Sorry for the impromptu Hiatus, I'm back
Posted 4 years agoAs the title says, I'm sorry for dropping off the radar for a while. There was some personal stuff that went haywire, but those of you who are in the Lineart stage can expect updates within the next 7 days and those who are in the sketch stage will be receiving updates within the next 14. If anyone wishes refunds I will gladly do so as the issues are on my end completely, please reach out to me via Notes and we'll figure something out.

First off, I wanted to thank everyone for their support these past several weeks. I have a job again! Wife is still job hunting, but the financial aid you guys have provided through purchasing YCH's has been what has kept us afloat. Our bills were so high that even with unemployment we were barely scraping by, but the YCH sales gave us enough to get what we needed and a few creature comforts too.
Unfortunately, my wife and I have had to pretty much leave our apartment overnight last night. We have only a month left on our lease and we were moving anyways, but our neighbors have escalated a few problems to the point where we would have potentially been in danger. Thankfully, my family is letting us move in with them and stay for a while and we are safe, and the pause in production should be over in another day or two as we wrap up moving the major stuff that we need (like my computer!) The rest of the stuff we'll be handling over the course of the next month and shouldn't impact my art queue.
As unsettling as this was, I'm actually glad we're moving sooner than later. By staying with my family for a little we will be able to pour a lot more money into my wife's doctoring process, so we're hoping to finally get some answers on some stuff that's going on with her and get them addressed.

Just wanted to give a little update with things. The past two weeks have been very difficult, as both my wife and I have lost our full-time jobs. I have been spending most of the time job hunting, and time not spent job hunting has been spent fighting unemployment/food stamps for aid.
The good news though is I have some interviews in the pipeline and help on the way, so now that the crisis mode is over I can settle back down and focus on art again. I will be spending the time I would normally be at work working on art- which should speed things up.
Thank you everyone for your understanding- once my queue is cleared I will be pushing out more YCH's available for purchase and potentially open up standard commissions too.

Commission Update!

Just wanted to give a quick update on commissions. Wife's illness had a big flare mid week so I was all hands on deck taking care of her and didn't get a chance to do very much as a result during that time. All is well now, so it's full steam ahead! If you're awaiting updates, expect them over the course of this week should storms not take out my power. Again.
