When they first rolled the plot I thought, "Oh god, here they go telling about the bad guys and then we can watch the heroes defeat them one by one for the rest of the movie", but after that moment I was glued to the screen every second.

I seriously had to go back and re-watch the scene where Leonardo fought his brother, Raphael. Then when the bad guys then made off with poor Leo, it was just like opening up for a big can of awesome.

The credits I have to give this movie is that the plot was really, really well thought out. It went way past the cliché “bad guys versus good guys” plot, first there’s betrayal among the bad guys, then a conflict amongst the heroes, finally a side switch where the old nemesis joins a truce to help save the world.

It also had great humor, they didn’t overuse the in-between jokes like in Shrek 3 and I really got a kick out of most of them. I had a bit of problems recognizing April since she didn’t look like anything I remembered. And I still can't get the turtles' names right. 8D

Also, there needs to be more TMNT porn. I need to do something about that.

The first messages that welcomed me back home was the usual “Your computer could be in danger”, “There’s software updates available for your computer” and the sin of all pop ups – apple software update.

Reading the replies to my last journal entry, I feel really touched you guys. I didn’t know you loved my porn that much. What would you ever do if I stopped drawing it? *tear*

As for the trip, I played lots of Spyro: The Eternal Night at my father's place and got to some tough Elemental Dragon before I had to head home. Man, that game kicks ass! I loved the character control with the four elements; earth was by far my favorite move for clearing out monsters and fire with the blazing charge for battling bosses.

Now I am very tempted to do some Spyro porn. =o

Although the downside of the trip was that my sister had PMS during the whole time. Blargh! Women!

Actually, I'm just leaving for the weekend to go see my dad, but I thought I'd catch your attention better this way.

As a kid, I never managed to beat this game. I just remember having spent countless of hours trying to get through the game, it was so difficult and I got so angry at times.

Now, I just beat the game in half an hour. Tadaaa.

That last boss I remember really, really devastating … a Kirby cloud shooting midgets at me. I was like, “Wtf? That can’t seriously be what I had so much trouble beating”. So after shooting it down, this totally badass plane comes up and starts bombarding me like was it New Years Eve.

BUT I DID IT. I beat Super Mario like, 10 years after everyone else did it!!1

And, this is totally what I should NOT be doing over my exam preparation. =)

I don't remember any of the actors or the title of the movie, so any help finding it is highly appreciated.

The plot of the movie is a cop investigating some murders of men killed while having a bondage session with the killer. Unknown to the cop is that the killer is actually the woman living really close to him.

One of the scenes I remember from the movie was when he had gone to one of those dominant women and let her tie him up while having reinforcement ready downstairs. But when she gags and blindfolds him, the troops loses contact and storms in and shoots her. They then find that she weren’t holding any weapon but a mere spanker, and replace it with a gun to make it look like she was dangerous.

I remember that scene being pretty darn hot so I’d really like to find the movie again. ;)

I have given my current commissions a lot of thought because I really don’t seem to be motivated enough to dig through the list.

On the one hand, I’d like to give everyone an equal opportunity to get something drawn by me. On the other hand, some of the commissions aren’t very appealing to me, and I find myself taking an excessively amount of time trying to get it done properly.

As a decision, I don’t want anyone paying me when I can’t give you what you want at a full effort. As a result, I feel much better with removing some of the commissions from the list. If you are one of those who had their commission removed, I apologize to you - please don’t make a fuss out of it. I am certain some other artist will happily draw your idea for the money, but I’m just not capable of getting it done it seems.

You are still free to come with any idea for a commission, but should I decline it then please don’t dig into it. I won’t ask anyone to re-work their idea just to fit my interests, that’s just not fair. Yes, this also means I’m open to commissions again, but I will be careful not to let the list get out of hand.

I would like to make the comic something that goes on and doesn't necessarily just end at a certain point. As such, I'm open to ideas and will link to this journal occasionally. Feel free to discuss the comic here as well as any suggestions for events or characters in the comic.

I apologize to all who had interest in adding a commission to my queue, but eight people is more than enough work to cover my schedule for next few months. My examinations are coming up soon, so I can’t work very fast - probably first going to be able to take in more commissions during my spring break.

I had already decided this yesterday BUT it was April 1 so no one would have believed it. ;P

Thanks to everyone who participated in my contest. Now that anyone interested in entering the contest has gotten a chance of doing so and there aren't coming anymore replies, I have gone through the contest entries and found the most suitable name...

It was a tough decision, as all of the names were good, but Thalianos really clang with the idea I had in mind. I apologize to those disappointed, but I really did appreciate your efforts. I hope that you will participate again the next time I hold a contest.

What do you think of the contest itself, though? Personally, I find the usual page views contests to be bothersome as there are sometimes multiple winning entries and it requires you to be around at a certain time. I want to give everyone an equal opportunity to enter the contest, and I want the contest to be at least challenging in a fun way rather than based on pure luck. However, it’s usually less disappointing when you lose a luck based contest, because there’s nobody to blame. Please let me know your opinion and I’ll take it into consideration for further contests.

Finally, they finished the reparation of my computer; I just needed a new CPU blower for my graphic card because the previous made too much noise out of a sudden. When I had my old one down in the store for them to find a new by comparison of size and model, they offered me a model that I tried installing at home but the bolt sizes on the purchased model was too big.

I went back to the store to get my money back and when I asked if they could order a fitting model they said there wasn't one and they had to make some adjustments to my motherboard to get it to fit in. Okay then, "how much would it cost to get you guys to install it?" - ... 67.65$ for each half-hour spent in the workshop! The blower itself cost 42.28$. The best part was when he said, "If we have to take the motherboard out, it might take up to an hour", you know what that’d do to the price.

When I returned the Friday they had promised to have it done, they hadn't even begun because "some employees had called sick". So it would have to be done over the weekend. Well, thanks for calling ME and telling me THAT, so I at least could have use my computer in the meanwhile instead of having it stand there collecting dust on your workshop shelf.

Nevertheless, today I went to pick it up, prepared to give a small "dissatisfaction speech" if they hadn't attached the damn thing. But! The repair was done, and the amount was way below what they had mentioned - only about 120$. That's great, right? It didn't turn out so bad?

Then, when I got the empty box the new blower model had been in, it had only cost 21.14$. Wait, wait, what? That wasn't the same model as they had shown me, and they had fucking told me a fitting model couldn't be ordered home. When I read the repair report, they wrote that they had investigated what was wrong with the previous blower (wasted time), even though I had clearly instructed, "my previous blower makes too much noise at times, the only thing I want you to do is plug in a new one." I'm a god damn student, I don't have much money for crying out loud! Let me express myself clearly...

That aside, after a long trip carrying my computer back home (I had never noticed how many hills there are on the trip before that walk) I'm happy to have it back, less noisy than before. Crash Bandicoot Comic

I kinda drew that one after helping my sister play "Crash Tag Team Racing" at my dad's place. There was this world with prehistoric creatures, including snowmen, that would eat the hero, Crash, in a funny way when you interacted with their various NPCs. The sequence I drew was from a scene where Crash found a baby and teased it a little before the mother appeared from behind and - glomp - you know where he then went. :) But I thought it would be funnier (and sexier) with Crunch and Crash than just Crash.

I've been meaning to do another contest in regard to the increasing page views, favourites, watches and comments that you give me. I didn't quite like the previous contest, most people didn't even get the opportunity to participate.

On the same time I have a problem, I can’t figure out a proper name for the world that my characters live in. Either my idea sounds too close to “Narnia” or just plain confusing and unpronounceable.

So, to participate in this contest, all you have to do is to come up with a good name for me. The name should fit a medieval world that’s split in warfare between two kingdoms (Elysium & the Dark Kingdom) and the majority of the land is covered by fields, forests, mountains, all that buss.

My mother pulled me out of bed this Sunday morning to watch Spiderwick in the cinema out of a sudden. She meant for to surprise my youngest little sister (I have two of those annoying things!) who had read the book and really wanted to see the movie.

I didn't think it was that good, it was better than your average movie but not as good as something like Narnia. It put too much focus on "oh my god, there's magical creatures amongst us" when we're quite used to seeing fantasy creatures through different media already.

But what caught my attention was the music done by James Horner. In case you don't remember some of his previous works, he made the beautiful song "One Last Wish":

Yep, that's from Casper!The live Casper movie was in general a big shock in its release. It was a true hybrid in Hollywood films, lying somewhere between a children's movie and an adult drama - Great nonetheless.

Aside from the movie's unusual portrayal, within it lies perhaps one of James Horner's most beautifully composed songs ever, carrying a simple melancholy piano line. That song is "One Last Wish", and it is played over this tribute video.

*spoiler* I couldn't help but giggle a little at the thought of carnivore when the big, sexy and evil ogre turned into his dark bird form and flew right into the mouth of that bird eating troll and only a few feathers came out with a burp.

One of the few activities I have (had) while my computer is being repaired is listening to this audio book of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows". I know I am very late to get the book read and in a format of audio do not excuse me any less.

Nevertheless, I really did enjoy listening to it, Harry Potter being one of the few books that really fascinated me, and I had almost forgotten how much I loved the story. I laughed while listening, I drew while listening, I even took showers while listening. I lied down on my bed, I sat in my chair, I even walked around in my room imitating the characters like some theatre act in the more dramatic scenes.

However, when it was over, despite how I thought the ending really was, I was very disappointed. Not because of the way it ended, but because of the fact that the story was over. No more looking forward to the next book's release, no more thrills in following Harry Potter's life, nevermore.

I hope that I will have my computer back in a day’s time or two so that I can forget about the depressive feeling of never getting to read a new book of Harry Potter. For me, Harry Potter has died. ;-|

My computer is currently being repaired and the computer I'm using right now to access to the Internet is this school computer that's taking from thee to five minutes loading every page, so I won't be able to work on any commissions till I have my computer back on either Friday or Monday.  lilglenndoggy's "Ahhh Crossovers" submission reminded me of a show I had long forgotten, Widget the World Watcher. I can't have been more than seven to eight years old when I watched that, along with The Smurfs and Sonic the Hedgehog. ;D

I looked around for some episodes to rewatch, but it appears the show was never released on DVD and is now pretty much lost. What a shame! It was way better than Captain Planet. I think these comments I found googling for the show sums it up:

Every morning, if I got up early enough, like 4 or 5 a.m, I would find "Widget: the World Watcher." Many would say it wasn't the best, but it was cool enough to get up for.

Anybody that hasn't ever seen this, here's the scoop: This alien comes to earth dedicated to protect the planet. He's purple, he can morph,and can even talk to animals. His pals? Two earth brothers and a overactive head and hands called MegaBrain that lives in a watch on Widget's wrist.

Imagine my shock getting up from bed and discovering that this show's gone. WHERE'D IT GO??!!"Widget" was one of the better enviromental shows they played down here on Rede Globo de Televisão [RGDT] that was not from Japan nor Canada. Most of the US or Latino stuff played was too preachy or it talked down to young audiences. However, Widget (US/Philipine co-production) fit neither of those stereotypes.

The plot focuses around shapeshifting alien (title character) and his race, plus, a talking brain robot and psychic kids noticing the disasters that takes place on Earth and Widget's homeworld, so they must try to enlighten the ignorant and punish the wrong-doing aliens that cannot survive on earth and pollute it with their own chemicals or introduce foreign species to interfere with Earth.

From some sources I have heard, this cartoon was made, due to the fact of the high pollution rate in the Philipines (or at least Manilla anyways), so Pinay animations and various Philipina and America companies decided to come up with this concept.
I remember how facinated I was by the villians in the show because it wasn't just some fat man or ugly lady but "dark versions" of the heroes. The show had some of the most original character designs I have ever seen. ;D
