Posted 9 years agoThis is probably going to be a lot more information than anyone needs, so I'll try to highlight/tl;dr the important things so no one has to read all of it.
If anyone is just genuinely curious about my activity, I'm sorry. I've been stressed out; I know I have a fairly simple job with fairly short shifts (usually under 8 hrs)
but this is my first job and it's a huge strain on me mentally and physically. I've just been feeling it worse than usual;
right now I'm so sore I can barely stand long enough to shower, my hands are shaking I keep having to fix typos.
Blegh. My house is a mess and pretty much reflects my life right now, it's chaos and it's making me worse, but I don't have the energy I need to clean it.
I might just be lazy, but I can't get myself up to do the things I need to and it's taking a toll on me.
Yesterday I got sort of written up at work due to miscommunication with a customer, I missed a call I've been waiting a week+ for,
and I cried in front of my boss. Talk about embarrassing. Luckily, she was nice and gave me a hug and drove me home after work,
but going in today nearly killed me. I was so embarrassed and tired.
Back to the call I missed; as many of you know, I'm trans and I'm currently trying to get a move on things.
I'm broke, but I've been in contact with a few therapists trying to see if I can get a letter of recommendation for HRT ( Hormone Replacement Therapy ).
It's taking a toll on my wallet and again, on my stress levels because I'm having a hard time finding one close to me in Texas,
let alone that I can afford and have time to see. It's exciting, but it's a lot and the process is very slow moving. I don't feel like I'm getting anywhere.
My sleep schedule and appetite are pretty messed up, and as much as I'm trying to regulate it, yeah. Not happening I guess.
Moving on to more important stuff I guess, to anyone waiting on ART from me, it's coming.
I tried to draw yesterday, and nope. Not happening. I have tomorrow off so I'm going to TRY, key word: TRY, to get some things done,
but please don't push me. I know I owe you, trust me. I feel bad, but I can't work any faster than I am right now.
Even personal art is stressful right now. I will do your commissions, and if I absolutely cannot, I will refund you. If it comes to that, I will contact you.
Friends, if I don't talk to you or respond to messages, please don't take it personally.
I have no interest in being on my computer or talking to anyone lately.
As a whole, I'm just many people are going to disregard this, I don't like to pull the "mental health" card but I'm really struggling right now.
I know many of you are worse off than I am, I know. I'm beating myself up abut complaining as much as I do. I'll try to keep it to a minimum.
This update is mostly to apologize to everyone and just to ask you guys to bear with me while I sort things out with myself.

My chest is heavy and I feel... more of a loss than if I lost my own family members.
David Bowie has been a big part of my life for years now; his music, his movies, his attitude-- he helped me become who I am today.
Reading his biography helped me decide to do things my way, to be who I wanted to be.
His music helped me through hard times, and helped me make many friends.
It's always been a source of good times for me.
I just got his new album in the mail... yesterday? Two days ago?
I never imagined that it would be the last there ever was....
I didn't imagine his birthday that just passed was the last.
There are so many stars that age, and many that die to soon.
David Bowie, thank you for giving us your time.
It took too long for you to be recognized... but I'm glad the world now appreciates you what you and who you are, even if some of the younger generations don't know the meaning behind your name. There will never be a time when I won't think of you; you were such a big inspiration, you were part of me and many others. Your influence of the world of music has been phenomenal-- I don't know if even you were aware of the position and weight your words and songs held.
It's really hard to write this, I'm literally choking on tears aha, I've never cried this much for anyone.
My thoughts go to Iman, Alexandria, Duncan and even his ex-wife, Angie. I hope you all can support each other through these times and keep only the best memories of him in mind.
I know it's hard, but please know that even if we didn't know him the way you did, we're all here supporting you, too.
Thank you for sharing him with us, thank you for giving up some of your time with him for us.

Work has been crazy, the holidays are coming up fast and the stress is piling on.
I've had to take some quick-cash Holiday comms to buy a gift or two for my girlfriend so I'm a little slow.
Please bear with me and I appreciate your patience.

I've been having a bad art week due to headaches. I suffer from constant migraines and this week has been the worst in a long time, and on top of that I've been searching for a job 24/7 and starting Friday I will have a full time job, so I will be a bit slower!!

First it was the hotel with the stiff bed that was too small for two people and one person with loud snoring.
My back is //killing me// and now my fucking teeth.
