Posted 10 years agoSo currently we're on a waiting list to get tables at CF, which basically means if there aren't any drop-outs or no-shows, then we straight-up just aren't getting a space.
Which is fine, we'll have to book faster for the next one.
Trading or not, I've made a VERY minimal and simple website with an online shop that we'll be using to sell excess stock, and I've just finished putting everything on it: Badges, Postcards & Auri's Leather Collars.
I'll be making a bigger and more proper site once we actually have enough stock or sales to warrant one, but for now it's just a nice place to grab things you might have missed, and our contact details/portfolios for commissions.

I do the website coding, webcomic uploads, online shop deliveries and some table-minioning for Doctor Geof and this project - A comic about a rubber-clad gimp failing to save the day whilst exploring the kinky aspects for human sexuality.
There’s discussions of the Extreme Pornography laws, issues themed around specific kinks (Furries, Fantasy, Militaria) and just some good ol’ fun with nuns!

Posted 10 years agoSo after seeing a lot of people talk about Weasyl positively, and increasing numbers discuss FA & it's recent buyout & new Beta (which I still can't seem to access) less then nicely, I decided to revisit the Weasyl account I made a year ago and see how the site's improved.
HOLY BOKS! - It's really friggin good!
The layout and submission forms are really easy to use, I can actually CHANGE me username (as I've wanted to do here for over a year now), you can actually do a proper search - like for an actual artist, not just their work, posted onto various profiles, causing a paper-trail you have to unravel just to +watch a new person.
Yeah! I like it!
So I did the name change, re-uploaded my stuff, and now I'm on there too. Will be uploading in Tandem.

So, CF filled it's dealer's den cray-cray early this year, and I, like a LOT of us, paid as quick as I could and got on the waiting list, hoping they could re-arrange or grow the den.
Iiiiiiiiiiiii am still not in there. And the map is up now. Sadface :(
I'm still on a waiting list - but I get the impression that's in case of cancellations.
Did not expect this kindof over-booking when CF once again clashed with MCM London, but there we go - gotta book faster next time.
I'm still going - will bring stock just in case, will bring people's badges, printed and laminated.
But yeah, kinda sucks and there's no-one to blame. Feeling hopeful, but realistic.
If anyone wants a table-buddy (and knows me, otherwise tell CF because it's only fair to go through their list) let me know :D
I do graphics, badges, postcards, keyrings & art. Mike does AWESOME art, commissions and leatherwork.

I live so close to it now, me and blondegoth hope to be trading again (DEFINATELY attending at the very least - so you can come pick these up, as well as get a digital copy.)
The theme is Alice in Wonderland so I'm cranking out the Vector Art skills I normally use for website design and making Playing Card badges.
I love symmetry, I love geometry and I love math - so these are gonna be crazy-precise. Because I CAN'T let them not be.
They don't have to be sexy. But Vyrne is. He's a kinky f*ker. So Yeah.
Auri's isn't - they're more mature, been there f*ked that, kinda just getting on with work, life and stuff.

Draks: The Celtic Album

It's really nice a light - very reminiscent of old JRPGs set in farming towns and pleasant fields.

...yeah, nope.
Was wondering if any other UK (or Europe) people have been wanting something from BD, or will want something during their January sale (if that's a thing they do) - so we could split the postage, and send everything out from one persons address to the other'ses.

My favourite bunch of Canadians, LoadingReadyRun, play the world's most boring game for as long as people keep donating to Child's Play.
There will be prizes, auctions, singing, comedy, cringing and merriment.
And after interviewing them for several years, finally managed to donate something to the prize pool - worked with Dr. Geof to send a bunch of things across the pond and we're really looking forward to seeing how well they sell. For the children!

Posted 11 years agoI am through all of my website and graphics commissions and since I've been to approximately ONE convention this year, I'm not sure how long it'll be until I get more.
Also I'm broke.
So here's a totally self-indulgent blog about my coding skillz that pay my billz (occasionally. Hopefully.)
As well as vector graphics and small sketches, I code PHP, HTML and CSS - specialising in Wordpress and Zencart.
It's my main thing really, I'm still kinda new to art - but have been coding sites since Uni (5 years).
Prices vary by the site's complexity and how long it should take to do.
Generally though it's minimum £100, and shouldn't go over £300.
With enough details I can give a solid quote.
You can use your own proffered hosting, or I can set one up for you - I know some lovely places.
And it's totally possible to set up a site and have it be entirely manageable by your good self - if you're savvy enough to update a site, but have no time to make one of your own, I've still got you covered ;)
I can make sites for any purpose: webcomic, store, online catalogue, portfolio, blog, newsletter hub and more!

Back from Confuzzled 2014

A very long lie-in and 2 days later I'm sortof back in action.
Confuzzled was, of course, absolutely delightful.
So many new and old friends to meet and greet.
And a boyfriend and neighbour to share some tables with ^^
After I accidentally booked too many... huzzah for friendship!!!
Thanks to blondegoth and 
raessuits for dealing with me (in 2 sense of the word :P).
Thanks to everyone who bought stuff and helped pay for the decadent food of a Hilton Hotel (pfft. Pizza. Yeah).
Seriously though, it was a great time, with good food, rooms, organisers and volunteers. MAJOR props to all the volunteers who brought us drinks, checked we were still alive, and made the whole thing flow smoothly.
Been to Confuzz twice now, and while I did miss the Hinkley Island Hotel, the Birmingham Metropole was a very nice and pretty place. Next time: I book time off enough to USE the darn pool/jacuzzi. Looked so goooood.
