We have a space in the back set aside for sick or pregnant animals at my pet store, and every time I go back there at the end of the night, I check up on them to see if they have food and water. But what do I find? The mother hamster with sox babies has NO FOOD and NO WATER. My god! Who knows how long they've been going without either? Must have been am awfully long time, considering the babies were practically fighting eachother to get at the water spout. Now normally I wouldn't mind too badly about this happening if it happened, oh, pnce. But this happens EVERY TIME. I come into work! Same wither the mice and the rats. Is that fair to these animals? FUCK no! Just because you don't like a damn animal doesn't give you the right to shirk your damn responsibilities for a living, breathing creature!
Why the FUCK dpi have to work with a team of PET STORE employees that won't tale care of their fucking animals!?

Okay. Even if they don't give a damn about them, they should think about it this way: if we are a pet store that sells pets, WOULDN'T THAT MEAN WE ARE LOSING MONEY ON PRODUCT??

Warning, if you do not want to read a very sad journal, please let me be. I thank you all in advance that will offer your condolences. It is very much appreciated.


Earlier this morning, I got a call from my father, telling me that my dog, Carley had lost the use of her hind legs. I drove over and found her curled up in my step mothers arms on the floor. I picked her up, through painful whimpers and groans, and brought her to the car. We drove to the emergency pet clinic where the vet there surmised that the nerves in her lower back had became unresponsive. She was a ripe old age of 15. We decided that this was no way for her to live the rest of her life. So, my beautiful baby girl died in my very arms under euthanasia. She died quietly, and all too quickly. I'm still crying and every word of this journal feels like a knife in my chest. I want to tear my heart out, if it means I can have relief from the pain.

I think I'm gonna go to sleep here in a few minutes. Maybe I can sleep off my grief. I cried a lot today. More than I have in ten years.

But I wanna know anyways :T

Yup. Was cleaning up my room yesterday, and there it was! Woot! Gonna be making more digital drawings again! And also I'm available for OC sessions again!

Little rant in 3...2....1....

Had today off.
Got called in at 4.
From 5-closing (9:00), just ME and my manager managing a constant flow of people until the doors were shut.
ughhhh... couldn't get ANYTHING done in the store until the last hour.

So I come home weary... have to do dishes and make something for dinner. Oh, also, my sister left to work and then calls the same time I get home to tell me to feed her dog and her mouse.

This is only at 10 o clock. Then I find out that I have no dish soap, so NOW I have to go BACK OUT and go to Wal-Mart and get dish soap and something else much quicker for dinner.
So now it's 10:45 and I finally come back home. Rolling my sleeves up to start on it, guess what happens?

My sister calls again. Oh no! She forgot her wallet and forgot to get herself something to eat!

Guess what I have to do?
Yep.
Being the good brother that I am, I take her wallet and a ziplock bag of some leftover pizza slices and drive all the way out to go see her at her job which is across town.

Now that i'm back home, it's now 11:45. What? I still have to do dishes and make dinner AND feed all the animals?

Fuck that.

The dishes can wait...

OH

Almost forgot!
I have to be up in six hours to open at one of our sister pet stores because I thought it was a good idea to get more hours.

Tomorrow i'm going to be a zombie.
