Additional AUP changes
Posted 15 years agoWith the additional changes to the AUP I don't think either of us will be staying around on this site much longer. Things are just getting too restrictive for my tastes.
I'll leave this account the way it is, so I won't be scrapping everything since there is a lot of good adult art of us and I'd like to promote those artists. Chances are though I won't be posting much here in the future since I don't really get adult art of us much. I'll still be around to chat should anyone wish to though. :3

Posted 15 years agoI just wanted to say thanks to all of you who have watched me and talked with me and given favorites on the commissions I've gotten of myself and Skylar. I never considered that so many people would like the commissions I've gotten of us together. Skylar and I have both loved getting the art from so many talented artists as much as we liked sharing it with all of you as well.
Skylar and I are cubs though and we always will be. So unfortunately, it seems that we are no longer welcome here on FA. It seems kind of sad seeing as we had just gotten 10000 pageviews. I along with all the others on this site will have to take down the cub art that I have gotten of us which equates to about 90% of the art we have.
However, if you do like the art of Skylar and I, I would encourage you to come check us out on Inkbunny. I have been moving my gallery over there slowly but surely.

Posted 15 years agoHello all! I saw this little meme here and decided it was worth the time to do to let you guys know a little about Skylar and myself. I'm always open for questions, so if you have any, feel free to ask. :3
1. Who eats more?
I do for sure... I'm lucky if I can get him to eat more than a cracker or a cookie...
2. Who said “I love you” first?
I did. We started spending a lot of time together and I wanted to make my feelings for him known. We've been together now for almost a year and a half now. ^^
3. Who is the morning person?
He is... Kitty hates morning. :(
4. Who sings better?
I would have to say we're both about even on the potential for it. At the moment though, I would say me because I'm better with tone and pitch but both of us are waaaay out of practice. :3
5. Who’s older?
I am by a little less than four years.
6. Who’s smarter?
I think we're both pretty evenly matched on this as well. It was part of why we clicked so well when we met.
7. Whose temper is worse?
Definitely mine... I get bitchy and very short tempered because of all the pain I have to live with.
8. Who does the laundry?
We do our own laundry. Though, on occasion I have done his a few times.
9. Who does the dishes?
I fucking hate dishes... He will be doing them.
10. Who sleeps on what side of the bed?
I sleep on the left side and he takes the right. He likes to be closer to the wall.

Considering I'm a whole foot taller than him in real life... I think it's safe to say mine. hehe

His. I really like him with short hair. But he hates it so he's going to grow it out again. *sadface*

I am. I've just had many more years experience with them. In fact it's been my occupation for the last 10 years. He's no dummy about computers though. He just hasn't had my exposure.

Yes we do! Two kitties and a doggie! :3

We pay our own bills mostly. Eating costs, entertainment and such we share.

I will be. I've just had much more exposure to living on my own.

One kitty was mine before we got together so me. He already had his doggie so he named him. The other kitty we both rescued from the shelter and we named him together. ^^

I kissed him first. We were both really lonely before meeting each other... We didn't really waste any time. haha

I asked him to be my mate. About a month after we first started seeing each other. We went to Califur '09 together and we haven't looked back since. :3
25. What did you do on your first date?
We met up at one of the local fur meets that used to be held here. I had never been to one and I just impromptu decided to go to one about 200 miles away. I figured I'd meet some of the locals as well since I was talking to him a couple days before. We stayed at the meet until it was over and then went over to one of his (and now my) good friend's house and smoked some hookah. Then we came back to his place and I was going to leave back to home but he told me he wouldn't mind if I stayed the night since it was such a long drive back home. I was getting ready to sleep on the couch when he told me I could sleep with him, then I was going to lay on his floor and he said he didn't mind me sleeping next to him in his bed. At first I was a little scared, but we tried to sleep and mostly ended up cuddling and snuggling all night long. We decided to be a little naughty in the morning when we woke up though. >:3
26. Who’s more sensitive?
I would say I'm the one to show my feelings a lot more than he does. I'm tired of hiding my feelings from people so I tend to show them a lot more.

Definitely me. I'm 6'5" and he's only 5'6". *giggles*
28. Who has more friends?
He does. I didn't really know anyone in the fandom or have any friends until he introduced me to his.
29. Who has more siblings?
He does. By a lot. He has three sisters and a brother. I only have one sister.

I definitely do. I'm by far the more dominant one when it comes to things. But I do like to let him do what he wants most of the time. When he's happy, It makes me happy. ^^

Yiff story completion!
Posted 15 years agoI know I've been promising to get a story out. I wanted to make sure that it lived up to my quality of standards and therefore I took a lot of time to make sure I was happy with the story and where it was going.
Now it's finally finished! Tell me what you think! :3
After about a month of thinking, planning, drawing inspiration from many different sources and writing I was finally able to put the finishing touches on my first cub yiff story with Skylar and myself. I put quite a lot of effort into this one, so I hope you will all enjoy it.
Please keep in mind that it is written in a first-person, stream-of-consciousness voice. The perspective will change from me talking in first person to my own thoughts about the situation at hand and back to myself in the first-person during the events of the story.
If you do read it, please let me know what you think, as this will be the basis on if I decide to write any other stories or not. I would appreciate your thoughts. If enough people like it I may decide to write another one sometime in the future. :3

I'm happy to say that the story is about halfway completed now and I should be able to finish in the next couple weeks or so depending on work and all that. I'm putting a tremendous amount of effort into this story so I'm really hoping you guys will like it. :3

If you're going to try to yiff me though, remember that I am already mated. I can play online but anything done will never grow to anything other than fantasy. I'm a boy cub and a fag. Also, I'm not always in the mood for yiffing so if I say no I mean no.

Picked up a cell phone this weekend.
Posted 15 years agoI have stayed away from cell phones up until now cause I really hated them. So I really don't know jack shit about them or really even what their capabilities are. However, circumstances now require me to get one this weekend. So I ask you guys.
What do you think is the best phone for the price? What are some pros and cons of your favorite cell phone? Any insight you guys share with me will be very helpful in choosing one!

New Job!
Posted 15 years agoI've finally started my new job as a NOC server monitor! I'm glad to finally be back into meaningful employment after almost a year of being unemployed and feeling generally useless. For now, I'm working as a contract to hire. The job pays $20/hr with full time hours. The workdays will be really nice once I'm done with training too. It'll be 12 hours shifts but it will be in a 4 on 3 off, 3 on 4 off rotation. Once I get permanently hired on to the actual company it will be $50k/yr + benefits on salary. So happy! :3

A few days after making this account I met the most wonderful wolf in the whole wide world. We got along extremely well and what started out as something good became the most wonderful thing I could ever ask for. We really hit it off and soon I asked him to become my mate. When I asked him I was so scared he'd think that we were moving too fast or that we were not going to work out because of the distance apart that we lived at the time. I was so happy when he said "Yes!" without a second thought.
About a month after we became mates together I posted the first pictures of my fursona. I was hesitant to post them at first. What would other furs think of my fursona? Well, if anything, you've all shown me that you like Zander quite a bit. I never really expected to get 5000+ pageviews, 1300+ favorites and almost 300 watchers. Especially since I never really say anything on the page other than thanking furs for watches and faves and replies to comments left on our pictures.
I also never really thought I would get so many different commissions either though heh. I never really thought that this many furs would like the pictures I commissioned so I just sort of posted them and forgot about them. Well, that will no longer be the case. I intend to start using this page more to house my thoughts on things as well as the pictures that I've gotten. If there is ever anything anyone would like to ask me, please do and I'll answer honestly.
I really love seeing how different artists view Skylar and Zander. So you can count on plenty more pictures of us doing naughty things to come. >:3

Posted 16 years agoLast night my mate was feeling really bad. He had been feeling horrible for the last 3 and a half weeks. He went to Urgent Care last week and they just gave him some antibiotics. Those needless to say didn't work. He seems to have some kind of flu and the doctors aren't sure what it is. We went to the Emergency Room yesterday and they started doing all kinds of tests.
They did a CAT scan of his tummy and found out he has appendicitis on top of whatever flu thing he has. He decided he wanted to go through with the surgery. It was completely the right choice cause his appendix was swollen and infected and it needed to be taken out before something more serious happened. I was such a nervous wreck before the surgery. I know it is just a minor procedure but there is always that one in a million chance that something could go horribly wrong. I was crying and I told him that he better come back to me. I waited an hour or so in the waiting room pacing back and forth wondering if he was ok. Finally the doctor came in and told me the operation was a success and that he should heal well. They brought him out and into the room and I was so happy to see him doing ok that I started crying pretty badly, tears of happiness. I spent the next 3 hours with him at his side but soon my pain started to be too much.
I had to go home at around 4AM because I had gone 13 hours without my pain medication, and Fibromyalgia is not something that is easily shrugged off even with pain meds. Their chairs were hurting me something fierce. Anyway, I'm about to head back to the hospital and spend the day with him. I'm hoping his insurance will cover most of this but I know it won't. We'll probably be paying for this for quite some time. I'm not asking for money. So please don't think that this is another one of the 'please give me free money' journals. All I ask is that you keep Skylar in your thoughts and wish him a speedy recovery.

100 themes project!

xK2x on a school project so to speak. For her art school she has to draw a character in 100 different pre-themed images. The themes have already been pre-decided by the instructor. K2 gave the marvelous chance to have the character be someone's fursona. Lucky for me I took the chance and won! *glee* This really is a win/win for both of us. I love getting the art and seeing what she comes up with. I don't even know what all of the themes are. Hooray for surprises! hehe ^^ I have been working closely with her to get these done and she consults me about some of the themes, like the dying and blood ones to make sure that I'm ok with what she is drawing but also to get information on Zander and his personality, likes and dislikes, etc...
I've been told multiple times that my fursona is uber cute by many different people. To all of you that have said that to me, thankies very much! <3 you all! *huggles* So, K2 gets to draw a fursona that she really likes to draw and I get the surprise of all the wonderful art! They are all hand drawn and colored with markers! I love hand drawn stuff hehe. ^^
Anyway, over the next few months I'll be posting the art here as I get them with the theme listed in each one. I'm so excited! hehe I hope all of you watchers have as much fun with seeing what she comes up with for the themes as I do! *kitty hugs and nuzzles!*

Another day gone by that I wish was longer...
Posted 16 years agoYesterday was the best birthday I've had in a long while. Mainly because this time I had someone special that I love to share it with. I really haven't celebrated my birthday in about 8 years now that I think about it. I just didn't have anyone to share it with so I didn't see the point of celebrating. This year however, things have certainly changed.
I met the most wonderful wolf in the world and he is very special to me. I've never been really good with relationships before, all of them ending in failure. This time is different however. When we met it was like one of those things you see in fairy tales where you just know everything will be wonderful. True to that, it really has. We both love each other so very much and are planning on spending the rest of our lives together. He has really changed my entire life and certainly for the better.
He surprised me with a hand drawn card with words I have longed to hear for what seems like an eternity. I was so happy I started to tear up. *sniffle* He also got me Infamous for the PS3. :3
Thank you so much for the wonderful birthday Skylar and thank you so much for being my mate and for just being in my life. I love you with all my heart puppy! *hugs, kisses and cuddles*
