I saw the new house this evening. It�s blue, which is auspicious. It faces east. *yes Jake, I was keeping track as we went* also auspicious. And best of all, it gives at least Ri and Jake a good feeling inside. They seemed so much more relaxed and happy today. It was really nice. It has a garden that needs love, and room for us all. I�m going to grow mint and catnip for tea and lavender for headache pillows, and vegetables so that we can eat healthy fresh stuff. It�s surrounded by trees. I love them already, even if they may make growing things a bit more of a challenge. Nothing that I am unprepared for. I�m already wondering if edemame (soy beans) would grow. They should, they do well in even poor soil. Cucumbers do well in this climate, as do sugar snap peas, strawberries, raspberries, carrots, and pumpkins. I think it may be too late in the growing season for me to plant most of these, but at least the strawberries (from potted starts), carrots, and pumpkins (yay for jack-o-lanterns, pumpkin soup, pumpkin bread, and pumpkin pies!) have time.
There�s a red and yellow rose bush, I�m told. I�m going to ask my grandpa the best way to care for it. And I�m going to check out the light in the back and figure out the best plants for the beds Jake said were there.

On other notes, I�m seriously thinking about starting up a business making belly dancing costumes and accessories. I know how to make the basic pants, bras, and skirts, and Candace taught me how to make chain mail, which is the basis of many belly dancing jewelry pieces. I love feeling like a real artisan, making tangible things of beauty that people can enjoy. I guess that�s why I love to cook and garden and sew and all that. I�m also going to learn wood carving, carpentry, and metal working eventually. I like a simple, honest life, and I think the next year will give me a chance to begin to live one. I want to someday live by the fruits of my labor, what I can make myself, and not just by being a warm body to order around. The powers that be have blessed me with hands that can create things, urge things to grow, and put things together, and so they shall.

P.S: if you are waiting on a commission from me, it should be out in one to two weeks after the move (the firs) I�m sorry about the delay, but things here are a trifle hectic. I again apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your support, confidence, and patience.

I noticed that in the times we live in people feel that they cannot be themselves. They feel they have to hide what they truly feel at times... for fear of what other think. However I feel you should be as ________ as you want to. Watch the video and if you feel the message in the video is a good one to share sign your name, write down what people have criticized others about but write it to tell them that its okay. ( i.e. if your a bit on the hefty side you can write "Be as thick as you want to" *grins* )

In order to be truly free to do/ be/ feel as we want... we gotta have a bit of understanding and tolerance. You dont have to like the song... or even like the cartoon. But if you like the message copy and post it in another journal. If you have other galleries/ blogs/ sites that people go to add this too!! PLEASE!! Make it spread!!
