It's a bit late, but I got back from DenFur last month. It was okay. Took a while to drive up there with the 70 west looking like it was closed going through Glenwood Canyon. But being there with friends is what made it fun.

In other news, I'm gonna need to remake this ref sheet - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/3848156/. I've been wanting to make a video on making a second Dalma fursuit, but with the original artist missing, I'm kind of in a gray area about wanting to ask permission to use said artwork even though I paid for the commission. But when it comes to using, I guess that'll be a bridge I'm gonna have to cross when I get to it.

Other things I might do that actually need serious consideration: Make another Dalma Dalmatian fursuit, see about NFTs and where I should do them for fun, get my foot to stop hurting so I can get back into exercising, and do more writing.

I'm sort of wanting to build my own secret fursuit. For that, I'd need a ref sheet, but that may require I find an artist who can help keep a secret. I'm going to have to find one who's as local to me as possible.

I kind of need to update a few of my ref sheets. A couple of the original artists are no longer available to talk for whatever reason, so rather than walk down the paths that might very well be dead ends, I'm just going to go with new artists to redo them.

I'll be in Seattle next weekend. Definitely need to make this a fun con. Wish me luck.

As it says on the tin, I need to acquire more artwork. It's simply a matter of finding artists to commission.

I survived another Further Confusion. I probably should make a report, but I'm not really feeling it. It was good, though. Not as good as FC 2008, but I liked it.

Not yet, anyway. I've just been busy. I haven't even had the time to take any fursuit portraits, that's how busy I've been. I have, however, been active enough on Twitter, that I figured I'd only occasionally check in here. Now that I've checked in, I'll go back to trying to get things done. Hopefully, it'll be in the fursuiting area.

Just letting you all know that I haven't forgotten about this account. I've just been backed up a lot with enough things that I haven't been able to upload here as much as I'd like.

I have, so far, survived another Further Confusion. I also expect to try and attend Califur this year. And, on top of a lot of things, I hope to be able two construct two new fursuits in time. The only problem is, I know nothing about fursuit construction. I know a lot more about a lot of other things. I know more about computers and auto repair than being able to build a fursuit. Of course, not knowing how to do something has never stopped me before. I just have to buck up and get it done.

That's about it for now. I just have to go back and design characters based on the fur I have. Good night.

The first, and perhaps only, name I could come up with was Puppy Beeblebrox. Why Puppy Beeblebrox? Because Zaphod Beeblebrox sounded like a good idea at 11 at night. That's why.

Still thinking about changing the nose, though. I wonder who could help me out there, since I'm totally incapable of doing such a modification without screwing it up. Any help is appreciated.

Fortunately, for Live Journal, I'm back. Just a little update on the life of a cheetah/Dalmatian/Dalmatian/whateverly fursuiter.

Conventions. I'll be attending Califur and Rain Furrest. I'll try my damnedest to get to Anthrocon for once in my life. RMFC was an alright con, but I don't see myself attending this year. As for Antheria, well, I don't think it'll be happening in 2012.

I was also thinking of setting up a Dealer's Den table at Califur this year. I need to raise money for something really big, and I figured that Caifur would be the perfect place to start. Won't say what that thing will be, exactly, but I do promise to reveal it once it's complete.

Fursuiting. I'm hoping to get another fursuit this year, one of my character Raoul Dalmatian. Unfortunately, a friend of mine who was supposed to make the ref sheet for me has failed, and I'm now forced to look for another person that get it done for me. It's that important.

Life. All's not that bad. Could be worse, but it could also be better.

Now, the journal. I've finally registered and made hotel arrangements for Further Confusion. I'll be taking my Mr. Thompson, Anji 1.5, and Dalma fursuits with me. I'll be there Friday through Monday.

I can't remember the last time I was at FC. Oh, wait, yest I can. It was last year! And it'll be again this year, too! XD

Finally, before I head off, I've sort of an idea for a fursuit film. I've head it for a while, but I haven't really finished writing it, yet. I hope to start filming it by the start of FC. So, who's with me?

First off, I'd like to thank my new followers. I've been quite busy with the change in my professional career, and haven't been able to address everyone appropriately until now. But I hope this makes up for it.

As quite a few of you may or may not be privy to being in the know, I've taken the proactive measure of getting myself a fursuit update of sorts. That's right! I've now got the body suit all made and done for my Mr. Thompson fursuit.

But seriously, though. It seems as if my little surprise may be starting to spread out. If you've already figured it out, great. If not, I'll be sure to take pics of it and upload it once it's finally arrived at my place. And boy, if it looks as good in person as it does online, I'll be pleasantly satisfied.

In unrelated news, I do believe I'll have just about five pounds more or so to lose, and I'll be set. Current weight: 118 lbs. Target weight: 110 lbs. And I plan on having it all be lean muscle, too. :D

I'm just going to leave this up for a bit, since I'm too lazy to actually open up the Text Edit program and write my char ref there.

Raoul Dalmatian. An unusual Dalmatian in that he has pink spots instead of the normal black/brown/liver spots that Dalmatians normally have.

Spot coloration - Pink.
Ear coloration - Both solid pink.
Eye color - Brown.
Height - Short. 5'3" tall.
Build - Slender, and just a slight bit effeminate femme boyish.
Hair - No. Normal fur.
Nose color - Solid pink.
Digit configuration - Five fingers, four toes.
Special markings - A question mark on each of his bottom cheeks. A normal one on his right cheek, and a mirror image one on the left side.

Rain Furrest in September, followed by Antheria the week after. Which is a step up from last year, in that I went to RF the whole weekend, and only visited Antheria on Sunday. Have I done something like this before? No, not really. Would it seem like a bad idea to try it? I'm not really sure about it. I'd like to see what'd happen.

Which means I'm going to have to save my money to make this all possible.

Yes, I have now become a puppy, courtesy of  Anji-kun. That, along with my Mr. Thompson fursuit down for repairs. Meaning, I need to find ways to bide my time. So far, I've made a couple of videos and uploaded them. But one person can make only so many videos alone.

Which begs the question: Anyone wanna help, or at least take part in, fursuit videos?

Especially since the only problem with the one I have now is that I'm only really concerned with the fact that I've lost a bit of weight since I had it made. Which was last Super Bowl Sunday. That, and I'm not too confident that it's up to par with how a duct tape dummy should have been made.

Those of you who know that know that I'd need a DTD for a full fursuit. And I'll be getting a full suit done. Along with a body suit for another fursuit. *Cough*Mr. Thompson*/cough* As for the fursuit, it's no real surprise. At least, it shouldn't be a surprise. It'll a surprise as to what it'll look like in real life, when it's finally done.

But back to my point. I might be looking to update my DTD soon. I just need a bit of help getting it made, and I need another's help to get done. Anybody care to help out? It'd help that anyone helping out be in the Southern California area, specifically San Diego, Orange and Los Angeles counties. Or as far as Riverside and Imperial, if it gets to be that.

Califur - Right now, after attending for the prior three years, I have no real incentive to attend in 2011. Not unless something major happens, where my skills are needed, but I don't really see that happening.

Anthrocon - Never been there. For anyone who has, is it worth it?

RMFC - Probably. I'd like to go.

Rain Furrest - Due to life happening, I don't really see myself attending anything out of state past mid-August.

Midwest Furfest - It's pretty much the same deal as RF. Can't see myself going to Chicago the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Given that, I might be inclined to go to more local meets and everything. That is, if there were more being held besides the PS party. Hurrah for ghetto parties held in ghetto houses in working class areas of Orange County, California. Especially when it's attendees have a nasty habit of saying stupid things that would normally get them beaten up, or worse, in the real world. Which is why I'm weary of wanting to attend, especially when I have no backup should things get heavier than I would want them to be, or anticipate.

Plus, it's always the same deal - people want things to get better, but are afraid of failing in trying to go for it.

That's right. After a year of running around in a partial, I figure it's about time to go back and say, "I'm ready for my full suit, Ms. Coyote."

Or, I could just say, 'Screw it', postpone that plan indefinitely, and drop as much money as I can on a certain fursuit owned and operated by a certain fursuit maker, and see how much I can take advantage of that situation. But then, I'd probably need that money for other, more important things. Like trying to finish my Bachelor's degree.

And yes, I did make a vow last time about how I'd buy LV's next fursuit, should it go up for sale. And, to be honest, I didn't really expect it to happen so quickly, especially after the sale of her last suit, Alejandro the German Shepherd. I thought I'd have had a few more months to save my money for something like that. Ideally, in the month or so before Anthrocon.

It's not like I'm not willing to take a chance either. But I'm looking at things from an economics point of view. Review all my options, weigh them out, and see which one works out the best.

Who here's attending MFF? I'll be there. Funny how security's being ramped up the week before Thanksgiving. Just as I'm deciding whether or not to take my fursuit along with me, since I also need to carry other things on board with me besides my fursuit head. I can imagine the conversation with security.
