101'st Production

For those who may not know, it's usually a tradition here to create an appreciation post after completing their 101st production.
So, what to take away from this?
1. You won't succeed if all you care about is fame and money in this industry (clichรฉ but pls trust a person that has gone thru 100 shoots)
2. Passion & Perseverance - 2 things you got to have in this industry.
3. Finding something you actually like doing really takes the pain away from the work.
4. No one -- I repeat -- no one is going to be there to help you 100% of the time. Be ready for those moments, be prepared to (mentally) go alone, plan ahead, and then finally plan the present.
Not the other way around.
That's how one stay the course.

7 years later.
Posted 3 years ago7 years in. Learnt a lot. Seen a lot. And I've changed a lot, both emotionally & physically.
Hence I think itโs time for an update.

How was my 2020?

Happy that I got a job amidst the pandemic.
Happy that I'm doing things I like as a job <3
Happy that I ORDed.
But at the same time
Sad the whole world has turned upside down.
Sad that lives are affected.
Sad that lives are lost.

Disclaimer: This does NOT fit into everyone's agenda so please read this with a grain of salt. Will be taking a backseat in continuing my education for now. That seat shall be taken over by my work & portfolio building, which I feel is more relevant in short-run when I too need some revenue to keep me afloat. And I guess also gives me some time to reflect what I'd like to actually invest my time to do in general for the next 25 years or so. I'll eventually head back to the books.
[Work]
Finally got into the working world this year. Transition was actually smoother than I anticipated. Probably thanks to the numerous related jobs I took up every holiday period. That said, definitely not celebrating. Tough road ahead, new and strange things to encounter. Will be keeping an open mind on them :)
[Personal]
Health & protections: Tapping out of the military means changes my involvement in keeping myself in shape, or does it? A challenging task is keeping my health's status quo in check whilst working my ass off the next few years but I guess setting aside an hour daily for something physical works for now. Let's see how it evolves. Have also recently insured me with some policies cuz' adulting.
Friends: Made some friends and lost some. But I guess this year I have more often than not, made the friends that I would like to have, friends that could motivate, to talk, to have fun with. That's a big plus in shaping myself.
Relationship: 3 years of ups and downs. It wasn't easy. So thank you for another year sticking by me, Mizuki. I still wish I had more time in improving this segment of life but I guess I do need some guidance from you as well Mizuki XD
Finance: Officially debt-free at the beginning of 2020. <3
With all that said, I think it's finally safe to say we survived 2020 ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฅ Give yourself a pad on the back. 2021 HAS to be better guys. Do not stop fighting.

So YH, how's FurDU 2018?
Posted 7 years agoFurDU 2018- My first furry con, ever. :)
The year was 2016 when I made the decision to make time, save up & ultimately fly from hot & humid SG to Down Under with the rest of the South.East.Asian furs to experience a furry con for the first time. Aside from being tied down with school fees and work, I was still determined to make FurDU 2018 a reality.
I also threw in the decision to suit up as the good ol' Plague doctor for this year's FurDU theme.
With a little planning, prepping & pancakes in Paradise-ing, I have made my very first furry con a very successful experience. But guess who put in the encouragement & effort during all these? That's right, you guys! I am sorry that I can't name every single one but I would like to point out the following peeps AND their mutual fams: Zander, Clara, Kiba, Gao, Defago, Foster, Lyra, Chirros, Sergei, Ernest, Chey, Jaric, Rareel, Teryx & of course, the current runners of the event. You guys gave me, Photos, Tours, "Get togethers", Advices, Fab artworks, Convos, accommodations, drinks, list goes on tbh. Glad I met you guys.
To the furs all over the world that met me, rest assured we'll meet again
To the local furs, catch up soon :)

- Going to a (overseas) furry convention for the very first time
- Visited more than 3 countries on the same month
- Officially done with school
most importantly....
- Officially gotten both my OC & Fursona this month! I joined both the Furry & Brony communities on 2007 & 2011 respectively but never really had an official piece of reference sheet until now. I love the two final products; Really glad I used some time to think about the details for both of them!

A little bit of myself:
- YH's the name you can call for sake of ease!
- I was (un)officially dubbed as low key furry for the first time back in late 2007. I did not join any groups that's relevant to furries until 2016 when I got to know about the local community in my country
- As of 2017, there's no official sona being created from and for me but I'm working on it!
- I am a Cheetah-Husky hybrid.
- Coffee is best drink!
