in return.
Sleep well, my sweet demon. You deserved it. Binx will be okay and I will continue givng my love for him and to fight for him like I did with you. Your previous owner did not give you love and care, which is a terrible thing that person did. I am happy my Dad has saved you and later my brother brought you in and into my life. Giving you another chance to live and experience love, and sometimes to spoil ya. I may not have done my best as I feel I didnt, but I learn on the way to do even better for you and those after you like Binx and possibly any future feline family member. And I will keep at it!
I will see you soon when my time comes. Say hello to Johnathan for me.
I Love You, my son Spooky. My Spooky Butt, my Spooky Cat.
Love, your Cat Dad.

Spooky Sanchez2008 - 2023Return of FWA and Furry Cons of '22
Posted 3 years agoI got ALOT of things that has occurred in my life. But I'm kind of drained of going over it for now since as of three weeks ago, realized FWA is happening physically.
Good news is I am going. Bad news is I'm just attending due to being told Artist Alley seats were lotto'd. Regardless, I am way under prepared that I got nothing to deliver. Another thing is it's going to be only Saturday due to work. I can take time off but only one person can claim the day. No more than one person unless like the other is out sick or in an emergency. And Friday has been claimed already.
And speaking of off days, my other two, Anthrocon and Midwest FurFest is a no go for this year. Anthrocon being on a 4th of July weekend, one person already claimed time off before that weekend. MFF as well because I finally was able to grab christmas week off for I've always wanted to take that for years since starting my new job in 2016. I didnt think it was going to happen until they announced it. Oops. Ah well, now to just gotta figure out what do for christmas. With that, I can't take more days off on the same month. Sucks. However, it is giving me ideas that I can attend other furry cons across the state to help make up the loss main ones like Texas Furry Fiesta or Further Confusion. I will have a look in see come 2023 since my work has encouraged me to take time off when possible due to having so much built up but no place to go during this Pandemic.
Got alot to tell for myself. But I will post about it later. For now, it's May. Draw some hot moms for this month. And if you are going to FWA, come say hi to me! We could doodle together or something. I'll stick around as long as possible! See ya there! And yes, I will be masked.

2020 Really got Ugly..
Posted 5 years agoA year where we hope would certainly improve things instead decided to shat its pants. With a nearly wind caress that almost would have become WWIII which fortunately calmed down we are now in a suppose once in a century Pandemic thanks to a big fuck up from the Chinese Gov and from the Child and Chief. As a result, it looks like the world is coming to a stand still in hopes that we will contain and stop the spread of COVID19, that is if the humes are willing to work together on this. Although we have to prepare for another possible spike of the spreading infection despite fading out in the summer, like the influenza in 1918 where it went away in the summer but came back with a vengeance in autumn.
CDC had warn that things are about to change when it comes to taking steps in trying to stop the spreading. My family and I were suppose to be on a cruise trip but we received an email from Carnival Cruise that all sailing schedules are suspended from Mar. 13th through April 10th. We were to set sail on April 6th. he good news is since it was a rather unfortunate turn of events with Carnival, they are compensating us to either have it reschedule anytime we wish or request a full refund. All 100% for one of two options. We tried rescheduling for June, but we cannot get all 27 heads on board due to scheduling conflicts with our work and all. So we will be trying again next year.
Another thing: Concerts. I'm not happy that I had two of my concerts I looked forward for in ATL are both postponed. I was looking forward in seeing Possessed on April 2nd, but it's postponed (no reschedule date yet), and Rotting Christ for Devastation in the Nation tour was another. While it was gonna be during my cruise trip, I thought I treat myself to a show since the cruise was cancelled. Unfortunately, being that with three of the four bands from Europe, a 30 day travel ban for Europeans (two days later, UK) was put into place. Although later it wouldnt matter since major cities are putting a halt to large gatherings and early closures of venues and pubs. However, Devastation is rescheduled for next year, hopefully at that time when its over. I had thoughts for Maryland Death Fest, but I aint holding my breath on that. Even if the organizer on facebook refusing to say the C-word, consider that would hurt him badly, his post still reads like he was sweating bullets that an inevitable might happen if the State of Maryland has a say if the epidemic isnt in control. But he's still saying it's going as planned... for now.
And lastly: Conventions. Big one for me. A week ago, Furry Weekend Atlanta posted on twitter that it was cancelled for this year. I was honestly foolish thinking that they will still go as planned when I thought it will calm down sooner. But from the looks of the cases happening, that's out of the question. FWA would have been my 13th year, and it's gonna feel depressing and odd going this year without FWA, for it is my home since I first went to it in 2006 on a Saturday, and a year later a full weekend. And looks like my plans to finally go to Momocon again is also out the window since they announced they cancelled, though no word if it is for the year or scheduling since the post of theirs sounded uncertain. Anthrocon is watching closely at it, I, however, am not certain that would happen this year. This is just my thought, not Anthrocon's, but brace yourself if again, the inevitable happens. Especially consider other conventions and events like E3 had to cancel. Which now leaves me to Midwest FurFest. Hopefully things are calm down by then and not another spike like the Influenza in 1918. No word of it yet since it is too soon to tell. Lastly, Dragon Con. Only word I got is they are monitoring the situation, and given it is on Labour Day Weekend, it is too soon to tell. But I really really really hope things would be back to normal in time for it. Otherwise I'm in for a disappointing year.
As for myself, I'm still good so far. Though with 485 cases in GA as of this writing, I read now we got 3 cases in the county I live in. And whatever happens, especially if a lock down were to occur, I would pretty much be out in the field working consider I am a utility worker. Not the case with some of my friends, four I know works in a pub that is now closed for who knows how long. So far, only thing I'm hoarding up is movies and Guinness beers.
Regardless what happens, if you were going to do stuff but it is cancelled, do something to help out. This Pandemic is REALLY gonna hurt people financially. South by Southwest that was cancelled for the first time in 34 years, you're looking at tens of millions of dollars lost. So the furry cons that you wanted to go to but had to cancel? Do yourself a favor and donate to them. Be it $5, or $50 of an average full weekend pass price, or $500. Support the artists and merchants who were gonna be there as well. Concert shows postponed or cancelled? Go buy their merch and record or downloads. Especially from bandcamp since they announced they are waiving sales fees so the musicians can get money! Also check your favorite bar, pub, venue that is closed and are asking for donations from their gofundme pages and give. Help out so they will stay afloat. Also, help those who are vulnerable to the viruses (elders or folks with health and/or immunity issues) and do some shopping for them. If you are shopping for yourself, be courteous and only get the amount what you need regardless there is a sign or not telling you only a certain amount of items is allowed to be taken, so don't be a greedy bastard. There is plenty of other edibles you can grab if you can't find the other ones you are seeking. In my shopping experience, some is empty, but majority of the edibles are still well stocked. And my check out wasnt too bad. Lastly, help folks look for jobs since we're looking at mass lay offs and potentially businesses that may not open again.
And on the final note, keep healthy. Stay six feet from folks as possible (think about Joey Ramone's height, or the length of your lightsaber with your arm), avoid large gatherings as possible, have hand sanitizers. Leave masks for medical professions, elders, folks with health or immunity issues, or those who are infected. Try your best to avoid touching your face whether you got to rub your eyes or pick your nose. If you are sick, stay at home. Remember to check the symptoms just in case. And lastly, WASH YOUR DAMN HANDS! Even after the pandemic is over, hand washing is not just for special occasions.
Also, keep track of your state's status of cases where ever you are. Follow the CDC's website and keep your eyes and ears open from Specialists, as in individuals who have actual expertise in health and disease research and not from idiotic and anti-science politicians. Also, beware of misinformation and ignorant rubbish while you're at it. They will be update it often.
https://www.cdc.gov/

https://www.flayrah.com/7977/covid-.....lays-worldwide
Hopefully we learn all this on what to do and what not to do and put it in The Hitchhiker's Guild to Pandemics. In other words, be aware but "DON'T PANIC." Until then, you folks stay safe and stay healthy. I would give hugs and kisses, but instead, this won't be the time for it. So Vulcan Salute to you. Long Live and Prosper. Let's have a cup of tea or a pint of Guinness and wait for the whole thing to blow over. See ya somewhere late 2020 or in 2021! And now, here's a theme song for this year.

Bored of this place. Off to MFF
Posted 6 years agoWelp. MFF really snuck up on me really quick. I really hate the pre-con jitters that I always keep getting. Feeling like I'm missing something or doesnt have everything as I thought I have, and worst of all I am at the worst peak of an art block. I hope this con could help me. I'll try to be in AA this year, but Friday and Saturday only. Get some milf titty art from me. Or bara furries on human women, or whatever. I wanna draw porn and be inspired again. See you guys there!

Back Online / Attention Folks with Huion with Win10
Posted 6 years agoBack from the dead! I am back now with the new working HDD with the Win10 software this time.
During my process, I plugged in my old HDD in hopes while it is supposedly dead, it was picked up. So I manage to go in and saved majority of my stuff and put into the new drive. I think I might still have some drives to install, I manage to reinstall my tablet, clip studio, net connection etc. So still some work to go.
With that, if anyone here who owns a Huion tablet, especially a Kamvas Pro 22 and have Win10 software, I'm having calibration issues.
For each time my pen goes on the tablet, the cursor immediately goes to the top left corner tablet and stays there no matter where the pen goes. I've tried the huion option but that didnt work or I cant find it. And Google gives more questions or something irrelevant than answers relating to the question, something about uninstalling a certain Win10 update but doesnt specified what update name. So if anyone who experienced this before and fixed it, how did you do it?
Anywho, good to be back. Surely would like to go back to digital drawing again if the tablet wasnt an issue. And in other words, another Dragon Con year in the books. My 14th attendance. While it was the same like most times I went, I still had a blast!

Possible HDD Failure / Dragon Con 2019
Posted 6 years agoI have been offline since the 13th. Now at times i would be back on but then things would freeze up and not respond to a point where it does not recover and require a reset. As of now, my BIOS is not detecting my main HDD, only my spare one. I fear for the worst that it's dead unless I can bring it back to life if I can figure out how. I hope it isnt because all of the four years of materials.... Gone. Gods help me if this is true. The upside is that when the PC did work, i manage to put my artworks and collected commissions in my thumb drive. Though i wished i saved the rest of the materials. I will have to see when I head over to the shop to get a new HDD and use that to put Win10 in it due to the fact the tech support for Win7 will expire Jan. 2020.
But in this case, I will have to worry about it after Dragon Con which is now less than a week away. Maybe the fun will help me forget about my PC woes as I drink and boogey. It's gonna rule like always.
Till then, see ya when I come back on when things are repaired.

Anthrocon 2019
Posted 6 years agoApparently I am a dumb dumb for not posting my announcements for my Anthrocon trip. Well, this year, my 11th attendance, will be different.
This year Im just taking a vacation and not partake in the Artist Alley.
The tax form permit thing which Im unfamiliar with, the backlog of commissions I REALLY need to do, and Im putting too much stress on myself of producing new material before the next con. I need more than a small few to put in my portfolio, so this is breaktime with me and be able to freely browse abd relax like I last did in 2009 before i began selling in 2010.
So for those who are there, you know how to find me. Certainly come say hi and such! I will be with the usual motley crüe of artists. I will still draw, just titties for myself.

Furry Weekend Atlanta 2019
Posted 6 years ago Here we go, my 13th attendance to FWA shall commence this weekend. Only then like last year due to work, I will be arriving alittle later friday after my half day at work, though I will be there thursday enjoying the line ride to pick up my pass. I don't have a place to sleep this year because work has really weighed me down I forgotten to ask.
So unless someone is willing to help, I will be instead driving to and from the con (Gods help me with GA traffic).
So, with that, catch me at the artist alley! I hope to see some of you there. Get some boobies stuff from me!

No MFF because.....
Posted 7 years agoWhile last year I had a great time going to MFF, this year I wont be able to.
For one, it's because having two dental appointments of getting my fillings refilled due to receding cavities is what set me back financially.
For the other, I also got this: The Huion Kamvas Pro 22 V2. Thanks to
and
for helping out by donating. It's really nice, no heat coming from it and I do love the shortcut buttons on it. Though I do miss having an eraser end on the pen like my Wacom Bamboo had. I'm trying to get familiar with Clipstudio and its other quirks until I know what I'm nailing down, and once I managed that, it's possible that I will be back to streaming that I have been absent from for four years. Until then, I will be missing my good friends who will be at MFF. So it's just at-home con for me. Hope you guys have fun!

Anthrocon for the 10th Year
Posted 7 years agoThis weekend, I will be returning to Pittsburgh for AC. This will be my tenth year of attendance. Amazing how I was an attendance in the first two years and later became an artist selling commish from 2010 and up. Things have changed over the last ten years of my visit, good and bad. As obvious, I will be in the Artist Alley. Though honestly I'm not sure if I'm gonna sit for AA on a sunday, for I would like to go check out The Monroeville Mall that is about 20mins from the event. The place where the original Dawn of the Dead was filmed at. We'll see what the mood is. Until then, I look forward in drawing some boobies and hopefully some monsters since it's AC's theme. If any of ya want some monsters and boobies, hit me up! I want to draw boobies, monsters, and monsters with boobies! See you guys there!

Maryland Death Fest & Anthrocon result.
Posted 8 years agoAlrighty, I think I am well rested and recover enough a month later and finally getting around to typing this, but I had an absolute blast at MDF. I was staying at my cousin's for the weekend, big thanks to her for letting me stay with her. I really enjoyed playing with her five little kittens she is fostering. :3 I will certainly miss them.
First, let's get the bad out of the way:
I had a couple of bad luck on the sunday, in which I accidentally left the phone in an uber. I had to hike back to the duplex where my cousin is staying and have her call back the the uber driver. I waited about two hours until he came back with the phone.
Second was a couple of bands that had to cancel. Night Bringer had to drop because of flight troubles and they wont make it in time to play, and War Master cancelled without explanation. Sucks, I was really looking forward to seeing them. Night Bringer, however, was replaced with, surprisingly, Angelcorpse. That helped make it up alot.
Third was the soundstage venue. I had a ticket originally for sunday because of War Master. But they cancelled, still I wanted to have a look at the other bands that was playing. Unfortunately, they do not allow bullet belts. Which is weird because they did when I went to MDF four years ago when I bought a ticket for the one day just to see Tragedy. I guess some dick weed decided to ruin the fun or the sudden change of rules just to be assholes.
Lastly, there were not many vendors like there was four years ago. While there was booths selling official and bootleg shirts, there was some record labels like Relapse, Dark Descent and Sevare. Also Indiemerch was there.
Alright, bad out of the way, on with the good.
Bands I saw:
Torture Rack, Skeletal Remains, Morbid Saint, Sargiest, GosT (I'll explain in abit), Macabre, Vader, Autopsy, Father Befouled, Embalmer, Necropsy, Usurper, Exhumed, Exumer, Root, Grave, Morbid Angel, Angelcorpse, Acheron, Behexen, Ackercoke, and Candlemass.
GosT. Yes, the actual 80s synth musician was playing at a Metal Festival. It was VERY Bizarre, BUT the audience actually had a blast and still moshed about. For me, I was very familiar with the environment thanks to Dragon Con. So they he was great!
Torture Rack were the best openers. Morbid Saint was very good, the new lead singer wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. Exumer was great, good to see another 80s thrash. With Angelcorpse on board, they were fantastic! Grave was awesome, just like I remembered when they played in atlanta 11 years ago. Sweet to see Macabre, with special guests: The Zodiac, Albert Fish, and Ed Gein! Behexen and Sargeist was a great dose of Black Metal. Now, Morbid Angel killed it, even if they sang songs only from Formulas through Heretic (I like Gateways to Annihilation). Acheron ruled, doing their Antigod, Antichrist set. Exhumed nearly killed me, they were sweet to see for the third time. This time with my buddy Slimebag jamming with them! And now, Top Winner: Vader. They slay the entire weekend even if they only played on Friday before Autopsy. Sucks they played again on a monday in atlanta when I came home. As much as I would love to see them twice, I was on fumes with energy... so next time.
As I am typing, I dont know if I will go next year. But it looks like I must since Coven, the 1960s Satanic Rock is listed for next year! YES!
Alrighty, with that aside...
Yes, I am going to Anthrocon. I will be flying out first thing in the morning. I will be at Artist Alley, but it looks like I may have to fight someone in the Thunder Dome for a Friday seating since I wasnt listed. But I am seated for Sats and Suns. The group I will be with is
to perster
and many others who will come hang with us. Now, I'm gonna stop here and do my last minute panic before bed time for my flight tomorrow morning. Follow me on twitter at Jagerwrfs to follow my Anthrocon adventure!

Thirty
Posted 8 years agoAnd now, child's play is officially over.
Thirty years of being another speck onto this pale blue dot. Not the sharpest tool in the shed, but certainly a little better compare to some of the others.
I don't know how to feel about it. No, I don't think I'm a grey muzzle now. Not yet, maybe I'll leave that when I turn forty. Until then, Let's see how another ten years holds up. Also, I've been on FA for ten years and two months, I almost forgot about that. This site surely changed alot and I learned alot from it's ups and downs (the site, the artists, the viewers, etc).
Also, next weekend I will be heading to Baltimore for Maryland Death Fest XV as a treat to myself for turning thirty. I missed alot of concerts at times when I was on-call, including HammerFall that's playing tonight on this day of my last on-call night. Ah well, I hope they come around again. Plus, MDF is playing better bands anyway like Behexen and Vader. You can catch me wrfing the event on my twitter account at Jagerwrfs.
Till then, Happy Birthday to me.

Eleven Years of Furry Weekend ATL
Posted 8 years agoFirst off, got me a place to sleep, so I'm good to go! Thanks everyone!
Once upon a time, in 2005, I found a flyer for FWA while attending a single day Anime Weekend ATL (remember the good relax times? Also how easy it was to buy porn?).
Anyway, I wanted to go to it. But it would require parental help. Mum was repulsed because of what she saw on TV, so I went to my Dad, but persuading him to have me pretend I'm 18 since I was three months away from turning 18 didn't work either (so much for him when he use to sneak in Casinos when he lived his high school years in Boulder City). So I missed it.
2006, the time came. This was back when I was Black Tie in a normal wolf fursona, wearing a dress shirt and tie with black pants. I didnt have a job then and only had house allowance to afford a one day attendance. It was on a rainy Saturday of February. With me and Draco. It was a heck of a drive, and annoying that we got lost in a sketchy area. Only to realize that instead of the address to the Holiday Inn ATL-INTER Airport was actually the address to the fella who made the FWA website, my stepdad helped out by phone and we manage to find it. Entering inside, the atmosphere was REALLY strange honestly. First time I have seen fursuits that are not rented costumes from party stores, some dressed more odd and while there were excellent people there, there were some that was REALLY awkward and bizarre. Of course, I was the weird one myself, but certainly not that kind.
But out of the weirdness, I was bewildered seeing the artists in person behind the artworks I have seen on VCL.

Then a couple of original art works from Nodachi (where is he?), some prints, and lastly some CD portfolios. We stuck around the fun until 10pm since I didnt have any money. But one day was better than not going at all, so I had a great time none of the less. And it was definitely a go for me the next year.A year later, 2007 would be the year I would attend this furry con in one full weekend. With Draco again, and I was gonna have Gambling Dragon, but he sadly died a month before the con. It really sucks because he was definitely up for it. But the con was fun none of the less, I got commissions and badges along with comics. Made some great friends and later on it hooked me up to here. Of course, I had to wait until they open the registration thanks to trolls having nothing to do and having FA close it.
And here we are, my eleventh year at FWA and it surely has changed alot and grew. And now to see how it looks this weekend. I will be there thursday after my work shift and leaving sunday night. So stop by at my table at Artist Alley. Check me on the wrf at JagerWrfs. I already got the weekend jitters, but I look forward to drawing and meeting my friends again! Till then, I will see you guys this weekend!
